Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 568 568: Come back to me

Matthew tightened his grip on Conrad's neck, but before making a move, he felt a strange inscription on the floor. He looked down at it and sighed.

"Tsk, so you have that same inscription here." It was the inscription that revived people. In reality, this was a curse, one that his family created. Only now, they had corrupted it, and it was doing something against nature.

"Well, it's no use now."

He created a small petal of ice and dropped it. It passed through the floor without problems and soon reached a dark basement, but it continued on its way. On the basement floor, it stopped when it found the inscription. Immediately afterward, the inscription froze and soon broke into pieces.

Because of that, a scandal ensued inside the building, but he ignored it and looked at Conrad again.

"Well, time to continue." Smiling, he squeezed Conrad's neck once more, and suddenly, Conrad began to feel a terrifying pain emerge from deep within his body.

"Come back to me, my little abilities. It is time for you to fulfill the mission for which you were divided."

The pain Conrad felt caused him to let out an agonizing scream of pain.

"UAHHHHHHH!"

He suddenly felt as if his blood was being extracted, but it was not so. In fact, at one point, that feeling disappeared, and instead, he began to feel his power being drained from his body, which caused a different kind of pain.

It was no longer a physical pain; it was more of a pain in the soul. It was so terrifying that it caused many strange fluids to leave his body. His body began to tremble and shake when he realized what was happening.

"You... you... my abilities... You...!" Suddenly, he entered the madness, and two orbs of energy left his body and entered Matthew's quickly as if they were longing for that moment. When this happened, all the abilities of everyone nearby began to tremble, as if they wanted to follow the example of the first two.

Conrad, who was entering madness, was suddenly blown up into a pool of blood by Matthew. Much of the power had escaped from his body when those abilities came out, so his body could offer no resistance.

"Tsk, that's what happens when they rely so much on skills to make them strong. In the end, it's a skill that gives them strength. Tsk, waste of a vessel."

Matthew shook off the blood and looked at Dean, who had a look of horror on his face.

"Those... They were his abilities..."

"C-can you take away other people's abilities?" Although with difficulty and stammering, he could ask that little question.

Matthew laughed coldly.

"The others? Please make no mistake; these abilities have always been mine. You are just vessels for gathering information. You are just a bunch of empty vessels that should fill up with my abilities, but the information has been corrupted. So it's time for you to return to your original bodies."

He squeezed Dean's neck and punched him in the chest, causing him to feel the same pain or a more terrifying one than Conrad had felt.

Unlike Conrad, Dean had already exceeded 100,000 power, which meant he had three abilities. Because it was an additional ability, the pain was 50% higher.

Furthermore, strangely, the pain seemed to be greater than that; the screams of agony echoed through the place, making all the assassins in the place realize that if they didn't move, they would all die.

If two heirs lost so quickly... Then, they would be lost if they didn't take advantage of the terrain.

So, a large number of people attacked from all sides, and weapons and powers were fired at Matthew. It didn't matter if Dean was alive; if they could kill Matthew, they were sure that no one would punish them, even if, in the process, they also killed such a distinguished heir as Dean.

The various attacks soon reached him, but suddenly, what appeared to be a blue curtain rose up around Matthew. It had a strange icy aura, which seemed to freeze everything it touched.

All the abilities, attacks, or people who attacked to try to kill him were suddenly frozen, and he moved his other hand to disperse them.

The curtain that covered him spread out in all directions, shaking everyone it had trapped and incapacitating the vast majority in one attack.

An icy explosion destroyed part of the building, but Matthew simply ignored them.

"Destroy them; none of them are any good anymore."

With that, explosions began to sound, and a large number of people appeared from everywhere, killing a lot in an instant.

"Don't let any of them escape; I've blocked the escape tunnels!" Isla shouted to the rest of the girls from the top of the building, and they all began to work together in their attack.

Meanwhile...

Dean was in terrible agony; his abilities had left his body and were already inside Matthew's body, but he was still suffering because he was under a gentle attack that would surely kill him.

Matthew was attacking him from the inside to make him suffer more while sending him words on the other side.

.

Leader Becker shuddered in his chair and fell out of it with great fear.

His body trembled, his pulse quickened as if he had run a marathon, and his blood was bubbling, but not with anger, but with fear.

'A Dietrich...'

'He really is a Dietrich...'

'No, he's not just a Dietrich. He is the rumored Heir of the Origin? He...'

'He is the son of the Great Dietrich...'

"So... W-what the hell are we doing? If that monster really came back... W-we..."

The fear in his body prevented him from thinking properly, his mind reeled from side to side, and the dizziness caused him to hit the ground on his back.

"Should we send all our troops? Kill him... Kill him... Can we really do it? He... He owns our abilities."

Although his mind was in chaos, thanks to his last thoughts, he realized they couldn't send anyone with abilities; it would be a big mistake.

'The more that go, the better it will be for him. We need to...' He then jumped up.

"Right, there's still a way..."
