Chapter 50: Chapter 50: I've come to meet him
The dark night had passed, and a bright morning had arrived.
Aurelius awoke to the thick, musky smell that permeated the room. Beside him was Calca, naked and asleep, covered in his semen.
"It's so smooth and silky," Aurelius mused, spending a leisurely moment stroking Calca's blonde hair, when suddenly, a voice rang in his head.
[Aurelius-sama, there is a report that Cocytus has succeeded in subjugating the Lizardmen.]
It was Albedo who always sang a love song only for Aurelius. However, her voice was a little more subdued than usual this time.
[I see. I will congratulate Cocytus separately later. But, Albedo...]
[Yes, Aurelius-sama?]
[You seem to be in a bad mood.]
[Oh, no! There's no way I could feel such a vulgar emotion in front of Aurelius-sama!]
Hearing Albedo's panicked voice, he realized that something was really bothering her.
[Don't try to fool my ears. It seems that you clearly have some troubles.]
[That, that's...]
[Tell me the truth. What is troubling you so much?]
Albedo took a deep breath and carefully began:
[I want to quickly give birth to our child in my belly... Aurelius-sama...]
Her voice grew smaller, almost a whisper at the end.
[Is that why you're in a bad mood?] Aurelius asked with a hint of amusement in his tone.
[I apologize!]
[No need. But you're right, it is time we see our child. I will come to Nazarick as soon as the matter with the Roble Holy Kingdom is resolved. Then I will be with you when you give birth to our child.]
Albedo's face lit up with joy at his words.
[Thank you, Aurelius-Sama, and congratulations! I will continue to serve my husband with all my heart!]
[Be diligent.]
Aurelius responded curtly and disconnected the spell. As he lay there, thinking of his future child, he began to ponder the women he had been with.
"Sooner or later, I'll have to speak to them."
He planned to have the other women give birth to children in turn soon, following Albedo's birth cycle.
It was then, as he was lost in his thoughts...
"Ugh.."
Calca woke up from her slumber, and she reacted to Aurelius's gentle touch.
"Lu, Lucifer-sama...?"
"Calca, are you awake? Good morning,"
"Oh, good morning. Ugh..."
Calca raised her body, but she immediately clutched her lower back when a wave of pain swept through her.
"You worked too hard. Take a good rest today."
"Ah, no. I am the Holy King of the Holy Kingdom. I can't rest recklessly."
Saying that, Calca tried to get out of bed when Aurelius asked.
"I see... But aren't you a divine magic caster? Then, isn't it possible to use healing magic on yourself?"
Aurelius, disguised as an adventurer named Lucifer, couldn't use magic in front of others. As a pure warrior, he couldn't heal Calca.
Moreover, he had no intention of revealing his true identity at the moment.
Many sub-species still roamed the Abelion Hills. They planned to gradually gather more troops and later launch an all-out attack on the Holy Kingdom.
Since Demiurge had already received his command, and since "that" too would most likely be completed by that time, Aurelius decided to reveal his identity around then.
"It's possible. But are you going now?" Calca asked Aurelius with a wry smile.
"I have to go. It feels like I've been away for a long time. It was a pleasant journey, albeit brief. I'll come back when I'm done. It won't take too long."
"It can't be helped... Lucifer-sama is an adventurer from a different country. And now he's also an adamantite-class adventurer," Calca said with a pitying expression, shaking her head.
Aurelius approached her, gently stroking her earlobe. He spoke softly,
"Don't think too negatively. We'll be away for a while. When the time comes, I'll personally come to meet you."
"Really?"
"Yes. Always stay healthy and well. Also, take these; it could be dangerous." Aurelius handed Calca two magic items he retrieved from [Subspace.]
One was the [Specified Summon Scroll], a white scroll.
The other was the [Ring of Negative Protection], a ring studded with beautiful bluish-white diamonds, matching Calca's formal dress she usually wears.
Then Aurelius explained the function of each item in turn.
"To use the Specified Summon Scroll, open and tear the scroll while calling the target's name. In one second, the summoned individual will appear before you... The Ring of Negative Protection not only passively shields you from the negative energy of high-ranking undead, but it's a relic-level item that nullifies up to 10th-tier magic."
