In the bustling Gyoncorde Plaza, chaos erupted as the signature collection box was suddenly engulfed in flames.

"Quick! Get water to put out the fire! Protect the signatures!"

"These papers carry everyone's hopes and dreams—they represent the future of Fish-Man Island!"

Amidst Queen Otohime's desperate cries, the royal guards focused on extinguishing the flames consuming the box, momentarily neglecting their vigilant protection of the queen herself.

Bang!

Queen Otohime froze, staring in disbelief at the wound on her chest. A trickle of blood dripped from the corner of her mouth.

She had been shot—an assassin's sniper bullet found its mark.

Despite her extraordinary observational Haki, renowned even among the world's elite, her concentration was broken by the fire, leaving her vulnerable to the attack.

"I... this is..."

Her strength faded as she collapsed onto the ground, her fall accompanied by the horrified screams of the surrounding crowd.

"Queen Otohime has been shot!"

"The sniper must be nearby! Protect the royal family immediately!"

Among the onlookers was Jinbe, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and a battle-hardened warrior. His swift and decisive commands restored order amidst the chaos.

"Mother!"

"Mother, no!"

The Gyoncorde Plaza descended into pandemonium. The three princes raced to their mother's side, while the young Princess Shirahoshi, too shocked to move, stood frozen in place.

Grief, fear, anger, and hatred consumed the hearts of the princes.

"No matter who the culprit is... do not let rage consume you because of me," Queen Otohime whispered weakly.

"Do not let anger and hatred swallow your hearts for my sake."

Her words brought tears to the eyes of her sons, and the previously catatonic Shirahoshi began to sob uncontrollably, tears streaming like rivers.

An unseen force—something palpable yet unmeasurable—began to emanate from the young mermaid princess. The waves of her emotions rippled outward, filling the plaza.

"Shirahoshi, calm yourself..." Queen Otohime said with great difficulty.

But the young Shirahoshi, shaken to her core, was unable to control her emotions. Her cries turned into wails, her sorrow cascading outward in a tsunami of grief.

The entirety of Fish-Man Island began to tremble. The princes, snapping out of their sorrow, recalled their mother's warnings:

"If Shirahoshi ever experiences a shock like the one before..."

The words echoed in their minds. Shirahoshi was the first mermaid in 800 years with the ability to communicate with the Sea Kings—a legend reborn.

As Queen Otohime's life slipped away, she felt a faint warmth radiating from the golden pendant around her neck. It was a gift—a "little token" from a friend she had made in the human world: Vice Admiral Wright.

"This... warmth..."

Shark Prince, the eldest of the three brothers, noticed the golden pendant glowing softly. Startled, he stopped his brothers from continuing their frantic attempts to comfort Shirahoshi.

"Shirahoshi! Look! Mother!" he shouted.

Shirahoshi, startled by her brother's cry, suppressed her sobs and looked toward her mother.

In the midst of the crowd, amidst the crying royals and frantic guards, a soft golden light emanated from the pendant around Queen Otohime's neck.

The pendant, ever so slightly aglow, had attracted attention ever since Queen Otohime returned from the human world.

It was during her travels there that she met Vice Admiral Wright, who possessed an ability to perceive the hearts of others. He had gifted her the pendant, saying it could protect her in moments of peril.

Though skeptical of its utility, Queen Otohime had treated it as a kind gesture, never imagining its true significance.

But Jinbe, standing nearby, knew better. He had heard rumors of Vice Admiral Wright—a Marine said to possess rare healing abilities. Among the Marines' most closely guarded secrets were items of immense strategic value, capable of miraculous feats.

"So, it's true..." Jinbe muttered, watching in awe as the golden crystal's light seeped into Queen Otohime's wound. The bleeding slowed, and color returned faintly to her face.

"Quick! Summon the medical team!"

The right minister, realizing the pendant's power could only stabilize the queen temporarily, ordered immediate medical attention.

The crystal's magic, it seemed, was meant to buy precious time for treatment—not to perform miracles outright.

Suddenly, Jinbe's keen Haki flared. His senses sharpened as a golden streak descended from the sky.

A voice followed, calm and assured:

"Yo, Jinbe! Nice to meet you!

"But first, let me take a look at Her Majesty's condition, shall I?"

Jinbe turned to face the newcomer, his eyes widening in recognition.

"Vice Admiral Wright!"

Though puzzled by Wright's unexpected appearance, Jinbe wasted no time.

"Vice Admiral Wright, I leave her to you!"

Nodding, Wright approached Queen Otohime, whose sons and the stunned Shirahoshi now recognized him as the one who had gifted their mother the miraculous pendant.

Smiling warmly at the gathered royals and ministers, Wright extended his hand. A golden flame appeared, floating gently in his palm.

The "Eternal Flame" radiated warmth and light as it drifted toward Queen Otohime, enveloping her in its glow.

Her ghastly wound began to heal visibly, and her complexion grew healthier.

"Since the heart was damaged, I needed to use a more delicate healing technique," Wright explained softly to Jinbe, who had approached him.

"Your ability is truly extraordinary, Vice Admiral Wright," Jinbe murmured, suppressing his lingering questions.

Queen Otohime, standing once more as if untouched by her near-death experience, gazed at Wright with gratitude and wonder.

"Vice Admiral Wright! Why are you here?" she asked, stepping toward him.

"Well," Wright replied with a smile, "I was actually vacationing on Fish-Man Island. I entered through official channels, of course~"

His cheerful tone brought a moment of levity amidst the tension.

"Your pendant triggered an alert. These crystals are specially designed to activate when their owner is near death, buying them time and signaling their location to me," Wright explained.

"This one was my personal gift, so it's not registered with the Marines. Let's keep it our little secret, okay?"

With the crisis resolved, Wright's miraculous intervention left the plaza speechless.
