Quirkless Hero

After the police investigated Eri's situation, they immediately issued a search warrant and asked All Might and "Lemillion" to assist in the investigation of "Shie Hassaikai." 

Ochako, Takeyama Urei, and Hatsume Mei went back to school early. This was an order from All Might, acting in his role as a U.A. High School teacher, since it wasn't appropriate for them to get involved in the following events. 

Hado Nejire and Togata Mirio, both part of U.A.'s Big Three, were mature students on the verge of becoming top professional heroes, so she was tasked with taking care of Eri. 

As for Midoriya Izuku, aside from his firm attitude about wanting to follow through and learn more about Eri's case, All Might wasn't comfortable letting him return alone… especially since it was clear that the "League of Villains" had started moving. 

Once the search warrant was issued, they wasted no time. The gathered team at the police station headed directly toward the city where "Shie Hassaikai" was located, with Hado Nejire holding Eri close, as she was an important witness. 

"Shie Hassaikai" is a yakuza group in Japan. Although the term "yakuza" sounds unpleasant, in Japan, such organizations are legally recognized. 

Since long ago, the Japanese government has acknowledged the yakuza as legal groups. Here's a brief explanation of their history: 

During the chaotic era when "Quirks" began appearing, many people used their powerful abilities to form gangs and commit crimes. However, some well-meaning individuals banded together to fight against these criminals. 

People who received help from these groups began calling them "ninkyō organizations," a term for honorable yakuza groups in Japan. 

In those early days, when there were few heroes and the government's power was weak, crime was rampant. Maintaining public order largely depended on the "ninkyō organizations." 

But even though they were called "ninkyō organizations," they were still yakuza at heart, and the methods they used in their rivalries were often brutal. 

Compared to modern times, back then, using extreme measures like killing to set an example and deter others was considered normal. 

As time passed and the chaotic "Quirk" era gradually came to an end, Japan slowly regained peace. Eventually… 

The hero era began, led by All Might, ushering in a peaceful society. Crime rates in Japan fell to their lowest point, and the government's power steadily grew stronger. 

In today's society, criminal yakuza groups have long been wiped out by heroes and the police. However, those yakuza who had always followed the "ninkyō" path still held great respect among the people, forcing the Japanese government to make a compromise. 

The government created specific laws allowing yakuza groups to exist legally, engage in legitimate gray-area businesses, and even have the private right to discipline their members. 

However, they were forbidden from committing crimes—if they did, they would be treated as enemy groups and dealt with accordingly. 

So, in today's era, yakuza groups legally operate businesses such as cabarets, casinos, and money-lending services—businesses that are technically legal but border on the gray area. 

Moreover, yakuza groups often cooperate with the police in arresting criminals and maintaining order in their territories, helping to keep the peace overall. 

That said… with the rise of the hero era, most young people dream of becoming heroes. Who would still want to join the yakuza? 

By the time Midoriya Izuku was born, the once-powerful "ninkyō" yakuza groups had started to decline. Without new generations to take over, they might disappear entirely within a generation or two. 

"Shie Hassaikai" is one such "ninkyō" yakuza group. The old boss is highly respected in the local city, and the townspeople have a certain level of goodwill toward the group. Still, the younger generation dreams of becoming heroes, not joining the yakuza. 

Like most yakuza groups, "Shie Hassaikai" is gradually fading away…

Chisaki, the young boss of [Shie Hassaikai], was adopted by the former boss when he was an orphan. Since then, he gradually grew up within this underworld organization.

Chisaki has deep feelings for the place where he grew up. He willingly stained his hands with blood, acting as a cleaner to mercilessly eliminate all enemies of [Shie Hassaikai].

Chisaki's actions earned him the admiration of all the members of [Shie Hassaikai], and the former boss was very satisfied with him, naming Chisaki as the young boss and planning to hand over leadership to him when the time was right.

Everything seemed perfect, but Chisaki was not satisfied... It was now the era of heroes, and the future of underworld organizations was bound to decline. He didn't want [Shie Hassaikai] to end under his leadership, but he also knew that his strength alone wasn't enough to challenge society.

Eri was taken in by the former boss after her Quirk awakened, causing her father to disappear completely. Overcome with grief and anger, her mother abandoned her, leaving Eri's grandfather to raise her.

At this moment, Chisaki saw hope when he learned about the young girl's Quirk...

In the main hall of [Shie Hassaikai], a man wearing a medieval-style bird mask waved his hand, signaling his subordinates to stand down. His face remained expressionless, calm as still water.

The police had already surrounded [Shie Hassaikai]. Led by All Might, they stood at the entrance, ready to deliver justice with the no.1 hero's iron fist if anyone dared to resist.

"Is Sir Nighteye not coming?"

Midoriya looked at Senior Hado, who was calming Eri and telling her not to be afraid. Seeing only the police and their group, but no sign of Nighteye, he asked Togata Mirio beside him.

"Sir said something felt very off, so he went back to the office to investigate."

Midoriya also felt uneasy about the situation, but he couldn't tolerate what had happened to Eri. He was determined to seek justice for the little girl this time.

Just as Officer Tsukauchi finished speaking, the front door of [Shie Hassaikai] opened, and a man wearing a bird mask stepped out—it was Chisaki, the young boss.

Chisaki glanced at the police surrounding the building, then fixed his gaze on Eri, who was in Hado Nejire's arms.

"Eri, you've been so naughty. Not only did you sneak away, but you also brought the police with you. Your grandfather is going to be upset, you know?"

Chisaki smiled warmly, like a kind older brother, leaving everyone stunned.

However... only Eri lowered her head, gripping Hado Nejire's clothes tightly with her small hands, too frightened to speak.

"Don't be afraid..."

Midoriya gently placed his hand on the little girl's head. Eri looked up and saw Midoriya Izuku's reassuring smile as he spoke seriously: 

"We're all here—heroes and police—to help you!"