"Can I accept such extravagant gifts?" Calca was shocked to hear those descriptions, and she almost lost her composure there.
"It's okay. You are mine from now on. If I can't do this for the woman who will give birth to my child, then I'd stop being her man."
At his words, the sadness in Calca's expression melted away, replaced by a bright smile.
"I will cherish them..."
"I hope you do."
Finally, after everything was done, Aurelius wasted no time; he took Narberal and returned to E-Rantel.
However, as they returned, they were completely unaware of the guest who had appeared in the Holy Kingdom.
******
Leora Ekklesia.
Searching for the clue of her brother, she came to the Roble Holy Kingdom.
But as she moved, she couldn't help but think about him, the man who had always been her hero. He was like a savior, pulling her from the depths of hell.
A dependable figure who had given her courage and confidence.
"I want to bear his child." For him, Leora had even shouted such a sentence fervently at one point in her life.
That was an embarrassing day, but it also made her remember how one day he invited her to play a virtual reality game called Yggdrasil.
She tried it at his urging, exploring the customization options available. Choosing a dragon that appealed to her, she created a being that was the complete opposite of his.
Thus, the Blazing Dragon, Leora Ekklesia, was born.
In fact, Leora was a woman who had lived in the slums since childhood, a creature of the lowest class.
Her father, a man named Abey, would beat her while drunk, and her mother, Ami, would leave her on the streets to beg.
The one who rescued her from this worsening hell was a boy, a little older than her; he was her older brother, Aurelius, who one day came into her life like an angel.
He was the only person she could rely on. For Leora, the warmth of his outstretched hand remained unforgettable.
The feeling of his warm hand was still vivid.
She became his sister, she was not a sibling, not even a stepsister, but she was his sworn sister, or one could even say she was his adopted daughter with how he treated her, spending every day by his side.
One day, they saw a server shutdown notice for Yggdrasil, and Leora was puzzled.
"Brother, what should we do now?"
"Well, we can't do much. It's amazing we've come this far. Shall we spend the last days of this game in Yggdrasil?"
"Good!"
She agreed to his suggestion, but at the last minute, he sent her on an errand, which caused her to log in late.
Leora thought Yggdrasil was about to end.
"No, it's late!"
She logged into Yggdrasil in a hurry. She was meant to meet him with barely a few moments remaining in the countdown, but the loading screen prevented her from even logging in correctly. By the time she logged in…
"Oh, no!"
-00:00:00-
Yggdrasil's server shut-down countdown came to an end.
She couldn't keep her promise to Aurelius. But when she was expecting to be logged out, her vision suddenly shifted, and she found herself standing in an unknown land.
"Where am I? Wasn't I just facing the end of Yggdrasil?"
She felt surprisingly comfortable with the sudden change in her tone, which had altered drastically.
With nothing around but an empty meadow, she realized she had to move first.
"For now, I'll have to move."
Leora took aimless steps until she found his mana remnants.
While searching for him, she arrived at the fortress wall, painted in pure white. Aurelius's energy was cut off here.
When it was already light in the morning, she saw a guard standing at the gate, yawning.
"That's all..."
As she turned her steps toward the guard, he suddenly blushed and hiccupped.
"Hey, what are you doing here?"
"I've come to meet him.".
"Hmm? He who? Huh? Where did she go? Was I dreaming?"
The guard made a surprised expression at the sight of Leora disappearing in front of his eyes.
"Looks like I really need to sleep."
While the guard was mumbling to himself, Leora arrived at the majestic palace, which appeared to be the King's Castle.
She moved in without anyone noticing her, and then inadvertently opened the whitewashed swing doors across the sumptuous hallway.
-creak!
When it opened, Leora saw a beautiful girl sitting with her head down, her long blonde hair beautifully adorned with ornaments.
"Kelart, are you back already?"
The blonde girl, who mistook Leora for Kelart Custodio, was holding what appeared to be papers as she sat at her desk. But at that moment, when the girl raised her head and her eyes met Leora's,
"Huh? Who are you?!"
"I've come to meet him!"
Leora's reply was still the same, but her gaze was fixed on the girl's belly.
She could feel Aurelius's aura emanating from the blonde-haired girl.
