Chapter 11: Hunter on earth (The 100)
The sound of roaring metal jolted him awake. Isaac blinked rapidly, his vision blurry, the cacophony of shouting voices and the shriek of old machinery surrounding him. He was strapped into a seat, the harness digging into his chest. Panic surged through him as his disoriented mind struggled to make sense of the chaos.
And then it hit him.
No way... no freaking way.
This was the 100. He knew this scene—the confined dropship, the flashing red lights, the terrified teens around him. This was the opening moment of the show he'd binge-watched during lockdown. But how? He was just... in his room, wasn't he?
A voice crackled through the speakers: "You are the expendable."
Isaac's stomach lurched as the ship jolted violently. The dropship was descending to Earth. This was real. This wasn't some vivid dream. He was here, in The 100.
And I'm going to die if I don't figure out what the hell is going on.
The seatbelt released with a hiss as the dropship landed. Isaac stumbled into the open air, the scent of damp earth and pine overwhelming him. Around him, the others were cheering, laughing, or looking equally panicked. He recognized faces—Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia. This was insane.
And then the voice echoed in his mind, sharp and distinct, cutting through the noise like a blade.
[System Activated: Hunter Protocol Initialized.]
Welcome, User. Objective: Survive. Thrive. Conquer.
Isaac froze. "What the hell?" he muttered under his breath.
You have been granted the Hunter System. Adaptation to environment in progress. Initializing abilities... Complete.
Before he could fully process what was happening, a screen appeared in his vision, glowing faintly like a hologram.

Isaac stared, dumbfounded. He'd read fanfiction about this kind of stuff—overpowered systems and second chances—but actually living it? This was surreal.
"Hey, new guy!" Jasper's voice snapped him out of it. "You coming, or what?"
Isaac nodded quickly, falling in line with the others as they began exploring. His mind raced. This system wasn't just a blessing—it was a game-changer. He knew what was coming: Grounders, Reapers, radiation. The others didn't stand a chance without help.
As the group stumbled through the forest, Isaac's newly enhanced senses kicked in. The faint rustling of leaves, the distant sound of running water, the sharp tang of something metallic in the air—it was all overwhelming at first but quickly became manageable.
Quest Triggered:
Eliminate immediate threat (Reward: Skill Upgrade - Silent Movement).
Isaac stopped, narrowing his eyes. There was movement ahead—too deliberate to be an animal. A Grounder scout? Already?
"Wait," he said, his voice steady but firm. "Something's out there."
Bellamy sneered. "And who made you leader?"
Isaac ignored him. He'd seen how Bellamy's bravado often got people killed. Instead, he focused on his instincts, activating Hunter's Mark. A faint glowing outline appeared ahead, moving stealthily through the underbrush.
"Stay here," Isaac said, slipping into the shadows.
The Grounder didn't see him coming.
With Camouflage active, Isaac moved like a ghost, closing the distance in moments. His enhanced reflexes made it easy to dodge the Grounder's knife, and his instincts guided his counterattack. He grabbed a fallen branch, striking with precision.
The Grounder fell unconscious, and Isaac dragged him back to the group, tossing the body at Bellamy's feet.
"Still think I'm not worth listening to?" Isaac said coldly.
Bellamy stared, speechless, as the others looked at Isaac with a mix of awe and fear.
Over the next few days, Isaac's influence grew. He used his knowledge of the show to prepare for the challenges ahead, building traps, organizing patrols, and earning the trust of key players like Clarke and Monty.
His system continued to evolve, granting him new skills and perks as he completed quests. By the time the Grounders launched their first attack, Isaac was ready. Armed with weapons he'd crafted using the system's blueprints, he led the group to a decisive victory, earning their unwavering loyalty.
But as his power grew, so did the weight of responsibility. Isaac knew the dangers of being seen as a threat—not just by the Grounders, but by his own people. The system's final quest loomed ominously in his interface:
[Endgame Quest Unlocked: Establish the Hunter's Dominion]
Objective: Rule or perish.
Isaac stared at the glowing text, his fists clenched. He'd been given the tools to survive, but at what cost? Would he become a hero—or the next tyrant?
For now, he had only one goal: survive. But deep down, he knew the system would demand more.
