One Piece: I Have a Billion Skill Points

Chapter 22: Chapter 22

Bang!

Ron slashed down, carefully controlling the force. The force was surprisingly light, and he aimed it at Klahadore's head, but his attack was swiftly blocked by a pair of steel claws.

"Huh?"

"Klahadore!"

"Butler..."

Kaya's family and their servants gazed at Klahadore with shock on their faces. They had never expected Klahadore to possess such power. What was going on with those sharp claws? Could he really be Captain Kuro mentioned by the teenager across from them?

"Boy, since you're seeking death, I will oblige," Klahadore's face darkened, his eyes devoid of emotion as he fixed his gaze on Ron. He declared, "How dare you sabotage my plans, you cursed lot. I shall dismember your corpse!"

"Haha, I knew it! You must be Captain Kuro!"

Ron immediately laughed, skillfully wielding his long sword to defend against Klahadore's attacks. He also addressed Kaya's family, saying, "This guy's name is Kuro. He's the captain of a ruthless pirate crew. Over a year ago, when I wasn't around, he sneaked onto my ship and killed many of my brothers. I found it hard to believe the news of his execution by the navy. But after extensive inquiries and careful exploration, I finally discovered his plan. He had actually faked his death and hid here. He's a cunning fellow, and he's been lurking in your house for quite some time. There must be a sinister plan behind it, and now it seems that's indeed the case!"

Hearing this, the family, already shaken, turned to Klahadore in horror. Kaya's father exclaimed, "Klahadore, is this true? Are you really the captain of a pirate crew?"

"Hehe..." Klahadore, realizing he could no longer conceal the truth, grew angry. He smiled darkly and replied, "Yes, I am Captain Kuro. I've been lurking in your house, waiting for the opportunity to eliminate your family and seize all your wealth. I can't believe it; I've been exposed by this blasted intruder. What a shame!"

"Klahadore, you... You're truly a pirate, and you were plotting to take over our family's estate!" Kaya's father was horrified. He had never imagined that Klahadore, who had been living here for over a year, was such a person. He dreaded the thought of their family coexisting with a ruthless pirate for so long, one who had always harbored sinister intentions toward them. It was too terrifying!

Seeing this unfolding scene, Kaya immediately sought refuge behind her parents, her eyes filled with fear as she gazed upon the now ferocious Klahadore. It was unexpected that he had intended to harm her family all along.

"The butler... The butler turned out to be a pirate..." The other servants observed the enraged and menacing Klahadore with fear in their eyes. Based on his recent confession, they understood that he had been hiding in the manor with the aim of eliminating Kaya's family. If he succeeded, the servants would meet the same fate.

In his heart, Ron no longer wished to engage in a protracted confrontation with kuro. Now that he had exposed Klahadore's true identity, his objective had been accomplished. It was time to end this!

Ron brandished his long sword, ready to retaliate, but just then, Klahadore suddenly leaped backward, eluding Ron's strike. He swiftly charged toward the family.

"Oh? Your quite clever!" Ron noted with a slight smile. This pirate captain was showing his cunning; he had realized that a prolonged battle was futile, and it would be difficult to defeat Ron quickly. Perhaps he believed his own strength was far superior. So, he immediately shifted his focus to taking Kaya's family hostage.

Indeed, Klahadore's agile figure reached the family of 3 with incredible speed. He seemed to employ some special footwork. Ron couldn't recall this ability from the original plot, but the speed was certainly impressive.

"You won't harm anyone while I'm here!" Ron remained composed, then muttered, "Swift Wind!" His figure vanished in an instant.

Klahadore's figure appeared before the family of 3 like lightning. His face displayed a ruthless intent, and he reached for them with a sinister grin.

Kaya's parents wore expressions of despair. They lacked the strength to escape Klahadore's assault and couldn't even shield Kaya. A trace of fear marred Kaya's lovely face, the natural response to a life-threatening crisis.

"Don't frighten this beautiful, innocent girl, Kuro!"

An indifferent voice echoed in Kuro's ears. Suddenly, he found himself soaring into the air, disoriented and perplexed. Out of the corner of his eye, he glimpsed a familiar, headless figure, it was his own body!
