Robin's eyes widened, her breath hitching as she took in Luffy's words. Tears welled up, but before she could respond, Coby, standing right next to Luffy, grinned and stepped forward.
"Say it, Robin," Coby urged, his voice strong. "Like I told you last time, no dream is too big, and no one is too small to achieve it. If it really matters to you, keep pushing forward. Live and push forward, Robin!"
Memories flashed through Robin's mind—years of being told she shouldn't exist, that she should die. But as she looked at the faces of her friends, determination replaced her fear. The warmth of their support was undeniable, and it gave her the strength to finally speak the words she had long buried.
"I want to live," Robin cried out, her voice trembling with emotion. "Take me to sea with you!"
The crew erupted in cheers. Luffy's grin spread wide across his face. "Then we'll take you with us, Robin!" he shouted back.
As the crew rallied around Robin's declaration, Spandam's fury only grew. "You idiots!" he screamed, spittle flying from his mouth. "You're all dead! CP9, get them! Kill them all!"
Spandam yanked Robin toward him, snarling, "Come here! Grab Cutty Flam as well!" His mind raced with visions of promotions and power as he envisioned what the future held for him with the Pluton blueprints in hand. But his plans were interrupted when Franky suddenly pulled a set of rolled-up papers from his stomach.
The cyborg grinned as he unfurled the blueprints in front of Spandam, Lucci, and Kaku. "Take a good look at this," Franky said, showing the detailed diagrams to the two former shipwrights. "You both worked as shipwrights for years, so you can tell what this is, right?"
Kaku and Lucci's eyes widened as they realized what they were seeing. "I had a suspicion," Kaku admitted, "but I didn't think you were actually carrying the blueprints inside of you."
Franky nodded and then turned his attention to Robin. "Nico Robin, I know now that you're not the demon the world claims you to be. This blueprint was passed down from shipwright to shipwright for generations, not to create a weapon of mass destruction, but to craft a counterforce against one. The person who designed this never intended it to fall into the wrong hands."
Spandam, sensing that Franky was about to do something drastic, reached out to grab the blueprints, but Franky was quicker. He breathed fire from his mouth, the flames engulfing the blueprints and turning them to ash before anyone could stop him. The remains fluttered to the ground, leaving Spandam furious and sputtering in disbelief.
"If the blueprints fell into your hands, you'd have created a weapon of mass murder and carnage. That was never the designer's intent." Franky grinned, flicking the ashes from his hand. "Sure, Nico Robin might be dangerous, but now she's got her nakama to protect her. Maybe the designer's wish can only be fulfilled this way."
Spandam, seething with rage, was too focused on Franky to notice Coby moving. Coby called out to Luffy and the others, "Luffy, wrap your arms around the crew and hold on to me."
Luffy didn't need to be told twice. He stretched his arms wide, grabbing hold of everyone: Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Chopper, Sogeking, then held onto Coby.
Coby grinned, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he floated above the chasm separating the Courthouse from the Tower of Justice. "Now that Robin's with us, there's no need to drag this out," he muttered under his breath. 'I'm breaking this plot,' he thought. With a swift kick of the air using Geppo, he propelled himself and the crew toward the balcony where Spandam, Robin, Franky, and the remaining CP9 agents were waiting.
As they closed the distance, Spandam's eyes widened in realization. "What the—how are they—?" But before he could finish, Coby and the crew landed on the balcony with a thud, their presence looming over the cowering Spandam.
"Yo," Coby greeted casually, his tone almost mocking as he faced the CP9 agents. "Looks like we're crashing your little party."
Lucci, standing in front of the group, narrowed his eyes, his posture tense as he assessed the situation. "You think you can take us all on?"
Coby grinned, his confidence unshaken. "More like, I know I can."
The air between them crackled with tension. The rest of the Straw Hats were ready, their eyes locked on the CP9 agents, waiting for the fight to break out.
Spandam, still clutching Robin's arm, sneered. "You're out of your league, brat. CP9 isn't something you can handle with a few tricks."
Coby's gaze flicked to Spandam, his grin widening. "We'll see about that."
Without warning, Lucci lunged forward, his fist aiming straight for Coby's head. Coby sidestepped effortlessly, countering with a quick jab to Lucci's ribs. The impact sent Lucci skidding back, surprise flashing in his eyes.
"Fast," Lucci muttered, regaining his footing.
Coby grinned, "Your opponent is..."
But before he could finish, Luffy charged at Lucci, yelling, "Me!" His fist rocketed forward, but Lucci blocked with crossed arms, absorbing the impact.
Zoro dashed at Kaku, swords drawn, while Sanji lunged at Jabra with a powerful kick. Nami didn't waste any time, aiming her Clima-Tact at Kalifa, the air crackling with static. Chopper and Sogeking took on Kumadori together, while Franky squared off against Fukurou, his cyborg arms clashing with the CP9 agent's fists.
Spandam, watching the chaos, sneered, "Kill them, CP9! Kill them while I take Nico Robin to the Gate of Justice."
But before he could move, a voice appeared right next to him. "Don't you forget something?"
Spandam whipped around, his eyes wide with fear. Coby stood inches away, staring down at him coldly.
Spandam's face contorted with rage and fear. He lashed out wildly with his sword, but Coby easily dodged, barely moving a muscle.
"Robin isn't going anywhere with you," Coby stated, his voice like ice. He stepped closer, his eyes locked on Spandam, who stumbled back, tripping over his own feet in his haste to get away.
Spandam's terror peaked as he realized there was no escape. His hand fumbled for the golden Den Den Mushi in his pocket, the Buster Call device. "Don't come any closer! I'll blow us all to hell!" he screamed, his hand shaking.
Coby's eyes narrowed, not at all intimidated by Spandam's threat. "Do it. I want this island removed from the map." He grinned like a predator. "I want to show Robin that with me, with the crew, no force in this world can keep her if she doesn't want to stay."
Spandam's hands trembled, the weight of the situation finally sinking in. Before he could make another move, Coby charged, closing the distance in an instant. His hand clamped around Spandam's throat, lifting him off the ground with ease. The Golden Den Den Mushi fell from Spandam's grip, and Coby snatched it up with his free hand.
Without sparing Spandam another glance, Coby walked over to Robin, who was still in shock, her wide eyes locked onto him. "Coby," she whispered, her voice filled with disbelief and relief.
Coby smiled, his gaze softening as he looked at her. "It's all alright now, Robin." A wax key formed on his fingertip. He slid it into the seastone cuffs that bound Robin's wrists and turned it. The cuffs fell away with a quiet clink, freeing her.
Coby then turned back to Spandam, who was still sputtering in fear, and with a flick of his wrist, hurled him across the room like a rag doll. Spandam crashed into the far wall, crumpling to the floor in a dazed heap. "He's all yours, Robin. Don't show mercy."
Robin stared at Coby for a moment, her emotions warring within her. But then she smiled—a bright, genuine smile that hadn't graced her face in years. "Thank you, Coby."
Coby stepped closer, holding the Golden Den Den Mushi between them. "Let's press this together. Let's make them live through the hell they made you go through."
Robin hesitated, the trauma of her past clearly weighing on her. But as she looked into Coby's unwavering eyes, she found the strength she needed. She nodded, her hand trembling slightly as she reached out to join his. Together, they pressed the button.
From across the room, Spandam's voice was a shrill, panicked screech. "What the hell have you done?!"
Coby laughed, the sound echoing off the walls. "Let's burn this place down!"
