One Piece: Marine Luffy, Garp regrets it

"What?! Amazon Lily! Is there really such a place in the world?"

"Hey, explain this clearly. Are you saying they all know Haki? Are you kidding me?"

"Yes, yes. If that's really true, we still have a shot at victory."

Seeing the disbelief in his companions' faces, the man quickly recounted everything he knew, leaving no detail spared.

His companions reacted with a mixture of astonishment and newfound excitement.

Soon, the news spread like wildfire—from one person to ten, from ten to a hundred, passing from mouth to mouth, feeding into the growing anticipation. Before long, nearly every marine in the branch knew about it, and their morale soared to new heights.

Coincidentally overhearing his soldiers' fervent discussions, Kibin pieced together the mystery of where these fierce female warriors under Luffy's command originated. Only now did he realize why the masked woman who was always by Luffy's side had struck him with a strange sense of familiarity. Reflecting on it, he suddenly saw it clearly—wasn't she none other than the Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea?!

Understanding this, he clenched his fists in excitement, whispering with unrestrained joy, "This is incredible! The Pirate Empress and Rear Admiral Luffy are here to support us. If only the three All-Stars aren't together, or Kaido doesn't show up himself, we can hold out today!"

Luffy, however, didn't catch his muttering beside him.

If he had, he would have stomped over with a broad, exasperated slap, gripping Kibin's collar to scold him with a sharp retort. You're a Marine in the New World—how weak is your courage?

Luffy held an unshakable confidence that he and his troops could tackle any of the All-Stars head-on!

The tense preparations persisted through the afternoon. During this time, reconnaissance ships relayed reports on the Beast Pirates' movements back to the branch.

At the same moment, they also confirmed that the one leading the attack was none other than Jack, the Drought—a freshly promoted All-Star. This news allowed Kibin a moment of relief, his heart finally settling.

Luffy, too, felt a surge of exhilaration upon hearing that it was the infamous Jack, the reckless brute, leading the assault. Of course! It made sense why someone would dare launch a bold attack on G2 branch, the station of Garp himself. If it was Jack, it all added up.

After all, here was a guy audacious enough to face off against Sengoku, Tsuru, and a future admiral in a single standoff, going down in One Piece history with the line: "Who do you think I am? Pull the ship over." Fans have recounted and relished that line for years.

"Haha, this will be much easier with that hot-headed fool in charge."

Luffy turned to his companions. "Hancock, Kalifa, you just need to support the others. That big oaf is mine."

Hancock, although well aware of Luffy's immense strength, couldn't completely hide her worry.

"Luffy, he's one of the highest-ranking officers under the Four Emperors. Let me go with you."

Luffy shook his head, rejecting her offer with a quiet yet determined look as his gaze drifted to the gradually growing black dot on the horizon. He slowly allowed a smirk to cross his lips, his eyes lit with excitement.

"Let me have this one. I haven't gone all out in a long time, and I need an opponent like this to test where my strength stands."

Seeing his eagerness, Hancock held back her words of caution just as they reached her lips. Reluctantly, she wrapped her arms around him, gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, and whispered, "Be careful. I want to spend more time with you tonight."

Luffy's eyes sparkled with mischief as he grinned and teased, "Well, look who's addicted now! Alright, wait for me—I'll have something new to show you tonight."

After saying this, he nodded at Kalifa, advising her to stay cautious, then quickly headed toward the coast.

Hancock watched his retreating figure, her gaze lingering with a blend of concern and admiration. After a few minutes, she turned away reluctantly, raising her chin to Kalifa with a silent command to follow her, and walked away.

Just then, an urgent male voice blared over the radio.

"It's the Beasts Pirates! The Beasts Pirates are approaching! Everyone, get ready!"

Without another word, the marines concealed in the shore fortifications sprang into action, weapons poised, waiting with steely determination for the enemy to come within range. Their plan was clear: let the enemy draw near, then unleash a powerful wave of artillery to obliterate their ships.

Meanwhile, Luffy, stationed at one of the defensive posts, used his Den Den Mushi to contact his crew aboard the Stormbreaker, hidden high above in the clouds over 1,600 meters away.

"Coordinate with the base's attack; fire when they do," he instructed. "With any luck, we'll send that idiot Jack to the depths of the sea."

As the enemy ship closed to about 3,000 meters from the base, Kibin took a deep breath, then gave the decisive command for the coastal defense artillery to unleash their firepower.

Simultaneously, twelve triple-barreled cannons along the northern shore launched a fierce barrage toward the approaching Beasts Pirates. The seven warships circling the island tightened their formation and joined in, creating a semicircle around the enemy as they unleashed round after round of heavy artillery fire.

In the clouds above, Usopp observed the scene through his high-powered telescope, eyes wide with excitement.

"Wow! Finally, it's my turn to jump in on the action!"
