Plop~
Dewdrops dripped onto the tent.
Natsume felt a bit cramped in her chest and opened her eyes.
Minccino was sound asleep on Natsume's chest.
Natsume gently lifted it and placed it on her pillow.
"Servine~"
Outside the tent, Servine was practicing its newly learned moves.
It seemed to have gotten inspiration while cutting the Hearty Grains.
It combined Leaf Blade with Vine Whip.
This way, Servine could use the swing of Vine Whip to extend the attack range of Leaf Blade.
Swadloon was curled up under a tree, yawning.
It also looked like it had just woken up.
"Good morning, Servine, Swadloon."
Natsume stepped out of the tent.
"Servine~"
Servine responded.
Swadloon still wore its usual blank expression.
Natsume stretched and then took out Dragonair's Poké Ball.
"Come on out, Dragonair."
Dragonair preferred the comfort of Natsume's luxurious Poké Ball over sleeping outside.
So, at night, it had automatically returned to its Poké Ball.
After releasing Dragonair, Natsume noticed that Arcanine, who had been sleeping by the campfire, was missing.
"Servine, where's Arcanine?"
"Servine~"
Servine indicated that Arcanine had picked up the scent of a strange Pokémon.
So, Arcanine ran off to chase after it.
Natsume didn't think much of it.
There were so many Pokémon in this area that Arcanine had never encountered.
Natsume picked up her phone and opened Farm Story to take a look.
Task 1 required 12 hours of exploration time.
To complete it, Natsume needed to spend 12 hours moving through the forest; sleep did not count toward the exploration time.
This meant Natsume still needed 4 more hours to complete the Exploration Mission.
"After we finish breakfast, following Swadloon to its group territory should allow us to complete the first Exploration Mission."
Natsume thought to herself as she set down her phone.
Natsume began to prepare breakfast.
Breakfast was quite simple: a pot of Hearty Grains porridge and some fruit would do.
Arcanine's nose was sharp.
As soon as Natsume finished cooking the porridge, Arcanine returned.
"Arcanine, did you find that Pokémon?"
Natsume asked Arcanine.
"Awooo~"
Arcanine shook its head in frustration.
"Don't worry about it."
Natsume reassured, "This forest is so vast; it's normal not to find it."
"Let's eat first."
"Awooo~"
After the meal,
Natsume cleaned up the campsite.
Dragonair extinguished the campfire with water.
Natsume and the others began walking toward Swadloon's territory.
"Swadloon, how many members does your group have?"
Natsume asked curiously while looking at Swadloon.
Swadloon thought for a moment before giving an answer.
"Swadloon."
Swadloon's group leader was a Leavanny.
There were about twelve Sewaddle in total.
Including itself, there were only two Swadloon.
However, it liked to wander around.
Although the Sewaddle family belongs to the Bug egg group, they are not classified as insect Pokémon in Pokémon categorization.
They are known as the sewing Pokémon.
Common Bug-type Pokémon, such as Caterpie, Wurmple, or Weedle, can evolve into their cocoons at level 7, and complete their final evolution by level 10!
Therefore, even the least talented Bug-type Pokémon can always evolve.
However, for Sewaddle to complete an evolution, it needs to reach at least level 20.
Although Swadloon's group's strength isn't very strong, Leavanny is quite powerful and can ensure they live leisurely in this forest.
Natsume chatted with Swadloon as they headed toward Swadloon's territory.
"Ralts~"
The figure of Ralts appeared behind Natsume once again.
It sighed with relief while watching Arcanine sniffing around beside Natsume.
It almost got caught by that big dog.
Underground cave.
Bam~
Arbok used Iron Tail to smash through a rock wall blocking Shinichi and Tomoya.
Several Durant quickly scattered from within the rock.
"Let's stop looking and take a break."
Tomoya threw the life scanner onto the ground and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"We've nearly turned over this entire underground area."
"Do you think it's possible that Tyranitar didn't actually hide its egg down here at all?"
Tomoya lamented, "What if it just randomly tossed the egg into the forest?"
"And got eaten by a Pokémon like Arbok that eats eggs?"
Shinichi thought for a moment and replied, "That's impossible!"
"When we encountered that Tyranitar, it took multiple hits just to protect its Pokémon egg."
"It would never just toss its Pokémon egg aside like that."
Tomoya added, "But could it have been picked up by someone else?"
"After all, this commotion has attracted quite a few people."
Shinichi frowned. "If we haven't found it, then what kind of luck do others have?"
"You might as well say it was picked up by other wild Pokémon."
Tomoya paused for a moment. "What did you say?"
Shinichi looked at Tomoya. "I said it could have been taken by other Pokémon."
"Yes, that's it!"
Tomoya jumped up excitedly and started pacing in place. "I remember there were quite a few wild Pokémon attracted around when we were there."
"I think I saw a Zangoose, some Aipom, and Leavanny!"
Tomoya put his hand on Shinichi's shoulder, excitedly exclaiming, "It's Leavanny!"
"Leavanny?"
Shinichi murmured, "Leavanny has a nature that tends to care for weaker Pokémon."
"They even help hatch other Pokémon's eggs. If it was a Leavanny, then it's definitely a possibility!"
Crunch~
A wild Aron suddenly appeared, biting at the life scanner on the ground.
"Oh no, my life scanner!"
Tomoya exclaimed urgently, "Spit it out!"
"Aron~"
Aron quickly clamped its teeth around the life scanner and dashed toward the underground cave.
"What do you care about that piece of junk for?"
Shinichi grabbed Tomoya excitedly. "If we find Tyranitar's Pokémon egg, it would mean financial freedom for us!"
