Naruto: Tobirama Reborn, Invincible in the Ninja World

Danzo's arm, dislodged from his body, dropped to the ground. The bandages wrapped around it unraveled with a soft thud, falling away to reveal a grotesque sight—a line of Sharingan, each locked open as if screaming the grievances of their original owners.

"Sharingan!"

"Danzo-sama actually..."

Amazed, Mitokado Homura and Utatane Koharu, who had accompanied Tobirama, stared wide-eyed at the scene. Their expressions were a mix of shock and disbelief.

This was exactly why Tobirama had insisted they follow along—he needed witnesses.

"There's even traces of Wood Release... Could it be—"

The rest of the thought remained unsaid, but the implication was clear. Danzo must have desecrated the First Hokage's grave for his experiments.

Danzo's expression darkened as he grabbed his severed arm and tried to flee. But Tobirama, of course, wouldn't give him that chance.

"Water Style: Severing Wave!"

A razor-sharp stream of water, concentrated and precise, sliced through the air. The jutsu traveled several hundred meters in the blink of an eye, aiming for Danzo.

At the same time, Tobirama activated the Body Flicker Technique, appearing directly in Danzo's path, his speed leaving little room for escape.

Though aged, Danzo's skills hadn't dulled too much. Twisting his body at the last moment, he dodged the water blade. Seeing Tobirama bearing down on him, however, stirred a strange mix of fear and exhilaration in Danzo's heart.

It's fine. I still have my trump card—the ultimate ace up my sleeve.

His gaze darted to Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan embedded in his right eye.

Kotoamatsukami.

With this genjutsu, he could control Tobirama, turn the tables, and claim the title of Hokage. He'd make Konoha the strongest village in the world, uniting and dominating the ninja world under his rule.

The plan was flawless—or so he thought. He just needed the perfect opening to activate the genjutsu. But Kotoamatsukami required precise timing, and he only had one chance. The cooldown period for someone without Uchiha blood was unbearably long.

Danzo devised a strategy: feign weakness, bait Tobirama into delivering a heavy injury, and activate Kotoamatsukami when his guard was down.

His lips curled into a sinister smile.

What he didn't consider, however, was that Tobirama already knew he possessed a Mangekyō Sharingan.

Tobirama closed the distance, a water blade forming in his hand as he aimed at Danzo. The sharp edge slashed through Danzo's remaining limbs, drawing agonized screams as Danzo collapsed to the ground, rendered nearly immobile.

Despite the devastating injuries, none were fatal. Danzo lay there gasping for breath, blood pooling beneath him.

"Sensei… I was wrong… Please… forgive me…"

Danzo's voice was weak and trembling, barely coherent as blood spilled from his lips.

Tobirama almost chuckled. The performance was pitiful, a poorly acted display of regret. But Tobirama decided to play along—for now. He had no intention of damaging the precious Mangekyō Sharingan.

"Danzo, your sins are unforgivable. My final mercy as your teacher is to send you on your way myself."

Despite his words, Tobirama's actions never wavered. His fist shot forward, aimed at Danzo's head with a force that made the air itself hum.

Closer. Closer.

Danzo's heart raced with exhilaration as Tobirama's fist neared. He began channeling chakra into his left eye.

This is it. The moment I've been waiting for.

Just as the punch was about to land, Tobirama's fist suddenly stopped.

Danzo froze in shock.

Instead of a punch, Tobirama's hand twisted into a claw, reaching for Danzo's right eye.

"AAARGH!"

Danzo's scream tore through the battlefield as Tobirama's fingers dug into the bandaged eye socket. Without hesitation, Tobirama yanked the eye out, the grotesque squelch of flesh and chakra reverberating in the air.

"NO!"
