"Crack!"
Bright lightning tore through the sky, and every pirate's eyes were filled with shock and terror.
Amid the thick storm clouds, a massive, distorted rift appeared, splitting the heavens and earth into two halves.
Marco's pupils contracted as he stared fixedly at the two figures in the center of the clash. He saw it.
The two long blades clashed, arcs of electricity crackling and spreading while wind and waves radiated outward from their collision, shaking the space around them.
More astonishingly, the two blades never truly touched. Instead, they collided with an overwhelming force through the air.
"Gurararara!"
"Your powerful Haki makes you quite the worthy opponent!" Whitebeard laughed heartily.
"The world's strongest man."
"My blood is boiling!" Arashi replied with a smile of his own.
Their gazes locked, lightning flashing in the space between them. Then, both stepped back, putting some distance between each other.
Yet, from this moment onward, the atmosphere grew heavier and more oppressive.
There was no doubt that this brief exchange had stirred their fighting spirits.
Both stood at the pinnacle of the world, their strength unparalleled, leaving them few rivals. For such individuals, feeling a sense of loneliness wasn't uncommon.
"That blade… it belonged to Roger, didn't it?" Whitebeard narrowed his eyes, focusing on the long sword in Arashi's hand. His voice carried a weight of understanding.
"Yes, it did," Arashi replied with a nod.
Hearing this, a flicker of recognition passed through Whitebeard's gaze. "He must have thought very highly of you."
With a long sigh, Whitebeard looked at the man before him, standing tall with a sword in hand. For a moment, it was as though Roger himself had reappeared.
"This battle…" Whitebeard began, his voice carrying a rare excitement, "will be one I thoroughly enjoy!"
Laughing, he gripped the hilt of his weapon, the naginata Murakumogiri.
His massive frame shuddered, and the blade spun above his head, stirring up fierce winds. Two seconds later, his enormous figure vanished in a blur.
"So fast!" Arashi's swung his long sword with force.
"Clang!"
Almost simultaneously, a shadow loomed overhead, and the enormous naginata descended with overwhelming power.
Lightning crackled along the blade as it slashed downward, carrying an immense force.
Underneath Whitebeard's towering physique, his speed and explosive strength were astonishing, leaving no room for reaction.
Arashi, holding his sword firmly, wore a solemn expression. Their weapons clashed in a fierce collision of raw power.
After a single breath, Arashi's figure flickered and disappeared in a burst of lightning.
"Hmph!"
Whitebeard retracted his naginata, his sharp eyes gleaming with interest.
Suddenly, Arashi reappeared behind him, lightning coiling around him as his sword slashed downward with brutal force.
"Father!"
"Watch out!"
Marco and the others cried out in alarm. To them, this exchange had happened so quickly that it was impossible to react.
"Gurararara!"
Whitebeard's laughter echoed once more. Unbeknownst to them, he had already turned, his imposing frame radiating dominance.
His crescent-shaped white moustache quivered as the veins on his right arm bulged. With a flash of lightning, Murakumogiri met Arashi's blade head-on.
"Boom!"
The two blades clashed again, emitting a blinding light and distorting the surrounding space.
The sheer impact sent shockwaves rippling outward, forming a violent tornado that erupted from Moby Dick and swept across the sea.
"This is what a clash between the world's strongest looks like?"
"It's terrifying!"
"Just the aftermath pushed our ship back a thousand meters!"
"Even standing on the outskirts, their presence makes me tremble."
The Whitebeard Pirates were pale with fear, their bodies shaking uncontrollably.
Their wide eyes remained fixed on the two figures on the massive ship as if witnessing a battle between gods and demons.
"Whoosh!"
The fierce winds subsided, and calm slowly returned.
Whitebeard chuckled as he lowered Murakumogiri, its hilt striking the deck with a heavy thud. His sharp gaze locked onto Arashi's figure.
"Are you here to rescue that boy?" His eyes briefly darted to Marco and the others.
With a slight quiver of his moustache, Whitebeard spoke with a smile. "Well, that will depend on whether you have the strength."
Arashi straightened his posture, his long sword lowered but angled toward the deck. His eyes swept over the gathered crew.
Marco, Vista, and the others were staring at him intently, their gazes filled with tension and excitement.
That look—they were ready to fight.
Arashi recognized that expression well. The Whitebeard Pirates' entire command was now keenly interested in him.
Alone, deep within enemy territory, he would naturally have to face the full force of his opponents.
"Boy, standing before you is the world's strongest pirate crew!" Whitebeard's deep voice resonated. "Don't get too arrogant!"
"Then you've underestimated me," Arashi replied calmly, a faint smile on his lips.
In the next moment, his aura expanded outward. Within an instant, every detail within ten thousand meters was under his control.
A heartbeat later, his body erupted with countless streaks of lightning, bright and dazzling.
Marco and the others instinctively narrowed their eyes against the intense radiance.
In that fleeting moment, Arashi's figure twisted and disappeared.
