And it's also connected to Zeus—sacred animal being an eagle? A fake name to be with his mother? He's not exactly the best at coming up with names, as demonstrated in the books. And before you say it's kind of stupid, there are reasons that will be explained as the story progresses. His mother isn't as ordinary as you think, either.
As for the Source emulating Qi, if you had knowledge of different types of energies, wouldn't you use the ones you believe to be the strongest to your advantage? I don't get the criticism that it doesn't tie into the story.
It's just an element, not cultivation like in other stories. And I've laid it out in a way that anyone can understand, at least...
