New Beginning: Star Wars

Chapter 6: 6)The Awakening of Will

The training room, designed meticulously for my use, felt both foreign and familiar at the same time. It was a large, sterile expanse—blindingly white with walls that seemed to pulse with the hum of an unseen energy. I was standing in the center of it now, feet firm on the cold floor, a sense of weightlessness settling in my mind. For a place built for experimentation, for pushing boundaries, it certainly had a strange, almost sacred feeling about it.

I had known for a long time what was inside me. The Kaminoans had never hidden it either. They had tested me, observed me, analyzed my blood and the genetic anomalies within it, the traces of power that seemed to course through my veins. They'd given me the word—Force-sensitive—but that was just a clinical term. The Force wasn't just a scientific anomaly, a thing to be tested or understood. It was… alive. And I knew it.

For years, I had wished for it—this power. Since my first conscious thoughts, when I awoke and felt that strange connection to the world around me, I knew, in the deepest corners of my being, that it was there. And I wanted to use it. Not because of what it could make me, but because of what it could reveal to me, about the universe and about myself.

Now, standing in this vast room, I could feel the Force swirling around me, something that had once been a distant hope, now something very real and tangible. I extended my hand forward, palms open to the air, my breath steady but quick as I focused on the power I knew was there, waiting for me to reach for it.

There was no hesitation. No fear. I had dreamed of this moment for as long as I could remember, and now it was time to claim it.

The room seemed to shift, the weight of the atmosphere suddenly thickening. I could feel the hum of energy building in the space around me—too many things, too many forces pushing and pulling at once, as if everything was waiting for me to do something. To take the first step.

I inhaled slowly, closed my eyes, and let my mind open. I could feel the subtle currents in the air, the push and pull of energies both visible and invisible. There was a quiet tug inside me, like the strands of something ancient, as if the very fabric of the universe was waiting for me to claim my place in it.

For the first time, I reached into it.

The shift was immediate. I could feel the surge of power, not as a thing outside myself, but something that intertwined with every part of me. I could feel my thoughts align with the Force, stretching outward, seeking to connect with the objects around me. I focused on the nearest training droid.

The droid twitched.

Then, with an effort that was more instinct than thought, I reached deeper into the Force. I could sense the droid's mass, its weight, its form, and with a slight push, it floated a few inches off the ground. A small movement, a slight shift, but it was a victory. It wasn't just about moving the object. It was about understanding the connection, understanding that there was a way to bend the world around me to my will, not by force, but by influence.

The droid wobbled slightly, then fell back to the floor with a soft thud. My breath hitched. That was only the beginning.

I could feel the urge to do more. I could sense the potential of the Force within me, an untapped well that was just beginning to come to life. I looked around, focusing on another target, a set of floating rings that could be used for precision training. Without thinking, I reached out once again, and this time, the rings hovered.

This time, I felt the Force push through me with more confidence. I wasn't forcing it. I was allowing it to move through me, guiding my thoughts, giving me clarity and control.

A flash of excitement rushed through me as the rings began to circle, moving gracefully and steadily in the air. My control was growing with each passing second. I could sense the flow of energy between me and the rings, and I let the Force guide me further, feeling the subtle weightlessness in my body as I interacted with the world around me.

For a moment, I lost myself in it, feeling the Force within every breath, every heartbeat, every movement. I felt as if I had finally become something more, something beyond the limitations of my previous self. But the feeling didn't last. The rings began to falter, and they dropped again, clattering noisily onto the floor.

I opened my eyes and took a deep breath. There was so much more I needed to learn. But there was something else in the back of my mind, something I hadn't fully considered. I knew that the Kaminoans expected me to become something else entirely—a tool for them, a weapon. They wanted me to be their ultimate soldier, their miracle of science. But I was more than that. I was becoming something they could not fully control.

I could feel it now. The Force was a tool, yes—but more importantly, it was a path. A path that wasn't as simple as they might have imagined. The Jedi and the Sith both wielded the Force, but neither were true masters of it. They were two sides of the same coin, with their dogmas and their philosophies, each claiming the Force as their own. But the truth was more complex than that.

The Jedi—peacekeepers, protectors—rejected emotions, rejected the full spectrum of the human experience, fearing the darkness that lay within. The Sith—consumed by ambition, by the hunger for power—embraced the darkness, believing that it was the key to ultimate freedom. They were both missing something, and they could never truly understand the balance of the Force because they clung to their extremes.

No. I wasn't going to follow either path.

I was going to take both the light and the dark. They were two sides of the same coin, both necessary, both crucial. I wouldn't be bound by the Jedi's rules or the Sith's thirst for domination. I would walk my own path, a path where I could use the Force freely, without restriction, without limitation. The Force was power—pure, untapped power—and it belonged to no one.

I knew that my training had just begun. The Kaminoans had given me this room, this sanctuary to explore and test my abilities, but it was just a starting point. What lay ahead of me was far more than just mastering telekinesis or learning to fight with a lightsaber. I would need to delve deeper into my connection to the Force, explore its full range, and learn to control its flow.

I walked over to the far corner of the room, where a series of weapons were stored, each one designed for training. My hand brushed over the hilt of a lightsaber that I couldn't understand how the Kaminoans managed to acquire—an elegant, simple weapon—but I didn't pick it up. Not yet.

The Force was my true weapon. I would learn to shape it, bend it to my will, and use it in ways that neither Jedi nor Sith could ever imagine.

I sat down cross-legged in the center of the room, focusing inward. My body relaxed, my breath evened out. It was time to meditate—to understand the depths of the Force, to feel its full range and what lay beneath its surface.

As I meditated, I focused on my own thoughts and desires. The more I reached into the Force, the more I understood about it. It wasn't just about moving objects. It wasn't about using it to fight, or to gain power. It was about understanding. It was about balance.

In the silence of the room, the Force and I became one.

The Kaminoans would have their expectations. They would want to control me. But they didn't understand the depth of what they had created. They hadn't realized that I was something more than just a weapon. I was the next step—someone who could use both the light and the dark, and combine them in ways they had never even dreamed of.

And I would show them.

I wasn't just their creation.

I was so much more.
