One Must Face Challenges

/ The Following Day /

*sigh*

I am so tried of doing chores, when will I be able to go outerspace with the crew as there team member, I feel like I'm been babysitted by the whole team, their just straight up treating me like a child and that's . not . cool .

And yeah I know that miss serena said that they will " maybe" consider taking me on their trip to outerspace, but we both know that she is lowkey saying that I am going on the trip, but even if I go this trip, I don't even think that I may have the chance to see everything with my own eyes.

Her hand touched my shoulder then

she said " Hey kiddo"

I said "Oh gosh! " Then jumped up from the bench, I was so lost in thought and not even aware of my surroundings that I didn't even realize that someone was heading my way.

I then held my chest, I can feel my heart beating so fast as if I was about to have an heart attack.

"Serena you scared me." I said still agitated.

" Why are you so on edge, kid?" She Asked with a slight smile.

"Why are you calling me a kid, I'm a teenager we are almost the same age."

" Ha!ha!ha! You only wish that to be true, yeah by the way I just want you to know that you are REALLY going on the trip, so prepare for tomorrow's journey to outerspace. For the millionth time." Serena Said Sarcasticly

" Hey don't make it seem so lame and boring like you now."

"Your such a rotten kid"

" Ha!ha!ha!"

" Wait- what? What did you say earlier, we are leaving earth t-t-tomorrow are you s-sure the captain said tomorrow, I-i I don't know what to pack, I -"

"Hey kid are questioning my competence?" She asked standing eye to eye before me.

I back up in the bench the replied " No miss serena, I would never do something that."

Serena smirks

"Good .... Okay . kiddo . first things first, I need you calm down, slow your rolls, we will only be journeying outerspace for one day and one night. You don't need to bring your entire room with you. Ha!ha!ha! You such a loser." Said laughing her face off.

" Stop been funny, I am been serious right now, I'm so so nervous, I don't want to mess up."

" You can't mess up if your not entirely involved."

"What! But-" I was so flabbergasted that I couldn't even formulate my words properly, right now my mind is going blank form frustration, I don't even know what to say, nor articulate my thoughts, I am feeling all sorts of emotions right now.

" Hey kiddo, cheer up maybe if you get your chores done on time without complaining and adhere to all the rules and your on your best behaviour tomorrow for the whole day then maybe I will consider taking all four of you kids to the window."

" Window?" I said feeling defeated

" Remember if you or any of the other kids damages something, or if something were to happen to you or if something goes wrong out there, the team WILL be held accountable for all troubles. So promise me that you will be in your best behaviour the entire time that we are out there!" Selena said with sadness in her eyes.

" Okay, I promise cross my heart and hope to die."

" Okay then get back to finishing up your chores then."

" Got it " I said with book my thumbs up

Serena smiled and then left the room.
