Chapter 382: Saving Dori (1)
⟪The universe has granted your wish. The universe deems your request too shameless, so you have received a quest.⟫
⟪Quest Name: Saving Dori⟫
⟪Quest Type: Eradication⟫
⟪Quest Difficulty: Very High⟫
→ The one named Dori is being held by the Crimson Vipers, an elite bandit force made up of various beastkin.
→ They are a danger to all who travel through the Ghandy Valley. Thousands have died by their weapons, and many families have been divided due to their treachery.
→ To save her, you must destroy the Crimson Vipers and free all prisoners.
→ Remember, the strongest among them are three orcs, all at the Root Sovereign stage.
→ Aside from them, there are 10 Root Ascension and 56 Root Transcendents.
→ The rest are just small fries.
⟪Rewards:⟫
→ 20 million Tower Points
→ Dungeon Master Card x3
→ Undead Schematic Creator
→ Dungeon Seeker Card Upgrader x2
→ Hidden Reward
"This is just too convenient," Kent smirked, knowing this wasn't how he expected the wish to go. He expected Dori to be whisked away and brought to him inside the tower.
But now, he must embark on a mission.
Naturally, he knew the universe was messing with him. Strangely, he found it amusing.
⟪Good luck on your mission, Master. I can already see you having fun.⟫ Gaia and Akira giggled despite this mission being about saving their sister.
But it was understandable, considering even a god couldn't kill Dori despite her being harmless to even flowers. This means for another billion years; she wouldn't die as long as this universe still is there.
Kent snorted and chose to handle the mission now, considering he had received the power to open a portal to where he needed to go.
Using his connection with his undead and the others, he summoned Kaizo, Sylara, Veydris, Uncle Drew, Saden, and the three soul sentinels to the mountain garden.
He even added the four Battle Dolls he had bought during his battle with the evil sect.
"Are we going on a mission, Master?" Kaizo asked immediately as he appeared atop the mountain.
"Yes. A new mission has arrived, and this one is out of this world. So, you all should be prepared. We are going to a world of beast-men, but not to play around. Instead, we are going to kill some people," Kent smiled.
"I am already packed and ready to break some skulls." Kaizo's fist crackled with lightning.
"Relax, Kaizo. You must first see the description before jumping to conclusions." Kent shared the description of the quest with his undead and Night Riders.
Strangely, he could do the same with the three Soul Sentinels. They are Elsa's soul sentinels, but he has the same authority Elsa has over them.
"These are indeed some odds, but from the way I see it, you and I will handle one Sovereign, Veydris will handle another, and Sylara will take the last.
This will be like a warm-up for when we meet the bat again." Kaizo had already set his battle plans in motion, and the rest nodded.
"Kaizo is indeed right. I can handle two Ascension; my Hell Demons can handle the rest. Saden and the three, along with the metal dolls, can handle the Transcendents.
The small fries can be handled by my mount, who has also become Transcendent like me." Uncle Drew seemed to like the battle plan, too.
"What about your ladies? I can tell the one with the red eyes loves to fight, so why not bring her too?" Sylara strangely wanted Neomi to come, but Kent shook his head.
"Though she is going to be pissed when she hears there was a battle and she wasn't invited, she is currently helping her sisters take care of the two ladies we rescued, so we must do this without her.
Plus, we have dungeons to explore after this mission, so she will have loads of battles to fight soon."
They all nodded at his words.
"In that case, we are ready to embark on this mission, Master," Kaizo said, and the rest nodded again.
"Very well." Kent snapped his fingers, and a portal opened. Without any hesitation, he stepped in, and the rest of his legion followed.
The moment they passed through the portal, they appeared atop a different mountain where a large expanse of forest could be seen stretching far and wide.
Most of the plants in the forest had pink leaves, and the energy in the air was much more powerful than that of Sonix, the world Kent lives in.
He quickly scanned the world using his enchanted eyes. He had gained those eyes after absorbing the Kingdom Builder books from the Enchantress.
That quest is also pending, for he knew one day, the Enchantress will ask her favour, and he cannot turn her down. But for now, he can only enjoy the benefits.
⟪World Name: Fedora⟫
⟪Rank: High⟫
⟪Strongest Existence: Tyrant Orc King Balma (Level 6 Spirit Lord)⟫
"I know you all can sense the energy in this world. That is because this world is a high world, while the one we came from is a medium world," Kent said.
"But soon, we will ascend to a higher world and start to travel to more worlds of even higher ranks. So get a feel for it now, for you will be getting more later."
He turned his focus back to the next set of messages that were all about the world. Basically, this is a world ruled by beasts and monster races.
They have different kinds of beasts, each with a powerhouse rooted in this world.
However, the strongest existence is the Tyrant Orc King Balma, a powerful being whose tyranny spreads far and wide.
He rules over the majority of this world, and while there are other powerhouses, because of his strength, they can only bow to him.
This caused Kent to sense something fishy and true to his feelings; when the description of the forest before them appeared, he got his answer.
"There is good news and bad news," Kent smiled, causing his legion to look at him strangely.
"The one we are coming to save is in the deepest prison in that direction. However, before we can get to her, we must first kill three Orc generals, who are the level three Sovereigns.
Now, the bad news. This world is ruled by someone we cannot survive a single attack from. And if we kill even one of the three Level 3 Orc Generals, that being will sense it and come after us."
Kent was smiling while saying that. One could already see the craziness in his eyes.
"I don't know about you, Master, but I want to see such an existence and perhaps exchange a punch or two," Kaizo said, and like a maniac, Kent's smile bloomed.
"Let's move out. We have three orcs to kill."
