One Piece: Pirate King? I just want to kill all of you

Chapter 8: Saved by Me and Still Trying to Run? Not That Easy!

Torrega saw how naturally the other party answered and immediately gave up on asking further questions.

But he had no intention of surrendering either. His hands trembled slightly as he slowly raised them.

Clearly, he was preparing to continue his counterattack.

Seeing this, Will had no plans to waste any more time. He swiftly lifted his leg and launched a high-speed kick!

Tempest Kick: Instant Slash!

Torrega, struggling to hold himself up, had no chance to react.

All he saw was a faint blue afterimage flash before his eyes before a crescent-shaped slash struck his chest in an instant.

The sheer impact made his eyes bulge in shock, and even his sturdy chainmail armor was slashed apart, exposing more vulnerable gaps in his defenses.

Will didn't let up. Seizing the momentum, he closed in.

Raising both hands, he began a rapid assault with his index fingers!

Finger Gun: Starfall!

In the next instant—

Will's arms became a blur.

His two fingers, like a barrage of bullets, relentlessly pierced through the gaps in Torrega's armor, striking his body with pinpoint accuracy.

Under the onslaught of rapid strikes, Torrega's entire body trembled uncontrollably, as if electrocuted. Blood continuously trickled from the corners of his mouth.

At this moment, he was nothing more than a lifeless puppet, unable to resist at all.

After dozens of strikes in mere seconds—

Will suddenly stopped, withdrawing his hands and stepping aside, watching the broken body before him with a calm expression.

Torrega stood rigidly in place.

Blood gushed from the numerous puncture wounds riddling his body.

He barely lasted two seconds before his knees buckled, and he collapsed powerlessly to the ground.

Shivering, he forced himself to lift his head.

Looking up at the man who was about to end his life, Torrega's lips quivered as if he still wanted to say something.

Finger Gun!

But Will had no interest in hearing any last words. He abruptly extended two fingers, forming a blur as they struck Torrega's throat with lightning speed.

The motion was clean and decisive.

"You seem like you have something to say, but never mind—I don't feel like listening."

"Rest easy. I'll make good use of all the treasures you've left behind."

Torrega instinctively used the last of his strength to clutch his throat.

His bloodshot eyes widened, staring up at Will with an expression twisted in fury and unwillingness.

"Damn it... This is... so unfair..."

"Out on the sea... there are still so many... treasures... I haven't... gotten..."

As death loomed over him, his mind overflowed with memories, unable to let go of his obsession with treasure.

But no matter how hard he pressed against the wound, he couldn't stop the blood from seeping through his fingers.

In the end, Torrega collapsed lifelessly to the ground.

His eyes remained wide open, his face filled with resentment, never to move again.

With Torrega taken care of—

Will didn't spare a single moment to mourn. Instead, he immediately began analyzing and summarizing the battle.

"Without using Haki and relying solely on the Six Powers martial arts…"

"An ability user of Torrega's level poses no real threat to me."

"It seems that, given my current overall strength, I should have no trouble in the East Blue."

On the side, Nami and Karina, seeing Torrega's brutal defeat, quietly let out a sigh of relief.

They turned their gaze to Will.

Both noticed that he stood there silently, lost in thought.

Exchanging a glance, they instinctively turned away at the same time, moving stealthily, trying to slip away unnoticed.

From what they had heard—

The man who saved them was unlikely to be a Marine.

He also didn't have the typical air of a pirate, meaning he was most likely a lone bounty hunter.

But his ruthless decisiveness in battle—

Made Nami and Karina reluctant to believe he was just a good Samaritan.

Perhaps he had some other motive for saving them.

So, upon spotting a chance to escape—

Neither hesitated to make a break for it.

Will, who was about to check his system panel, immediately noticed their attempt and turned his head, speaking in a serious tone:

"Saved by me and still trying to run? Not that easy!"

As soon as the words left his mouth—

Will vanished from where he stood.

In an instant, he reappeared behind the two women, who had only taken a few steps in their escape attempt.

He placed his hands firmly on their shoulders.

Feeling the warmth of his palms on their shoulders—

Nami and Karina instantly broke out in a cold sweat. Their careful expressions froze in place.

Seeing the large shadow cast over them from behind, neither dared to move a muscle.

After a few seconds—

Realizing there was no point in resisting, the two women gave up on running, turning slightly to the side and putting on their sweetest smiles.

Seeing how quickly they adapted, Will withdrew his hands, no longer pressuring them.

Noticing that he didn't seem to harbor ill intentions—

Karina gradually regained her composure and curiously asked:

"Um… our savior, can I ask why?"

"After learning who we are, why did you still choose to save us?"

"Who you are?" Will looked puzzled. "You mean… thieves?"

Karina nodded slightly, and Nami also looked over with curiosity.

Neither of them tried to deny it.

After all, Will clearly wasn't some gullible fool.

Trying to deceive him now would be like gambling with their own lives.

Both Karina and Nami, who had been navigating the seas for years, knew better than to do something so foolish.

"Why..."

Will pondered for a moment before answering bluntly:

"Because neither of you give me the impression of being pirates."

"And since you managed to evade so many pursuers and escape to this island, your navigation skills must be quite impressive."

"That happens to be exactly what I need right now."

"I'm about to set sail on a long voyage, so I need to find a reliable navigator."

Hearing this—

Karina's eyes lit up. She immediately stepped back, placed her hands on Nami's shoulders, and flashed a sweet smile:

"Ooh~ then you've found the right person! Nami here is an incredibly skilled navigator!"

"Of all the people I've met, I haven't seen anyone with more experience at sea than her!"

Nami's eye twitched at that, gritting her teeth in frustration:

"Damn it, you sly fox…"

"Ehehehe." Karina giggled, covering her mouth before taking a few steps back.

"Since our savior has found his navigator, I, a useless extra, will take my leave now."

"Thanks for saving us, and I wish you both a great journey ahead~."

With that, she quickly turned to leave, afraid that Will might decide to keep her as well.
