Naruto : Transforming the Ninja World into a Harem World

Chapter 45: Farewell

In a white and empty space, Akira stood alone, scanning the surroundings as if searching for something.

"What is this thing again?" he grumbled, frustrated.

Suddenly, a voice behind him declared, "It's a space I created using my power."

Akira turned around and saw a woman with an impassive face, lavender eyes, and white hair, dressed in a robe emblematic of her clan. She smiled at him.

"Master," Akira murmured, his eyes wide.

Amused by his expression, Yumi said with a smile, "Don't make that face."

A heavy silence fell, then Yumi declared, "So, you lost, didn't you?"

"Yes, not only did I lose, but I also died," Akira replied bluntly.

Yumi chuckled softly. "You don't seem embarrassed, though."

"I missed you," Akira suddenly said. "Now that I've seen you one last time, I can say I have no regrets."

Yumi approached Akira and kissed him gently. Without giving him time to react, she pushed him, breaking the space around him. As Akira fell, he heard Yumi's final words: "I'll wait for you no matter how long it takes, so don't give up," accompanied by a sad smile.

Then the space around Akira disappeared, leaving him in a world of darkness, until his consciousness faded away.

[ Somewhere in the universe ]

The moon shone in the starry sky, faintly lighting up the clearing. Kaguya stood there, her gaze lost in the distance, her usually impassive face betraying deep sadness.

"I see," she acquiesced in a dull voice, still staring at the sky.

Isshiki Otsutsuki, his horn slightly tilting backward, approached her slowly.

"I was expecting much more of a reaction from you," he said in a disinterested tone.

Kaguya slowly turned her head towards him, her gaze cold and distant.

"I beg your pardon, Lord Isshiki," she replied deferentially.

Isshiki waved off the remark with a gesture of his hand.

"No need, let's move on, this kind of thing doesn't concern me," he said wearily.

A heavy silence settled between them. Kaguya shifted her attention back to the sky, sadness clearly visible on her face.

"I hope we meet again," she murmured, more to herself.

Isshiki observed her for a moment, a glint of interest in his eyes. Then, without a word, he turned on his heels and walked away, leaving Kaguya alone with her dark thoughts.

The young woman remained motionless, her gaze fixed on the stars. The news of Akira's death had just marked her forever. Not only had she lost the man who had helped her rise from the depths, but also the man she loved.

Her fingers clenched the fabric of her robe, her face shifting from sadness to disgust, hatred.

End!!!
