Chapter 32: Unusual team

Chapter

32: The Slightly Unexpected Team 7

Iruka looked at the lively and

energetic faces below. He seemed to be smiling, but he sighed inwardly. He

didn't see any tension or urgency from these children. Even though he had

emphasized the dangers of becoming a ninja multiple times over the past six

years, not many children took it to heart. After all, it's hard to empathize

without personal experience!

As a Chunin, Iruka knew this too

well. These children were now full of confidence and yearning. How many of them

would survive in one or two years was an unknown. But he had fulfilled his

duties as a teacher. The rest would depend on the children's own efforts.

"Then I will announce the

division of classes. I believe you all know that to better complete missions,

ninjas usually form teams. The size of the team is generally limited to three

to five people. You have just graduated, and the village will also arrange an

experienced senior to guide you. When I call your name, you will automatically

call it out. Then your team leader will come to lead you. Do you

understand?"

"Yes!!"

This was the most anticipated and

also the most nervous part. As graduates of the ninja school, these kids knew

the importance of companions. Including the young master Sasuke Uchiha, who

didn't care much in the original story, but this time was a little different.

If possible, he really hoped to team up with Menma. This was not only because

Menma had shown absolute power in the past six years. Although Sasuke didn't

say it openly, he recognized Menma's strength.

Failure after failure had made

Sasuke obsessed. He must defeat Menma! And it wasn't just an ordinary defeat;

he had to surpass Menma in all aspects. Otherwise, how could he avenge his

"genius brother"? Therefore, being in the same team with Menma was

the best result.

Thinking about this, Sasuke couldn't

help but secretly glance at Menma, though he thought it was very subtle. Menma

could clearly sense it. He didn't need to look directly. With his current

perception, as long as someone paid special attention to him, Menma could sense

it immediately. He could probably guess what Sasuke was thinking.

If possible, Menma was willing to be

in the same team with Sasuke. After all, Sasuke occupied a significant position

in his future plans! But whether it could be achieved was not something Menma

could control. His existence was the biggest plot change. The Fourth Hokage in

the original story didn't have two sons! Therefore, Menma was curious about how

the Third Hokage would arrange the class pairing in this time and space.

Some class pairings were obviously

destined. For example, Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino. If there were no peers in the

three families of Ino-Shika-Cho, they must be in the same team when they

graduate together. This had been the practice for decades. The team formed by

Shikamaru's father and the fathers of the other two once had a high reputation

in the ninja world.

People from other ninja clans would

often be assigned together. The so-called "fair and just" team

assignment was a joke. Mediocre people could never be assigned to geniuses.

Even Haruno Sakura, who seemed mediocre in the original work, had invincible

theoretical talents and outstanding chakra control ability! Later, she followed

Tsunade to learn and mastered most of Tsunade's moves in just three years,

showing how excellent she was!

In the original work, Haruno Sakura

was arranged to join Naruto and Sasuke's team. There might have been some luck

and accident in it, but it was definitely not that anyone could replace Sakura

and become a teammate with Naruto and Sasuke! A Jonin represented the top

combat power of a ninja village! It was not easy to be arranged to lead a class

in the ninja school. Only the next generation of young people valued by the

village were eligible for such treatment.

Different young generations were led

by different Jonin. Kakashi led the seventh team because he had the Sharingan

and was a direct subordinate of the Fourth Hokage. Asuma led the tenth team

because Ino-Shika-Cho had always been a hardcore Hokage family, and Asuma was

the biological son of Sarutobi Hiruzen! These arrangements were not casual.

Everything had profound internal reasons.

It was almost impossible for

ordinary graduates to team up with people from famous ninja families! Unless

they showed extraordinary talent during their time in the ninja school and were

valued by the village, they would be randomly assigned to a team led by an

ordinary Chunin. The future fate of these people was the most common encounter

in the ninja world.

This was often only the tip of the

iceberg shown in the original work. What was shown more was the passion and

struggle of the protagonists. And this was the most ridiculous and pitiful

thing.

"Team one, Nobita , Shizuka,

and Onikawa Koo!" "Yes!" "Team 2, Furukawa Shin, Fuji

Mineko, Edogawa Conan!" "Yes!" "Team 3, Endaiko, Saburo

Shinoda, Rina Yanase!" "Yes!"

The class placement results were

announced in an orderly manner. Everything unfolded according to the

established script. These ordinary students could only form a team with their

ordinary classmates and then be randomly assigned to a certain Chunin. They

would basically remain Genin for the rest of their lives! There were definitely

only a few people who could be promoted to Chunin. You must know that Chunin

were already the mainstay of the ninja village!

For these ordinary students of the

same grade, Menma had no interest at all and just ignored it completely.

Until the names of Team 6 were

called out.

"Team 7, Uzumaki Menma,"

Iruka called out, capturing Menma's attention.

Menma's spirit suddenly perked up,

and his eyes focused. This was the critical moment.

Iruka continued without pausing,

"Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Naruto Namikaze!" He also said the

next three names one after another, causing an uproar in the whole class.

Including Menma, everyone was stunned for a moment.
