Chapter 4: Chapter 4
The next day.
Knight Rebecca and Knight Sasha walked hand in hand in the Temple's vast and beautiful gardens.
"It's so beautiful this time of day." Sasha mentioned.
"I'm noticing some other type of beauty in front of me." Rebecca flirted.
Before Sasha could reply there was a call on her commlink.
"I must go now." Sasha said sadly.
They barely got moments together. And now they were being torn apart again.
They kissed goodbye. Rebecca turned around to face Grandmaster Oren.
"Grandmaster!" She exclaimed. "You surprised me."
"Sorry, Knight Rebecca." Grandmaster Oren smiled then his face took on a serious expression. "We must discuss something of the utmost importance.
A few minutes later they were in the study of Grandmaster Oren.
"He knows too much." Oren said pacing the room.
"Who?" Rebecca asked.
"Arthur." Oren replied. "He must be stopped."
"We'll arrest him. Surely."
"Arresting him won't stop him."
"You surely don't mean we have to kill him?"
"Yes. That is exactly what I mean."

The present era:
Destruction was all around the Temple's grounds. Knight Brooks in his many years of service had never seen such violence before. And he had seen a lot of violence over the years as a Blue Swordfighter.
"Brooks!" Knight Sandra reached him.
Knight Brooks didn't hear her. He was lost in his thoughts.
"Come back to your senses, mate!" Sandra called.
Brooks nodded. "I'm alright, Sandra. Don't worry about me."
Two cyborgs entered their room. One had a heavy laser sword. The other a gatling gun.
"You want to take the one with the gun?" Brooks asked Sandra.
Sandra smiled. "It will be my pleasure."

One Palace Guard had been killed. In this setting, only Harry, the child, and a Palace Guard remained.
Two cyborgs emerged. The Palace Guard swung his electrical staff and quickly disposed of them.
"If you want to run. Make a move now!" Harry warned the child.
"I will not abandon you, Sir!" Nathan the young Blue Swordfighter replied.
"You are too young for this, child." Harry swung his blade and decapitated a laser sword-wielding cyborg.
Nathan cut the ankles of a cyborg, then when it reached the kid's height, he dislodged its head.
"Sir, do you think I could get Knighted for defending the Temple?"
Harry smiled at the joke. "Surely."

Brooks and Sandra had defeated the menacing cyborgs. They were panting but ultimately jubilant about their win.
"Something irks me." Sandra said.
"What is it?" Brooks asked taking deep breaths and calming himself.
"Where is the leader of this group?"

There was a room in the Temple that only Grandmaster Oren had access to.
"Are you sure you want me in there with you?" Master Rebecca asked him.
Oren's eye went through a retina scan. "I would rather have no one else with me."
The large metallic door opened and they walked inside. The room was enormous. It had many books on a variety of shelves. It was also decorated with a pristine touch.
There was a wooden box at the end of the room. Grandmaster Oren walked towards it and then stood in front of it.
"We mustn't let Arthur anywhere near this box." Oren told Rebecca.
Master Rebecca removed the handle of her laser sword from its holster. "He won't get past me."
Suddenly, there was a loud noise. The metallic door was banged. There was another loud bang. And a third. Even Grandmaster Oren had his hand on his sword's hilt now.
The door burst open to reveal a ten-foot cyborg and some normal-sized cyborgs following behind it. Master Rebecca turned on her blue laser sword then proceeded to cut off all the limbs of the colossal robot in a coordinated attack.
She then disposed of the other cyborgs easily.
A clapping sound was heard.
"Well, well." Arthur kept on clapping. "I knew those cyborgs wouldn't be a challenge to you, Rebecca."
"I knew it." Master Rebecca raised her laser sword. "I knew you were behind this attack."
Arthur laughed. "Who else would it be? You lot should be grateful. I'm giving your kind a challenge after all these centuries."
"You're not the original Arthur." Grandmaster Oren said. "How did you find out about this place?"
"I found a place where he had stored his memories before he was unceremoniously killed." Arthur explained.
Oren and Rebecca gasped.
"Just like I know you haven't used your laser sword for two centuries, old man." Arthur said.
He removed his laser sword and proceeded to attack Oren, and even got in front of him in a blink of an eye, but then Rebecca blocked the attack.
"You'll have to get through me first." Rebecca warned.
Arthur took some steps back. "I should've disposed of you when I had the chance. But I couldn't risk you not seeing the end of your kind."
Rebecca charged then she and Arthur exchanged blows. The laser zaps echoed throughout the chamber's walls. The color of blue and red mixing together amidst the shadows of the two figures fighting one another.
Suddenly, Rebecca let out of a scream as Arthur managed to cut off her left hand. Her laser sword fell away from her and then Arthur kneed her in the gut. She was on her knees and Arthur was about to deliver the final blow, when a lightning strike tore through the ceiling and would have landed on Arthur if he hadn't dodged it at the last minute.
"Finally." Arthur said raising his red laser sword.
There was a lightning-like flash in Grandmaster Oren's eyes as he held tightly on to his yellow laser sword.
"Enough!" Grandmaster Oren exclaimed.
A lightning bolt replaced where he stood and then Oren landed in front of Arthur. The Red Swordfighter blocked the attack.
"This is the Yellow Swordfighter's power?!" Arthur shouted. "I must have it."
There were loud bangs of lightning as Oren's laser sword emitted lightning strikes when struck against Arthur's red laser sword. Oren raised his hand and a bolt of electricity was thrown out. Arthur blocked it with his laser sword but he felt that he had met his match. The electricity kept pouring out of Oren's hand and Arthur was being pushed back. He angrily stuck his feet in the ground so strongly that his feet got stuck in the cement.
Arthur who was frowning and on the brink of defeat then smiled which caught Oren off guard. He tilted his sword and the move deflected his laser sword towards Rebecca who was sitting up on the ground holding her left arm.
Oren then rushed to move Rebecca out of the way, and successfully did so, and then he was struck by Arthur's red laser sword right in the gut.

