Rae wanted to use bloodstone on Scheta's body, curious about the result. He had done research with the bloodstone making him curious of the new traits it would show.

"A demon?" Seeing that Scheta was suddenly all recovered, Rae tore a punch through Scheta's chest with a burst of ki in his punch.

To Rae's surprise, Scheta showed a remarkable transformation. The body of Scheta turned into a dark black, skin had turned the combination of black and red, while the head sprouted two tiny horns.

"No noo!! Please wait!!" The demon or Scheta, whoever it was, begged for mercy. Rae did not stop, instead, he punched through Scheta's head this time, killing the grotesque thing.

'Bloodstone absorb!!' Rae thought as he placed bloodstone close to Scheta's now bizzare body.

The remains, the body, the blood, everything of Scheta turned into a foggy layer and quickly got absorbed by the bloodstone, leaving nothing of Scheta on the ground.

"A disguise ability from the demon bloodline? It's really unique, nothing like the common abilities I have." Rae muttered in shock as he absorbed the energy within the bloodstone.

He had researched on bloodstone, making him realise that the bloodstone had many uses, one of it being completely absorbing the opponent's body, consuming their bloodline as well some of its ability.

As Rae consumed the bloodstone empty, he felt a unique feeling. He could sense that his previously empty body had undergone a change.

Earlier, he did not have any ability from the demon bloodline. The abilities that any and all true demons possessed.

Because Rae was not born as a demon, and had transformed into one after awakening and tapping into his bloodline. He was not able to get the special ability like the disguise ability shown by Scheta.

As bloodstone filled his body with the rich amount of energy and bloodline energy, he felt a resistance inside his body.

The influx of energy as he absorbed the processed energy from bloodstone, caused Rae to feel as if a blockage inside his body has been cleared.

The blockage inside his body that had caused him problems while in the battle.

"So that's what it was... No wonder I had difficulty channeling my energy." Rae muttered in realisation.

The blockage inside his body had caused him to be unable to use the spell on his eyes for a long time.

This also caused his body reinforcement technique to be hindered. He could only use the burst of ki to deal with Scheta rather than the sophisticated body reinforcement.

Although, using physical construct was another topic. Rae did not try using it because of the type of combat. He wanted to test out his raw strength and fighting abilities, causing him to not opt for those techniques.

"Was this his doing then?" Rae said as he glanced at the headless body of Xavier lying on the ground near him.

He recalled that earlier today, Xavier had approached him and apologized. This could have been the moment when Xavier did it.

"A true demon is indeed a powerful being." Rae muttered, as he felt the obstruction in his body get resolved by the influx of energy.

"No wonder, he was able to take Scheta's place. The real question is, how did this demon infiltrate the royal forces?" Rae thought to himself in confusion.

Shouldn't the royal forces be on of the safest place for human race? How could a demon get to such a high position?

Even though Scheta worked with Arista, that was because he joined the internal factions because of the interests of many nobles.

He was still a member under royal forces. It was just that the part of royal forces happened to be under Arista's training and control, leading him to lean towards Arista, and then becoming a part of it.

Rae did not have much understanding about the internal strife in the factions but he understood that Scheta was a warrior of Arista family first and a part of royal forces second.

Royal forces were headed by many competent warrior of noble families. Those noble families used their influence and authority in the training and missions, causing the division of king's direct strength.

"Why did this guy try to throw himself to death? Did he think a mere blockage in channeling my energy would allow him to win?" Rae muttered as he glanced at Xavier's body.

"Should I try it out on him ?" Rae looked intrigued, he was curious about ability he had absorbed from Scheta, and wanted to try it out.

And what better target than the ignored and isolated member of the noble Kerr family? From what Rae knew, Xavier, even though talented, did not have a good backing in the family. It was the best choice for Rae to use the ability on Xavier.

Rae touched Xavier's body with his hands. The ability to transform into another person required physical touch.

A demonic energy spread out from his palm, surrounding Rae's body, enveloping Xavier's body.

Xavier's body wriggled, began to squeeze, and slowly but surely the body of Xavier began to be sucked in Rae's palm.

Similar to the bloodstone, Rae's palm cleaned up the remains of Xavier, successfully transforming Rae's body into that of Xavier's.

Only the few items on Xavier's dead body was left scattered on the ground.

From the white haired prodigy, Rae turned into a lean fit man with curly black hair, Xavier.

"Ohh!! I seem to have gained some of his memories." Rae muttered in surprise.

Not only had he gained Xavier's face and physique successfully, he was also able to see many of Xavier's memories.

The ability was a really amazing one. Worthy of being a true demon's ability!!

"Technically, I am Xavier from the Kerr family now. This opens up many possibilities for my future." Rae thought, thinking of the many things he could do with this identity theft.

It opened many new pathways for Rae's future, interestingly so!!

"I can feel that turning back into my original face and body is possible with just a simple thought." Rae muttered as he touched his new body, checking out his new physique.