"Hm?" Whitebeard's eyes narrowed slightly as he gripped Murakumogiri.
But soon after, he released his grip. It was because Marco had moved, his body ablaze with blue flames.
In an instant, Marco appeared in front of Crocodile, his body spinning as he brought his right leg down in a fierce strike aimed at the flickering figure of Arashi.
"Hey, hey, hey! We're all still here, and you're already acting recklessly!" Marco shouted, his sharp gaze fixed on his opponent.
Ahead, Arashi was surrounded by crackling lightning as he reached out with his right hand toward Crocodile on the ground.
The wind from behind alerted him, causing his brow to furrow slightly. The strength of the Whitebeard Pirates' officers was clearly beyond his expectations.
Twisting his body, Arashi swiftly turned to face Marco, reaching out with his right hand.
"Phoenix Seal!"
"Shigan!"
The two attacks collided fiercely, momentarily freezing the air before black-and-red lightning burst out.
Marco's body stiffened, a look of pain flashing across his face. Two seconds later, he was sent flying like a cannonball, crashing into the distance.
"Marco!!" Diamond Jozu's expression changed as he roared and charged forward, his massive body rushing to intervene.
Arashi raised his hand, spreading his fingers as lightning surged between them.
"One Billion Volts: Divine Punishment!"
"Boom!"
A blinding, scorching pillar of lightning shot forth, tearing through the air toward Jozu.
Its speed and destructive power reached an extreme in an instant, causing the other officers to pale.
Jozu roared as his body became encased in diamonds. The lightning struck him directly, engulfing him in unimaginable force.
The impact instantly carried him thousands of meters away, slamming into a pirate ship, splitting it in half, and setting it ablaze.
"Jozu!" Vista cried out in fury, his twin swords ready as he prepared to charge.
"Enough!" Whitebeard's angry voice boomed, halting Vista in his tracks.
"He's not someone you can handle!"
Whitebeard gripped Murakumogiri tightly in his right hand, his towering frame trembling as he bent his knees slightly, preparing to strike.
His piercing eyes locked onto Arashi.
"Boy, to act so recklessly on my ship!"
Whitebeard's voice carried an undeniable authority. "You've completely enraged me!"
At that moment, Arashi glanced at Crocodile, swinging his long blade downward in a sharp arc.
"Clang!"
Sparks flew as Crocodile's shackles shattered under the strike. He stood abruptly, his face alight with excitement and gratitude.
"Vice Admiral Arashi!"
Before he could say more, his body stiffened, sweat beading on his forehead. Behind Arashi, an imposing, towering figure loomed.
"Clang!"
The sound of Murakumogiri slicing through the air was like the cry of steel, its immense presence oppressive.
The naginata's swing seemed to transcend time and space, descending with an almost paradoxical mix of slowness and speed.
Arashi had just finished breaking Crocodile's shackles and had no time to react.
"Boom!"
Thunder roared as lightning lit up the sky, creating a dazzling backdrop of countless bolts. Crocodile's vision blurred, and for a moment, he was blinded.
A low voice echoed through the chaos.
"Galaxy Impact"
An overwhelming aura surged forth, filling the air above the Moby Dick with electricity and thunder.
Whitebeard's pupils contracted as he pressed his long blade downward with all his strength.
"Bang!"
The clash shook the void, sending endless shockwaves outward.
The deck beneath their feet shattered piece by piece as the entire Moby Dick sank into the sea. Waves surged upward, crashing violently.
As Crocodile's vision cleared, he first saw Arashi holding his sword in his right hand while firmly blocking Murakumogiri above him with his left.
"Find a way to get out of here," Arashi said, his gaze fixed intently on Whitebeard before him.
Against such a formidable opponent, even the slightest distraction could be fatal.
"Garp's fists!"
"Roger's sword!"
"The power you wield, boy, truly surprises me!" Whitebeard said loudly.
With a sudden motion, he withdrew his long blade, his sharp eyes turning to Crocodile.
"For a greenhorn like him, I have no interest," Whitebeard said dismissively, then refocused on Arashi.
"But you're a different story!"
Pausing briefly, Whitebeard glanced at their surroundings. "This place is too cramped. We can't fight properly here."
"Let's find an open area and have a proper duel!" His eyes burned with fighting spirit, his blood surging with excitement.
He had long heard of Arashi, a Marine so strong that even Roger had spoken of him cautiously.
Their earlier exchange confirmed Whitebeard's suspicions—Arashi's strength, reflexes, and mastery of Haki were top-tier.
This opponent reminded Whitebeard of Roger himself.
Arashi's battle spirit burned just as fiercely. He had prepared for this moment before arriving.
"To fight Whitebeard at his peak," he said with resolve, "is an honour."
Whitebeard raised an eyebrow and laughed heartily.
Moments later, the two stood on a remote island. Marco, his body covered in scratches, and Jozu, charred and battered, watched from the sidelines.
They knew full well that the world was about to witness a clash of titans.
