Fwish!
Fwish!!!
"Hmmm... Yeah, that's already way better than yesterday…"
I've been grinding away at my claw technique for almost a week straight now. Non-stop training, no breaks, just focusing on getting it right—and honestly? It's paying off. My swipes are much cleaner, quicker, and way more controlled. I can actually feel the difference in every move I made compared to the day before...
On top of that, my ki control has taken a big step up. I even figured out how to suppress it, though it's still a bit rough around the edges. Progress is progress, though, right? The cool part is how much all this training has boosted my power overall. Last time I went all out, I got around 50% stronger. Now? I've pushed it even further.
And here's the real kicker—I haven't even been hitting the physical side of training that hard this week. This has all been about working on ki control and refining my claw attacks. Even so, it feels like my body's been adapting on its own. After this last session, I think I might've hit some kind of breakthrough with my claws... They just click now, like they're fully synced with my ki, they had gotten even larger and sharper.

Now that's what I'm talking about. If I'd actually focused on physical training instead of just ki, I might've even doubled my overall strength by now.
Still, I think this crazy growth is tied to my potential. It's like my body just knows how to keep up with my training much better than before, almost like it's speeding everything up for me. I'm growing stronger, faster, sharper... It's kind of wild when I really think about it.
Not only that, I've gone off track from my original plan. Honestly, the whole idea of inhabiting someone else's body doesn't sit right with me anymore, at least not for their power. It's not exactly appealing to me... That said, I'm confident I can handle the beast now, especially since I know exactly where it is.
Yeah, I might as well go take it down for its skills, right? Yeah, no point wasting any more time. Let's get this done.

I took a deep breath, flexing my claws experimentally while gathering my ki. The thought of finally facing that thing, it filled me with a strange mix of excitement. It probably wasn't going to be easy, but I wasn't the same as I was before. I'd grown stronger—much stronger—and this time, I was ready.
What really piqued my interest were the abilities it even had. From what I'd observed before, they seemed different from mine. They ridiculously effective in their own right. It wasn't flashy like raw power or speed, but it was the kind of strength that made fights last longer: unyielding stamina, insane defensive capabilities, and a knack for wearing opponents down. Honestly, that was perfect. I didn't just want to hit hard—I wanted to last longer, endure more, and outpace anyone who dared to challenge me.
I clenched my fist, feeling the energy surge through me. "Alright," a smirk creeping onto my face. "Time to collect what's mine."
The journey to its location wasn't really far, but the atmosphere shifted as I got closer... The air felt much heavier actually... The energy in the area was tense and even a bit suffocating, was it just the general atmosphere? There was just one fact... I could immediately tell that this thing wasn't going to go down without a fight.
When I finally arrived, there it was, standing motionless yet radiating a quiet, imposing presence. Its body exuded a strange glow, like a barrier of energy constantly surrounding it... That had to be one of its abilities—defensive ki? Maybe always active? Or a passive that's always protecting it. Which if that was the case, it's rather interesting...
I took another breath, calming myself a bit, and stepped forward. My claws humming with energy, and I could feel the rhythm of my ki syncing perfectly with each movement to the tip of my fingers... "Alright, big guy," I said, my voice steady. "Let's see what you've got."
The creature's glowing aura flared as it turned to face me, and I felt the weight of its energy bearing down on me. This was going to be one hell of a fight—but I wasn't backing down. Focusing on it for a bit, I could see it's stats and abilities...

