Chapter 58: The district track meet

The soft breeze continues to blow, a reminder that spring lingers. And now, at long last, the highly anticipated district track meet is underway.

Students who join sports clubs are considered responsible for greeting guests from other schools at the gate. Their eager steps revealed their excitement for the upcoming competition, while the grins on their faces hinted at the enjoyment they anticipated for the day.

This event has been a long-standing tradition, so the students in the second and third grades didn't show much excitement apart from enthusiastically cheering on their friends who were participating. Meanwhile, the first-grade juniors appeared to be brimming with euphoria.

Many curious people had already gathered on the running field, while others observed from their classroom windows. Some people even chose to enjoy their breakfast while observing students from different schools getting ready.

"This school really hates men, doesn't it? Can't they invite public schools too, so we can join in?" complained Gakuto, sitting comfortably under an open tent adorned with a banner that read 'bag storage'.

There are bags scattered behind him, each with its unique features that reflect the personality of their owner. The arrangement is tidy, with a mat underneath to ensure the bags stay clean and well-maintained.

"I don't see any issue with it. I wouldn't be a fan of being forced to compete. Running takes a lot of energy you know, I'm afraid they won't even reward me with anything, not even meal."

Gakuto's brows furrowed as he processed the information, his gaze shifting to the side. A sense of disappointment began to well up within him as he watched Andre's flushed cheeks. Moreover, he couldn't conceal his heavy breathing as his attention was completely captivated by the girls preparing on the running track.

"You need to have control over your desires, Andre-dono. Showing your dishonorable appearance like that won't attract them," Gakuto effortlessly offered some wise advice that caught Andre off guard and threw him off his game.

It wouldn't just be him. Kiyoshi, Shinggo, and Joe would also be equally surprised if they were here.

"Hey, Gakuto, what's been going on with you lately? Is it because of the girl you met yesterday?"

"Shh! How did you figure that out?" Gakuto swiftly jolted upwards, clutching onto Andre's shirt with a firm grip. He quickly scanned his surroundings to ensure they were alone before returning his gaze to Andre.

"Shinggo and Joe told me... they mentioned that the girl was cute and quite shy. What's up, Gakuto? You seem a bit off," Andre said with a hint of concern, but he continued to press nonetheless.

In fact, there were others who also tried to conceal their encounters with the members of the Aboveground Student Council, not just Gakuto. Andre was unsure about sharing the details of his meeting with Risa Bettou with his friends.

Thinking it was the perfect time, Andre continued, "You know what? Yesterday, out of nowhere, this girl I'd never met before came up to me. She claimed to be from the Aboveground Student Council-"

"What! Did someone from the Aboveground Student Council approach you as well?" Gakuto exclaimed, clearly taken aback. His hands, which had tightly gripped Andre's shirt, now shifted to his shoulders. The pressure he exerted only intensified.

"S-Sorry, can we leave our bags here?"

Just then, a girl's voice came through, trying to be polite yet conveying a sense of impatience. They both turned around abruptly, and Gakuto had also released his grip.

Without them realizing it, several female students from different schools had already formed a line in front of them. Without hesitation, Gakuto and Andre quickly grabbed their bags and meticulously organized them while taking notes.

Gakuto looks in a hurry when carrying out his duties as a bag guard. It all happened because he was too impatient to listen to Andre's incomplete tale.

Once they've completed their task and are ready to relax, they can take a seat again. Meiko rushed over as soon as she heard the commotion. She sported the identical attire as the athletes competing in the district track meet. She also had a small board and paper to jot down notes during the event.

Gakuto, who had just experienced a sudden surge of wisdom, seemed to have vanished, reverting back to his usual perverted self in the presence of Meiko Shiraki. She stood there confidently, hands on her hips, and her condescending gaze was enough to make them both on fire.

"You damn pigs! If I come across another line at your tent, I swear I'll force you to eat my shoes, got it? No more talking to each other!"

Meiko's harsh words left some students from other schools visibly shocked, yet they seemed indifferent to the situation, lacking any trace of sympathy. Instead, they shared their negative opinions with the two poor men.

"I don't believe this school actually admits boys, I think it's just a rumor."

"Look, they're even wearing prison clothes, what a creep. They must have done something bad."

"Will our bags be fine? What happens if they take our underwear? I've heard that men enjoy engaging in more risqué activities."

As Meiko listened to the growing number of negative comments circulating, she realized the urgency of addressing this issue promptly. She wanted to avoid damaging the reputation of Hachimitsu Academy, and, above all, she didn't want Mari to suffer the consequences of this matter.

She turned towards the students, meeting their gaze with a warm smile as she apologized. She began to provide them with reassurance, ensuring that their concerns would not materialize. She even showed it firsthand by kicking Gakuto and Andre.

It's unfortunate that she doesn't bring her BDSM whip because, at the moment, she resembles a lion charmer in the midst of a circus performance, except her methods are even more cruel than the real one. She pressed her shoes firmly against Andre's head, causing it to collide with the ground. Gakuto, who witnessed the scene, couldn't help but feel a mix of resignation and frustration.

"You guys think this is funny! We're not animals-" Gakuto, determined to find justice, quickly dropped to the ground as Meiko's foot expertly connected with his mouth.

"There's no need to worry about them. They are just miserable men without the strength to stand on their own feet therefore they can only scream."

The brief performance concluded with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the rest of the school's female students. They are not only amazed by Meiko's dominance and words, but also by her captivating appearance.

Meiko signaled for everyone to resume their warm-ups with a clap of her hands, but not before delivering a stern final warning to Gakuto and Andre.

"If you perform your duties diligently, I'll make sure to acknowledge your efforts with a well-deserved reward."

Andre, who had just managed to sit up, quickly nodded his head like a dog. As soon as he thought about the gift Meiko might give him, his excitement grew, and his breath quickened.

He completely disregarded the pain and embarrassment he had just experienced.

Meanwhile, Gakuto had to endure humiliation, and his eyes were filled with anger. But amidst the turmoil, he found solace in the memory of someone's smile. He decides to meet up with Mitsuko Yokoyama once more and agrees to her plan of dismantling the Underground Student Council.
