One Piece: Pirate King? I just want to kill all of you

Chapter 11: Bring the Ship Closer!

The next day.

Once the ship resumed normal sailing, Nami steered while casually asking,

"By the way, Will, where are you planning to go now?"

Sitting nearby, Will gazed out the window at the rolling waves and replied,

"Doesn't matter. Anywhere is fine."

"Right now, I just want to find strong opponents to fight."

"Wherever you think there's a formidable guy, we'll head there."

Hearing this, a thoughtful look flashed in Nami's eyes. After a brief moment of contemplation, she suggested,

"I know a place—a nearby port town that was recently taken over by a pirate crew."

"Rumor has it that their captain possesses some kind of strange ability."

"He might even be a Devil Fruit user."

She said this intentionally, hoping to pique Will's interest and get his approval to head there.

Meanwhile, Karina, who had been carefully examining intelligence documents retrieved from the captain's quarters, immediately recognized the location Nami was referring to. She glanced over with an amused expression but remained silent, merely watching Nami with a hint of playfulness in her eyes.

Will, however, paid no mind to their exchange. He grabbed the bottle of sherry on the table, took a few sips, and said with intrigue,

"Hmm? Another Devil Fruit user?"

"Alright, let's go there."

"I just hope this guy is strong enough to satisfy me."

"Aye, Captain." Nami responded with a smile before turning back to steer the ship, though her gaze flickered with uncertainty.

--

The next morning.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast prepared by Nami and Karina, the three continued sailing for some time before finally spotting the coastline and harbor.

"We're here. Bring the ship closer!"

Will's eyes gleamed with anticipation as he turned to Nami at the helm.

"Aye, Captain." Nami replied cheerfully.

Once the ship docked at the port, Will lowered the gangplank and took the lead, stepping onto the town's ground. Nami and Karina followed closely behind.

The town was eerily quiet, its streets devoid of people.

Will frowned slightly and turned his gaze to the side, where another ship was docked—a pirate ship with an unmistakable and rather peculiar appearance.

This vessel was quite large, with a pirate flag displaying a red-nosed clown skull. The overall design resembled a floating circus, exuding an air of both absurdity and menace.

The three of them stood in place, quietly observing their surroundings.

After a moment, Karina couldn't help but ask in confusion,

"Where is everyone? Why isn't there a single person in sight?"

Nami, having already investigated the area beforehand, promptly explained,

"This place is called Orange Town. Recently, it was taken over by the Buggy Pirates."

She pointed to the eccentric-looking ship nearby.

"That should be their ship."

"As for the town's original residents…"

"It seems they all fled to a shelter outside the town before the pirates arrived, which is why it looks so deserted."

Despite Nami's explanation, Karina still found it odd.

"Then where are the Buggy Pirates? Why don't we see any of them?"

"Would they really be so careless? After taking over a town, wouldn't they leave guards at the port and their ship?"

"That, I don't know."

Nami folded her arms and shook her head slightly, equally puzzled.

"All I know is that the Buggy Pirates should still be in this town somewhere."

"But their exact location? I'm not sure."

Wanting to further intrigue Will, Nami added,

"Oh, by the way, Will, I happened to come across an interesting piece of intel."

"It's said that Captain Buggy of the Buggy Pirates might possess a map of the Grand Line."

"If you plan to head there in the future, I think this map could be quite useful."

After hearing this, Will finally understood—

The so-called Devil Fruit user Nami had mentioned earlier was none other than Buggy the Clown.

Thinking about it now…

Buggy was indeed the highest-bounty Devil Fruit user in the East Blue.

But that was only because Devil Fruit users were extremely rare in these waters.

Compared to pirates from other seas, the overall strength of those in the East Blue was significantly lower.

And yet—who would have thought?

That same Buggy, who often seemed like nothing more than a comic relief character, would one day rise to become one of the Four Emperors of the Sea.

Perhaps it was all thanks to his inexplicable luck.

Time and again, Buggy found himself in perilous situations, only to miraculously escape unscathed—and often, he would even gain something from it.

As for Buggy's actual strength, Will had no interest in making baseless guesses.

He would simply find the man and test him in battle firsthand.

Karina, noticing Will deep in thought, quickly spoke up, adding what she knew,

"Captain Buggy of the Buggy Pirates—I've done some research on him."

"He has a strong fondness for cannons."

"There's a rumor that, once, in a certain town, a child made fun of his nose, and in response, Buggy blew up the entire town with his cannons."

"There are also reports that he possesses a bizarre ability—he can disassemble his body and attack at will."

"So, as Nami speculated, it's highly likely that Buggy is indeed a Devil Fruit user."

"As for the Grand Line map, I'm not too sure."

"But based on what I've gathered, Buggy has been to the Grand Line before."

"So it wouldn't be surprising if he does have a map."

Will listened quietly, then, after a brief moment of contemplation, said,

"A Devil Fruit user and a Grand Line map."

"We'll deal with those after we find Buggy."

"I just hope he's stronger than I expect."

With that, he stopped lingering and began walking toward the heart of the town.

Seeing Will take the lead, Nami and Karina quickly followed, both looking rather relaxed.

After witnessing Will's overwhelming strength firsthand—when he effortlessly crushed Torrega—they had no doubts.

Even if Buggy was a Devil Fruit user, with only a bounty of 15 million berries, he wouldn't stand a chance against Will.
