Pokemon - A real story

The next few days were quite boring for Axel. He didn't have to participate in the battle. Except for Gogoat and the young ones, none of his Pokemons participated in the tide battle.

Because there was no need for them to participate. The commanders were doing a good job and there were no king-rank Pokemons to fight. The remaining Pokemons that came to fight on the following days were all those Pokemons that had a great vendetta against the humans. Most of these wild Pokemons had lost their family members and they just wanted to get revenge even with the cost of their lives.

Because there were no king-rank Pokemons backing them off and no sane Pokemons would risk their life fighting an already lost battle.

The days went on and after 5 days of lackluster battle, the tide battle on the north side was finally over. But that didn't mean that the other side was also done with their job. Actually, Axel and the team were the first ones to finish their battle early.

"Sir, the tide battle is already over. Everyone is expecting you to give some sort of speech today.", said Hector.

All of them were in the meeting including Arbiter and all the commanders.

"Sigh, I hate giving this political speech.", sighed Axel.

"But sir, this is compulsory..."

"I know Ashmita. I know that I need to do it. Tell all of them that today they will rest and tomorrow at 8 a.m they should gather in the hall for the speech."

"I will inform them. Sir, since we are the first to finish the tide battle, other sides who are facing us are actually asking us for aid. What do you think that we should do?", asked Ashmita.

Actually, the other sides had been asking for help since the beginning but they had not sent any help saying that they were busy with their side too. But now, since they had taken care of their tide battle, others were now forcing for help. Of course, they could deny it.

"None of our soldiers will participate in the battle. If any of you are interested in battling them out then you are welcome to participate. I will not sacrifice my soldiers for their benefit.

Also even among you, only Mia, Arbiter, Sam, Jin, Tory, and Krishna are allowed to participate. This is a pro bono work and you guys can refuse if you want. I am not forcing you.

Also, don't choose the south side. Only the east and the west side. Regarding me, if I want to help them, I will not."

Axel was strict in these restrictions. He was not going to let his soldiers who had just won an impossible battle sacrifice themselves. The reason why he chose those 5 was simple. They were the strongest of the commanders that he had because they had a wealth of experience in tide battles.

Of course, others also had experience and at least one tier 2 king-rank Pokemons with them, Axel didn't let them participate due to multiple reasons.

For example, Hector had to be here to do many things. He was the one that Axel trusted the most among the commanders. Alon was a ghost-type specialist and since his specialty was so niche and useful, he didn't want Alon to participate cause fighting at night was a risky job. And for others,

This took a lot of time cause the number of Pokemons that they had killed was in the millions. All of these Pokemons that had died in the battle needed to be recorded. Each of their body parts would be sold including their cores.

This was why the mercenary team business was so profitable. They would also be getting a good sum of money from the city.

"Sir, what about your share of rewards?", asked Ashmita.

"I don't need the money or any rewards. If I need money or any resource, I will take some from the team treasury. Also, please divide the amount of money and resources that we need to give to Arbiter and her team separately.

Ashmita, you are the leader in this project as always. I will check all the details after you have completed the calculations.", said Axel.

The meeting ended shortly over but only for Arbiter. Axel had already sent a private message to each of his core team members to come to the meeting hall after 5 hours. It was around 12 a.m. at night and the meeting would be at 5 a.m. in the morning. There were a lot of things that Axel needed to discuss with them for the future of the mercenary team.

Axel had decided not to help the other side personally because of 2 reasons. First of all, he and his Pokemons were already tired from the tide battle. They were mentally tired after battling for so many days and they needed a good rest.

Secondly, he didn't want to reveal his cards and let them know how good he really was. This was specially for the league as he wanted to hide his powers as much as he could. That was why he told others to not help the south side.

The mercenary team on the south side was also a part of the league. Axel didn't know how close they were to the league but Axel didn't want to take any chances.

For the east and the south side, the soldiers and the commanders that were fighting were under the prince and so they were automatically under the king. Even though Axel didn't trust the king completely, he knew that his capabilities and the capabilities of his team were already shared by Arbiter with the prince because she was a part of the prince's team.

Axel had a lot of things to do right now and he had to plan all of them. A major part of it was the mercenary team. He needs to decide the name of his team as fast as possible.

But right now, it was time to sleep.

Axel didn't want them to come back to the meeting after 5 hours when all of them were tired from the tide battle but this was necessary.

"I know that all of you are tired but we need to do this now. We cannot postpone it anymore.

First of all, I want you guys to gather more members but this would only be done when we officially register with the league. The members that we will recruit must have at least one pseudo-king rank Pokemon. This is the minimum requirement.

Krishna, first of all, how is Blastoise doing?", asked Axel.

"It is doing well and will recover after a week.", replied Krishna.

"Ok, then you are responsible for doing the background check on the new recruits."

Krishna nodded his head and Axel continued.

"The second thing that I want to talk about is evolutions. Magneton, Dusclops, and Electabuzz. All of them could further evolve.", said Axel dropping a bomb in the meeting.

Sam and Kane had Magenton, Alon had Dusclops and Jin had Electabuzz. If they could further evolve, then it would be amazing. They had never seen or even heard about their further evolutions and if any other person was claiming it, none of them would have believed it. But they knew that Axel was a special case.

"You have already seen the evolved form of Dusclops but have not seen others. If you are going to ask how to evolve them, then even I don't know how to do it."

The faces of the commanders immediately went down after hearing it.

"But this is a fact that they could evolve and I have some ideas on how to do it. It will take some time but I will make that happen.

Coming to the third part, I want to ask about the progress of Day care. Krishna, did you find any advanced-level breeder?"

"Yes, I found some of them, and actually 10 of them want to work for us. But they are actually asking for a very high price and they also want a share in the profits. The negotiation is going on but all of them at least want a share in the profits.

They know that we don't have any options."

"Hmm, this is going to be a problem. I don't want to give them any profits. Can't we negotiate even more or find someone else?"

"Yes, this is nonnegotiable for them and even if we were to find other breeders, they will ask for this.", said Krishna.

"Ok, give them a share of the profits. But remember, the profit % should not be higher than 10%. Do remember that.

Now, since all of this has been discussed, the final thing that I want to discuss is the rewards that the prince promised me.", said Axel with a smile.

7 more days had passed. Axel's team had done all the things that Axel had told them to do. After these 7 days, the tide battle was also completed by other sides and now it was finally time for the rewards. Axel had been eagerly waiting for this time for 7 days now.

"Sir, the prince had called us for the meeting before he announced the rewards to the public. We and all the zone commanders are supposed to attend the meeting at 10 a.m. tomorrow.", reported Ashmita.

"Nice, I have been waiting for this for a long time. Ashmita, have you made all the arrangements for tomorrow's meeting?", asked Axel.

"Yes sir. It has been completed."

"Good. Now, you can go and rest. Arbiter, Hector, and Krishna will join me in the meeting."

This time too, Axel and the team were last for the meeting. It was not that they had arrived late but others had come faster than them. But this time, none of them had any fun of Axel, not even Wixwell, the leader of the mercenary team.

Because all of them knew what Axel had achieved. Only 5 deaths. That was just crazy. That was a total death rate of 0.01%. This was actually a record. They were not only surprised by Axel but actually frightened about them.
