Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Attack of the Sea Kings

Charlotte stood at the bow of the ship, gazing at the massive Sea Kings, each over [-] meters in size.

"How could so many Neptunes be attracted here?" Charlotte thought, disbelief etched across her face as she looked at the sea kings in front of her.

"Boss! The Sea Kings are attacking us!"

At the stern, several crew members shouted in terror.

Charlotte furrowed her brow, not wasting a second as she sprinted toward the stern.

A huge tail crashed toward the ship.

Without thinking, Charlotte leapt forward and struck the tail of the Sea King with a powerful punch.

In an instant, a massive hole appeared in the Sea King's tail—Charlotte's punch had done this.

"Moo~!"

The Neptune, which was about ten meters in size with only its head visible, let out a painful scream.

This roar set off a chain reaction.

The seven or eight Sea Kings surrounding Charlotte's ship launched a simultaneous attack.

Charlotte could feel the intense anger of the Neptunes as they closed in, all conveyed through her Observation Haki.

"Damn it! Why can't these Sea Kings just stay at the bottom of the sea?" Charlotte muttered, never imagining that dozens of corpses would draw so many hundred-meter-long Neptunes.

Seeing so many Sea Kings attacking at once, Charlotte's expression grew grim.

"Hold on to the handrails!" she yelled urgently, warning the crew to brace themselves.

Without hesitation, Charlotte plunged into the sea, heading toward the Neptunes.

Stepping on the moonwalk, she dashed across the water!

She reached a Sea King of about 70 meters in length, drew her sword, and swung it with full force. A ten-meter-long flying slash hit the Sea King's head.

"Ho! Ho Ho~!"

The massive slash instantly cut through the Sea King's body, creating a gaping wound from start to finish.

Blood splashed onto the sea.

The injured Neptune writhed in pain, its massive body flailing against the waves.

Seeing the Sea Kings thrashing violently, Charlotte knew she couldn't let them continue. With a surge of Haki, she noticed that someone aboard had fallen into the sea due to the waves.

Without wasting time, Charlotte swung her sword again.

Another ten-meter-long slash struck the wounded Neptune.

This Neptune, which resembled a giant whale, finally ceased resisting.

Charlotte could feel the Neptune's life force fade, its aura vanishing. She didn't hesitate but continued to step on its corpse, heading straight for the fallen crew member.

"Help! Gululu! Help!"

A young crew member had been sucked into the sea by the powerful waves and screamed desperately for help.

Charlotte leapt into the air, landing beside the crew member. Without a moment's delay, she pulled him out of the water and threw him onto the deck.

"Hold onto the handrails! Don't let go! Wait for me to deal with these Neptunes!" Charlotte ordered.

Upon hearing her command, everyone aboard clung tightly to the handrails, nervous but determined.

Meanwhile, due to Charlotte's efforts to save the crew member, the Sea Kings had closed in on the pirate ship.

Charlotte's anxiety grew.

"This ship is the one I've been looking for!"

The ship was still new, and with some modifications, it would make a great vessel, but she couldn't allow it to be destroyed by the Sea Kings.

Charlotte sprinted across the deck and leapt onto the head of the first approaching Sea King, stabbing fiercely with her sword.

The sword energy instantly surged into the Sea King's body, wreaking havoc on its brain.

The relentless sword energy shredded everything in its path, and the Sea King fell.

Without pausing, Charlotte charged toward another Sea King.

The death of two of their companions caused the remaining Neptunes to recognize Charlotte as a significant threat.

Instantly, they stopped surrounding the ship and turned their attention to Charlotte.

Charlotte stood triumphantly on the bodies of the fallen Sea Kings, sword in hand, staring down the remaining Sea Kings.

The two sides were at an impasse.

However, this standoff didn't last long. A massive squid, using its enormous tentacles, lunged at Charlotte.

Charlotte quickly dodged; she didn't want to deal with this [-] meter squid.

If her guess was correct, this squid was the leader of the Sea Kings.

Seeing the squid's movement, the other Neptunes began to act as well.

But this gave Charlotte the opening she needed.

Although the Sea Kings were large, Charlotte, standing at less than two meters tall, was able to use her size to her advantage.

She swiftly leapt across the heads of various Sea Kings, drawing their attacks toward herself while deflecting them.

Every so often, she unleashed a Flying Slash.

In just a few minutes, two more Sea Kings fell to her sword.

"Ow~!"

"Roar~!"

The Sea Kings surrounding Charlotte roared in fury.

However, there were also sounds of fear.

Some of the smaller Sea Kings had already dived back into the ocean, vanishing under Charlotte's Haki.

Only three Sea Kings remained on the surface of the water.

Among them was the squid Neptune.

The sea around them, once chaotic, had eerily calmed.

The three Sea Kings surrounded Charlotte, ready to strike.

Charlotte stood poised, watching, prepared for whatever came next.

The four ships following Charlotte had already been swept far from the battlefield by the waves, and their crews were watching the battle through binoculars.

Charlotte swallowed, a sense of unease creeping over her.

Suddenly, an image flashed in her mind.

Charlotte quickly fled on moonwalk, but at the moment of her movement, the squid facing her unleashed a massive ink spray.

The ink covered the sea, turning the area around her pitch-black within a [-] meter radius.

Charlotte, who had been midair, froze in a cold sweat as she saw the scene unfold.

It wasn't the ink that worried her, but the fact that the squid's ink was corrosive—a detail she hadn't anticipated.

Looking at the Sea King corpses, she noticed the ones that had been hit by the ink had shrunk in size.

"What kind of Neptune is this? It's corrosive… why isn't it in the anime?" Charlotte murmured, shocked.

"Thank goodness I saw that in time, or I might have really been done for today!" Charlotte said, sighing in relief.

Then, anger surged within her.

Fixing her gaze on the giant squid, she raised her hands, ready to strike.

A massive chopping wave, over ten meters long, cut through the air toward the squid.

The squid, unable to evade, raised its tentacles to block.

But the wave sliced through the tentacle, cutting it down the middle in an instant.

"Ang~!"

A high-pitched scream echoed as the squid released a massive burst of ink, which sprayed everywhere.

The two remaining Sea Kings quickly fled in panic.

Charlotte took advantage of the squid's painful wail, leaping through the air. She reached the squid with a swift strike of her sword, cleaving it in half from top to bottom.