Yeah, this thing was definitely built to last. A true tank, designed to outlast its enemies with ridiculous stamina and defense. But soon, all of that would be mine. Still… one thing kept bugging me.
Why was its latent potential so high?
It didn't make sense. A creature like this wasn't about rapid growth or adaptability—it was about enduring. So why did it have that much hidden potential? The thought gnawed at the back of my mind, but I shook it off.
"Anyway," I muttered, focusing my energy, "let's just get this over with."
Without wasting another second, I dashed forward, my speed cutting through the air like a knife. I had the edge here—it might've had a higher base power level than me, but that didn't matter. There was no way I'd fight this thing head-to-head on raw power alone. That'd just be playing into its strengths.
Maybe I can test something here... An experiment of sorts...
Instead of fighting it head on, I cranked my energy to the max, pushing my power beyond its limits. My ki flared violently, surging through me as I prepared to end this in one decisive strike. With its defensive properties, I couldn't afford to drag this out. One blow, all or nothing.
"Phoo..." I exhaled, gripping my right arm as tightly as I could, focusing my ki into it. This was as good as any time to make a final flashy move, right?
Crackle!
The air around me started to vibrate, charged with raw energy. Lightning danced around my body, spiraling toward my arm as the vibrations intensified. My claws began to shimmer, growing and glowing with an almost blinding light as the power built up.
Crackle!!
The ground beneath me cracked under the sheer force of the energy I was channeling all my energy into my claws...
"Da-Damn..."
My arm felt like it was on fire, vibrating with a power I'd never tapped into before. I could feel it—this attack would end it. There was no way it could survive...
Still, there was this small speck of uncertainty in the back of my mind. I'd never attempted anything like this before. The energy surging through me was wild, almost unstable, but I didn't care. This thing needed to go down, and it needed to happen now.
"Alright," I muttered, my voice low and steady as I prepared to unleash everything. "Let's see if that armor of yours can handle this."
And with that, I lunged forward, all my power concentrated into a single, earth-shattering strike...
In kind, it responded just the same...
"Harghhh!!!!!"
VRRRRROOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!~
.
.
.
"Huff... Huff... Huff..."
I stood there, panting heavily, my body trembling as the last remnants of energy crackled around me. That attack... it had drained everything I had in me. My vision had blurred for a moment, but I steadied myself, with the destruction I'd caused coming into focus...
"Whoah..." I couldn't control saying it...
In front of me, the land bore the scars of my strike—five massive slashes stretched across the horizon, carving deep trenches into the earth for literal miles. My breath hitched as I took it all in. Did... did I really just do that?
And then I saw it—or what was left of it. The creature's body was split into several grotesque, smoking chunks, scattered like broken pieces of a puzzle. Its once-mighty form lay defeated, the shimmering aura that had surrounded it now gone.
A laugh bubbled up from my throat. At first, it was quiet, almost disbelieving. Then it grew louder, more exhilarated, until I couldn't hold it back anymore.
"Haha... Haha... HAHAHA!!!"
That felt amazing. The power, the precision, the sheer destruction!—I'd never done anything like that before. Hell my hands were still tingling from it all, the aftermath of that kind of energy just lingering. Yeah, I'd definitely have to refine that technique. It was dangerous, sure, but the potential... oh, it was damn near limitless.
But sadly, there was no time to bask in the glory of my victory... I wasn't done here yet.
I glanced down at the remains of the creature... If I wanted its abilities, I'd need to put it back together—at least enough for my plan to work. My body still ached a little, but I summoned what little energy I had left and created a smaller clone of myself...
The clone formed in front of me, a miniature version of myself. It wasn't much, but it should be more than enough to get the job done.
"Alright, little guy..." I said, nodding to it. "You know what to do."
The clone got to work immediately, its movements precise and efficient. I watched as it carefully began organizing the beast's remains, piece by piece, merging them together in a patchwork reconstruction. My ability wasn't exactly healing, but it was close enough—a crude, false restoration that would make the creature functional again, at least temporarily.
As the process continued, I noticed the clone's energy waning. Its glow dimmed, its form shrinking as it poured everything into the task. When it finally finished, the creature's body was stitched back together, an unnatural but effective reconstruction... I cringed a bit, sighed it off.
The clone turned to me one last time, giving a small nod before dissolving into the creature
The creature's reconstructed form twitched slightly, its chest rising and falling in shallow, uneven breaths... I stepped a bit closer, watching as the final part of the process were finished. The creature halted, and then I entered its body.
In a swift fluctuation, I could feel our powers merging and the memories sinking in...
However, that was nothing compared to the power I had no, I could feel my new body growing larger, changing it's shape to be a hybrid of my, and the creature's body...
Hmmm... I might as well see my current level while I'm here, Status!

Not bad at all... Plus, those new abilities it had will suit me well. I can see that my training efficiency will practically double compared to before, and my toughness would be much higher for creature's of the same level... Now I just needed a sort of regeneration... This body, despite my aid isn't going to last that long...
But, it would be enough for me to gain all perks before I feel it's effects. In fact, I'll likely need to carry over regeneration to all bodies I possessed. It's a shame though... For now, I need to hide my energy; given my current level of control, It'll roughly be a 30th of my original strength, which should be enough...
For now, I just need to adapt to this body and toss it when necessary...

The Saiyan commander stood amidst the destruction, his scouter blinking incessantly as it failed to process the magnitude of the readings it had detected earlier. He surveyed the battlefield, the miles-long slashes carved into the ground...
"Just what could have done such a thing?" The Saiyan commander looked at the aftermath of what he presumed to be one massive power spike...
"The reading's gone as well sire..." One of the soldiers said. The commander looked to the side, a bit annoyed, "A power just over 100 thousand just can't vanish into thin air... We need to find it, and see what it's about. Everyone, keep searching the area for any other signs, if you've found nothing by then, we spread out into different quadrants..."
The commander took one last look at the battlefield, his mind going through certain possibilities... A power like this could either be a threat—or an opportunity. Either way, they needed answers.
