Otaku Witch

Chapter 531: 420. Dance of a Horde of Demons_3

Uninvolved in gambling and prostitution, the Potion Studies School's witch's Servant Army did make Dorothy take a few extra glances, not because they were particularly special, but mainly because the Butterfly People ladies were indeed attractive. Moreover, aside from the Butterfly People, there were even several Serpent People from the Camilla clan, identifiable by their venomous patterns.

"Tsk, this witch with her mixed Servant Army really does like to stick with poison through and through," Dorothy noted.

Then there were the two extraordinary individuals from her own squad her mother had mentioned before: the Star-Burial Lady from the Eternal Pure Land and the Elemental Empress, an appointed primeval witch.

The Star-Burial Lady's servants were an elite hybrid undead squad, including a Headless Knight, Undead Knights, Skeleton Archers, Ghost Mages, and others, making for a fully equipped force.

As for the Elemental Empress...

Dorothy's eyes warmed considerably when she looked over at this neighboring young lady.

Family, ah, we're all genuinely poor, with no other choice.

The Elemental Empress's retinue was an Elf squad, though not the long-eared type, but Elemental Elves of Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, also the signature Servant Army of that senior at the academy, Christina.

It seems the rumor that primeval witches struggle to make ends meet is true, and the senior probably had no other servants to switch to.

As for the other people's Servant Armies, Dorothy initially couldn't even bother to look, but two Angel Witches in the corner of the crowd managed to draw her attention.

First was Miss Ivette, the Vice President known as Skywalker, whose Servant Army turned out to be a group of human Clerics, and judging by their looks, they weren't of low rank. Although they didn't seem like much in a witch's eyes, their combat power was certainly not bad, especially compared to other people's Elves, Orcs, and whatnot.

Indeed, Miss Vice President had to carry on modestly after she brought about the downfall of her own family for the greater good, so she couldn't afford any other Servant Armies. This Cleric squad was probably her original retinue.

The other, wearing a Phoenix mask and glaring at the Vice President, was a newcomer code-named Phoenix.

Actually, she was the Little Angel Phoenix who had been working to redeem her sins.

When Dorothy walked out of the Torture Department, she had casually taken the almost-scared-silly angel with her and handed her over to the Vice President. It was just unfortunate that these two Angel Witches didn't seem to get along very well with each other.

But the Little Angel's Servant Army was impressive; it consisted of real Angels.

Though they appeared to be Low-ranking Angels with dual wings, they were still Angels.

Regardless, the other witches at the moment cast puzzled glances toward Phoenix, who was leading a group of Angels, because no matter how much they had bragged about trading Great Dragons or Succubus for Moon Rabbits earlier, it was merely boasting.

The Three Great Calamity Races might indeed be taken into Servant Armies, but the average witch really couldn't manage it.

Only true powerhouses or those from the Three Kings Clans could accomplish such a feat.

Leaving the real powerhouses aside, those from the Three Kings Clans drew on the blood of The Third King flowing through their veins.

After all, The Third King had once separately ruled over Heaven, the Dragon Realm, and the Abyss. To the three Races, those of the Royal Family's bloodline were practically Prince and Princesses, and for them to follow wasn't an unimaginable affair.

"Tsk, this little one really doesn't learn, daring to be so showy," Dorothy mused as she observed the little angel's lack of concern for hiding her identity. She initially wanted to teach this one a lesson, but thinking about today's mission, she suddenly had a change of heart.

This little one's identity seemed to have some potential utility.

The Homebody Witch pondered with such thoughts.

So, she casually waved to the Little Angel, beckoning her over.

"What do you want? I... I'm not afraid of you," the Little Angel declared, although clearly reluctant due to her previous terrifying experience with Dorothy's Lingering Death in the Torture Department. She eventually came over, yet her refusal to show fear might have been to embolden herself.

"Nothing much, I'm giving you a chance to earn merits here, little one. You surely don't want your mothers worrying over you forever, right? Don't you want to accomplish something that will make them proud?" Dorothy said, squinting her eyes, her tone friendly and pleasant.

"Of course, I do," the moment Phoenix heard this her spirit visibly lifted.

"Then the task of communicating with the Angel Delegation will be yours to handle," the Homebody Witch said, patting the Little Angel's shoulder. She certainly did not fancy handling interactions with a diplomatic corps, given her social anxiety. Now, this ready-made tool was too good not to utilize.

"Ah, this…"

...Phoenix was bewildered...
