Only I Walk Alone

In the fiftieth year of exploring the four-dimensional world, a strange type of four-dimensional creature appeared, which they called the Four-Dimensional Decomposer.

These creatures began to devour and decompose the dead body of Sugro, the giant four-dimensional being, much like decomposers in the three-dimensional world.

In the three-dimensional world, a Four-Dimensional Decomposer is about the size of an elephant, but in the four-dimensional world, it is as large as a hundred elephants combined.

These creatures are not intelligent; they act purely on instinct and attack when they encounter Wu Ge and his team.

Ordinary sect elders and knights could not handle these Four-Dimensional Decomposers; only Wu Ge and Fox Immortal could.

That day, as usual, Wu Ge and Fox Immortal began clearing the Four-Dimensional Decomposers near the four-dimensional research institute. These creatures were huge but slow-moving and lacked any strategic or tactical understanding. They simply detected Sugro’s corpse and drifted towards it.

Such Four-Dimensional Decomposers were densely covering the surface of Sugro’s corpse, continuously decomposing it much like bacteria decompose a human corpse, albeit at a very slow pace. A group of devout followers again shouted, “The glory of the Supreme God lives forever!”

After dealing with this Four-Dimensional Decomposer, Wu Ge used a four-dimensional space bag to pack it up, allowing parts of the decomposer’s trunk to be transported to the three-dimensional world.

After Wu Ge left, a group of fanatics started shouting again, seeing the descent of the true god as a tremendous honor for them.

Four-dimensional beings cannot travel to the three-dimensional world, just as three-dimensional beings cannot go to a two-dimensional world because a higher dimension adds an extra dimension. Just as a creature with length, width, and height cannot go to two dimensions because two dimensions lack height unless it undergoes a dimensional reduction.

However, three-dimensional beings can travel to the four-dimensional world because the four-dimensional space already includes the three dimensions of length, width, and height. But beings with only three dimensions appear very small in the four-dimensional world, even smaller than the Four-Dimensional Decomposers.

Similarly, it is difficult for three-dimensional beings to find the energy they need in the four-dimensional world, just as the Earth, rich in species and resources in the three-dimensional world, is merely a barren land.

After handing over the Four-Dimensional Decomposer’s body contained in a four-dimensional space bag to a four-dimensional robot, Wu Ge and the Fox Immortal sat amid a myriad of colorful lights discussing their next plans.

Wu Ge took out food and drink from a small four-dimensional pocket, which is akin to the space bags, space bottles, and storage rings mentioned in some ancient texts.

Because it is a four-dimensional creation, what appears as only ten cubic meters of space from a three-dimensional perspective actually contains a hundred cubic meters or even more space in four dimensions.