Master Rebecca let out a shriek as Grandmaster Oren fell to the ground. In her many years as a Blue Swordfighter she never thought that the Grandmaster could be bested in combat. In this scenario, he had sacrificed himself for her sake.
Arthur proceeded to the wooden box containing the Artefact. Rebecca rushed to Oren's side.
"Grandmaster-"
"You must take this." Oren interrupted and handed Rebecca his laser sword.
"But Grandmaster I'm not strong enough to wield your sword." Rebecca told him.
"You are." Grandmaster Oren smiled. "You always have been."
***
Many decades earlier.
Knight Rebecca fought with all her might in the training room. But she could not best the three remaining cyborgs in combat. The simulation was thankfully over as she fell down on her backside.
Grandmaster Oren laughed revealing that he had been watching her fight.
Rebecca was visibly annoyed. "If only I had a special ability."
"You already have one." Oren said.
"But I'm just a Knight. How do you see potential inside of me?"
"Because it is not the crystal in our swords that matters but the core in our hearts."
***
The present day.
Master Rebecca grabbed hold of the laser sword. She felt an energy that she had never felt before. It ran through her veins. Lighting broke through the ceiling and entered her body. She was unhurt. In fact, she was powered up.
Arthur turned around at the sound of thunder clapping.
"Well, well." He said. "You have the Yellow Light now?"
"Yes." Rebecca answered.
The lightning rang in her eyes. She was not going to let the Grandmaster's death be in vain.
She charged and a lightning burst replaced where she was standing. She instantaneously appeared before Arthur and kicked him into the wall towards the side.
Arthur came out of the wall immediately.
"I forgot that your super strength has doubled." Arthur said wiping his mouth with his arm. "But my powers have also increased from the last time we met."
He instantaneously appeared before her and their swords swung against each other.
They were pushing each other but it became clear that Arthur was stronger. Rebecca might have gained the Yellow Light but she had not mastered it over centuries like Grandmaster Oren had done. Arthur pushed her back and then rammed his sword into the ground. The ground gave way to a shockwave hurtling towards Rebecca but she got out of the way.
"Even if you somehow defeat me." Arthur said raising his sword's tip at her. "I have instructed my army to destroy the Temple. Nothing will be left but ash."
And at that exact moment, it felt like an earthquake. But it was actually the attacks on the walls from outside by many ten-foot cyborgs. The building was about to come down.
Master Rebecca knew she couldn't defeat Arthur before the place's demise. She looked at the wooden box containing the Artefact then ran towards it. But Arthur appeared in front of her in an instant and kicked her towards the wall.
The last thing she remembered before blacking out was Arthur opening the box.
