Chapter 99: Chapter 99
More than a month after the missions were released, a significant number of middle-ranked genin were recruited into the OEM factory.
At the same time, Toki arranged for a large number of Uchiha clan members to start selling scientific ninja tools.

The Land of Wind, Sunagakure
Rasa, the Fourth Kazekage, who had just successfully negotiated with Iwagakure, looked at the Uchiha representative in front of him with utter confusion.
"What did you just say?"
The Uchiha ninja, Kenichi, smiled politely and repeated, "Our Konoha has withdrawn from the ranks of the Five Great Ninja Villages and transformed into an ordinary village. From now on, we will no longer answer to the Daimyo of the Land of Fire. Instead, we focus on small-scale business ventures, like selling ninja tools. We no longer engage in mercenary missions.
"Therefore, we hope to establish a long-term cooperative relationship with Sunagakure. Furthermore, we would like permission to post Konoha's missions here in your village."
Rasa's face darkened as if he were suffering from constipation.
"Do you think I'd actually believe that?"
Kenichi sighed helplessly and shrugged. "There's no other way. The Daimyo of the Land of Fire only trusts Sarutobi Hiruzen. As a result, Konoha has lost all military funding and has had to become self-reliant. Thankfully, our clan leader developed a new type of scientific ninja tool that greatly enhances the combat effectiveness of ninjas. From now on, Konoha plans to survive by selling these tools."
Rasa frowned and asked skeptically, "Are you serious?"
Kenichi nodded sincerely.
"Absolutely. All our workers now have formal employment contracts with benefits like insurance and housing allowances. No one is interested in low-level jobs like sweeping streets or collecting garbage anymore. Those tasks are better suited for other villages—like yours."
Rasa's face twitched as Kenichi continued with a grin.
"In fact, if you don't believe me, you could send troops to attack the Daimyo of the Land of Fire. Konoha won't intervene. The Daimyo even formed the Twelve Guardian Ninja under Sarutobi Hiruzen. They have nothing to do with us anymore."
Hearing this, Rasa's expression turned contemplative. He muttered to himself, "The Twelve Guardian Ninja... Sarutobi Hiruzen..."
After a moment, he glared at Kenichi. "So, you came here just to post some missions?"
Kenichi smiled and replied, "Yes, but that's not all. We're also introducing the scientific ninja tools developed by the Uchiha clan."
Rasa sneered in disdain. "Do you think Sunagakure would ever use tools developed in Konoha?"
A sudden realization struck Rasa. He narrowed his eyes and thought, This must be a trap! They probably planted explosive tags or even a Flying Thunder God marker in these tools.
He laughed coldly. "Sunagakure has no interest in your so-called ninja tools. Let's not discuss it further!"
After his declaration, Rasa looked at Kenichi with a smug expression, confident he had seen through the Uchiha's scheme.
Kenichi, unfazed, took out a scroll from his ninja tool bag and handed it to Rasa. "This contains our current missions. Feel free to take a look."
Rasa's smile faltered. Wait, they actually brought missions?
He signaled to a Sunagakure Anbu to retrieve the scroll. The Anbu cautiously inspected the scroll before leaving the office to ensure it wasn't a trap.
Kenichi rolled his eyes in exasperation. If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't need traps. One Kamui or Amaterasu would be enough to take you out.
At this point, many elite Uchiha ninjas had unlocked their Mangekyō Sharingan through the clan's bloodline research programs. Although they weren't Kage-level yet, their unique abilities like Kamui, Amaterasu, and Tsukuyomi made them formidable opponents.
If Kenichi wanted, he could assassinate Rasa on the spot. However, it would be troublesome to escape afterward, especially since Mangekyō techniques consumed a significant amount of chakra.
Moments later, the Anbu returned and handed the scroll to Rasa. "Kazekage-sama, the scroll is clean."
Rasa frowned and opened it, scanning the densely packed list of missions ranging from D-rank to B-rank.
He gasped. They're serious?!
The scroll listed everything from mundane tasks like weeding and garbage collection to standard escort missions. However, Konoha had outright declined high-level A- and S-rank missions, directing those to other villages instead.
Kenichi smiled. "If you don't believe us, feel free to send a few ninjas to investigate. It won't cost you anything."
Kenichi didn't press further about the scientific ninja tools. He knew Sunagakure would eventually beg to buy them once they realized other villages were using these tools to gain an edge.
You'll come crawling to us soon enough, Kenichi thought smugly. And when that happens, you'll pay the price.
