NBA Skills: Dominating Kuroko no Basket

Chapter 92: Intensity Reaches Its Peak

"Midorima and Aomine, you're up" Sanada's eyes turned to Shiro, who nodded slightly, signaling he could still play.

Seeing Shiro's response, Sanada gave the next command: "Kuroko and Kise, sub out!"

The moment he finished speaking, Aomine and Midorima rose quickly from the bench, exchanging fist bumps with Kuroko and Kise, who had just been subbed out.

With firm strides, they stepped onto the court, and the Generation of Miracles starting lineup was finally back together!

Akashi received Shiro's inbound pass, dribbling with precision as he sped toward the frontcourt.

Aomine saw the play developing and immediately surged forward, his eyes gleaming with an intense light, as if a blazing fire had ignited within him. His aura was overwhelming, like molten lava ready to erupt.

Akashi noticed the transformation in Aomine and thought to himself: 'This is his Animal Instinct!'

Without hesitation, Akashi passed the ball to Aomine, granting him full trust and freedom to execute.

With the ball in his hands, Aomine fixed a piercing gaze on Wiggins standing before him. His eyes were predatory, exuding a fierce aggression and lethal intent.

Wiggins felt a chill run down his spine, the pressure unlike anything he'd ever experienced before. Still, he stood his ground, focusing entirely on adopting the best defensive stance possible. He couldn't afford a single lapse against an opponent like this — a true beast on the court.

Aomine's intensity grew as he handled the ball, his dribbling accelerating with lightning speed. The basketball wove through his legs with fluidity, his movements so seamless they were hypnotic.

Suddenly, Aomine made a sharp crossover to his right, accelerating explosively.

Wiggins barely registered a gust of wind as Aomine blazed past him with a speed beyond his imagination.

"Damn, how is this guy so fast?" Wiggins thought, startled. Still, he didn't falter. As an elite athlete, he trusted his physical capabilities.

Quickly adjusting his footwork, Wiggins shifted laterally to cut off Aomine's drive and block his path.

Undeterred, Aomine executed a double crossover, reaching top speed as he veered left. Wiggins, using his athleticism, matched him stride for stride, sliding to cut off Aomine's path once more.

It was then that Aomine pulled out a move that left everyone in awe.

Slowing his momentum to zero in an instant, he performed a step-back dribble, leaving Wiggins off-balance and unable to recover.

The inertia carried Wiggins forward, and he couldn't realign his center of gravity in time.

This was the opening Aomine had been waiting for. Seizing the opportunity, Aomine jumped for a fadeaway shot.

Wiggins, recovering quickly, leaped to contest, but Aomine's next move was jaw-dropping.

Hanging in the air, Aomine leaned backward at an extreme angle while maintaining perfect shooting form.

"A fadeaway?" Wiggins muttered, confused.

As Aomine leaned farther back, Wiggins began to descend, his jump already spent. By the time Wiggins landed, Aomine's body was tilted at a nearly impossible 30-degree angle.

The shot defied logic—almost as if it mocked gravity itself.

At the apex of his movement, Aomine flicked his wrist, and the ball arced perfectly towards the basket.

Swish! The net rippled as the ball dropped cleanly through.

The crowd went silent, stunned by the unbelievable shot.

The scoreboard changed: 51:42.

Unbothered by the opposing team's shock, Aomine jogged back on defense, his expression stoic.

"This is insane... absolutely insane!" Russell exclaimed, eyes wide, struggling to process what he had just seen.

Even the American players nodded in agreement. They had never seen anything like it before.

"Has his formless shoot evolved to this level?" Shiro wondered, inwardly shaken. He doubted he could have defended that shot.

The others were similarly awestruck. None of them had anticipated Aomine's growth to this extent. Then, joy flickered in their eyes — the point gap was finally down to single digits!

"You think we're just gonna roll over?" Davis roared, charging toward Teiko's paint like a freight train.

Murasakibara stuck close to him, using his sheer presence to pressure Davis and deny him any easy plays.

At the other end, Schröder showcased his sharp court vision, threading a full-court pass with pinpoint accuracy to Davis.

Catching the ball in stride, Davis wasted no time. He bulldozed his way into the paint, eyes locked on the rim with a ferocious glare.

Despite Murasakibara's efforts, Davis' strength proved overwhelming. At 100 kilograms, his sheer power sent the 92-kilogram Murasakibara sprawling.

Now unguarded, Davis soared high, aiming for a thunderous dunk.

But out of nowhere, Aomine streaked in like a shadow, his unmatched speed propelling him into the air. His hand reached for the ball, attempting a spectacular block.

"Bang!" The collision was brutal. Aomine was knocked to the ground, grimacing as he realized the raw power Murasakibara had been battling all game.

With Aomine grounded, Davis slammed the ball through the hoop, shaking the rim violently. The crowd roared as the scoreboard read 53:42.

Teiko regrouped and worked together on the next possession, eventually getting the ball to Murasakibara under the basket.

But Davis, a defensive wall, swatted Murasakibara's shot with authority.

Immediately after, Davis employed a clever pump fake, baiting both Murasakibara and Aomine into the air. With the defenders neutralized, he spun and executed a textbook fadeaway, sinking the shot effortlessly.

The gap widened again: 55:42.

Davis dominated both ends of the court, leaving Murasakibara visibly shaken.
