The shurikens collided mid-air, losing most of their kinetic energy, which allowed the Sunagakure special jounin to evade them with ease.

"Kid..."

"Fang Over Fang!"

Before the special jounin could respond, Inuzuka Retsu and Tetsumaru transformed into a whirlwind and lunged toward their opponent.

However, the Sunagakure ninja was no ordinary fighter. He sidestepped the assault and drew the ninja blade strapped to his back. With a sharp breath, he unleashed a fierce slash aimed at Retsu.

"Wind Release: Vacuum Blade!"

"Uchiha Style: Whirlwind Slash!"

Haruto rushed in from the side, intercepting the blow with his wakizashi.

Despite Haruto's swift reaction, his opponent's strength was superior, forcing him into a slight retreat after their blades clashed.

"Secret Technique: Parasitic Insects."

Furukawa raised her sleeve, releasing a swarm of insects that buzzed toward the enemy.

Seeing this, the Sunagakure ninja attempted to retreat. He lashed out with a powerful kick aimed at Haruto to clear his path.

Haruto's Sharingan allowed him to perceive the attack, but his body was too slow to fully evade it. Forced to counter with his own leg, the clash propelled both fighters backward. Simultaneously, they began forming hand seals to launch their next jutsu.

"Ninjutsu: Sandstorm Surge!"

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

The Sunagakure ninja's hurricane collided with Haruto's fiery projectile. The wind overpowered the flames, scattering Furukawa's bugs in the process.

"This guy's mastered Wind Release chakra nature..." Haruto muttered as his fireball dissipated.

If not for his rigorous Fire Release training, which gave him an edge against Wind Release, he would have been overpowered immediately. Even so, the battle of ninjutsu was tilting against him.

Thankfully, he wasn't alone.

With Haruto drawing attention, Inuzuka Retsu managed to avoid the Vacuum Blade. He activated his Orc Transformation alongside Tetsumaru, merging into a massive two-headed wolf.

"Inuzuka Style: Beast-Human Hybrid Transformation – Two-Headed Wolf!"

The enormous creature braved the cutting winds, enduring the sharp injuries inflicted by the Wind Release. Undeterred, it lunged at the enemy with relentless ferocity.

Forced to break his ninjutsu, the special jounin dodged the wolf's bite, focusing on evasion rather than counterattack.

Haruto observed the enemy carefully. His Sharingan noted the ninja's calculated strategy: isolate Furukawa, whose bugs were hindered by Wind Release, then exhaust Retsu's transformation, and finally face him—the most challenging opponent—alone.

"So, I'm the first target?" Furukawa tilted her head as the enemy charged toward her.

"But I also know some Wind Release," she said, raising her arms. "It's not perfect, but it's enough for this."

A tornado of insects erupted from her sleeves, swirling rapidly around her. More bugs emerged from the ground, their natural habitat, drawn out by her chakra.

Despite the cold, damp conditions of the Rain Country, the muddy terrain provided a haven for the insects to multiply. In moments, the special jounin was trapped within a whirlwind of buzzing bugs.

"Nice one, Furukawa!" Retsu grinned, releasing the two-headed wolf transformation, which had drained much of his chakra. He gave her a thumbs-up.

"This is the result of all our training!"

"Now, let's finish this guy!" Haruto stepped forward, gripping his wakizashi tightly.

"Furukawa, I'll need your help. When I attack, have your bugs disperse at the right moment. My Sharingan can pinpoint the opening for the final strike."

Furukawa nodded, her expression calm.

Haruto raised his wakizashi above his head, taking a deep breath.

"Uchiha Style: Flame Blade Slash!"

The blade cut through the air, releasing a massive wave of fiery energy that surged toward the insect tornado. At the precise moment of impact, Furukawa directed her insects to scatter, revealing the disoriented enemy.

The Sunagakure ninja turned, eyes wide with panic, and raised his blade to defend himself against the incoming fire.

But before the attack could land, another figure stepped in.

The fiery slash dissipated as a new Sunagakure ninja blocked the attack with ease.

"Damn it!" Haruto cursed, recognizing the new arrival.

The man wore the standard Sunagakure jonin vest, his presence exuding a far greater menace than the special jounin they had been fighting.

"You almost lost to three kids. Pathetic." The jonin, Ketasu, sneered at his companion before turning his cruel gaze toward Haruto and the others.

Without warning, he vanished, reappearing in front of Haruto with his blade raised high.

"Damn..." Haruto's Sharingan barely managed to follow Ketasu's movements, but his body couldn't keep up.

After a brief exchange of over ten moves, Ketasu disarmed Haruto with a powerful kick, sending the wakizashi flying. Another strike knocked Haruto to the ground.

Meanwhile, Retsu and Furukawa were locked in battle with the original special jounin, unable to provide any assistance.

"Farewell, young Uchiha."

Ketasu smirked, raising his sword for the final blow.

Faced with imminent death, Haruto's Sharingan spun wildly, his desperation triggering its evolution. The single tomoe in his eye blurred, splitting into two tomoe in rapid succession.
