NARUTO: The Saga of Crimson Monarch

Chapter 62: The Turning Point

[Years had passed since the war, and the city had risen from its ashes. Once broken and silent, it now thrived with life. The streets echoed with merchants' calls, children's laughter, and the steady presence of samurai.]

Merchant "Hey, everyone! Try this! A special product from my homeland!"

He holds up a basket of brightly colored fruits "These are rare, I promise you! The taste will blow your mind!"

Akimitsu "Hmm, they do look fresh. What kind of fruits are they?"

The merchant "Ah, you've got an eye for quality! These are called Morishe, a fruit from the southern plains. Sweet and tangy, just like the breeze there. You won't find anything like it around here."

Akimitsu"I'll take three!"

The merchant grins and hands over the fruits, pocketing the coins.

The other merchant "Hey! You! Yes, you! Handsome young man! Come and see this fabric! From the finest silk of my country!" He waves a roll of shimmering cloth in the air.

"This fabric will make you feel like royalty. Soft, vibrant—perfect for the upcoming season!"

Isaw was blushing "It does look nice, but can it withstand the heat?"

Merchant "Ah, a discerning eye! Yes, it's breathable and light. Perfect for those warm days but still keeps you looking sharp!"

Isaw smile then "I'll take two rolls "

The merchant smiles, satisfied with the sale.

Osuke laughing as he watches the people "It's been a long time since I've seen this. The city, the people... they're all back on their feet."

Kaito "It's like the whole place has a heartbeat again. Hard to believe this was once a ruin."

Osuke nod "Yeah, it's a good feeling. The scars may still be there, but... life always finds a way to return."

They watch as the children dart through the market, evading the samurai and giggling as they run through the streets.

"Catch us, mister!" they shout, their laughter echoing through the air

One child sticks out their tongue and laughs, "Blee-ang!"

Yuusei (chuckling) "Those brats have no fear. It's a good thing we put samurai here, or they'd be running wild all day."

Zeno smiling "They'll get used to it. A little chaos never hurt anyone."

One of the samurai calls out, his voice light but firm."Oi! You brats, stop running! This place is full of merchants and people going in and out. Go play somewhere else!"

If I ever catch one of you, I'll report you to Lord Shogun!" (He says this with a smile)

The children pause, exchange mischievous glances, and then scatter, their laughter ringing out. "Okay, mister!" they call back, then dart off in another direction, their giggles fading into the distance.

Souta shaking his head, amused "You hear that? They've got no respect for authority. But it's nice. Reminds me of simpler times."

Yuusie with a smirk"Better than the silence we used to have."

[Ares stood on a rooftop, gazing down at the thriving city below as he watched the people—merchants haggling, children laughing, samurai patrolling—alive and united once more. Ares knew it was time to move on. His work here was complete. With a deep breath, he turned and made his way toward the castle, where Meiji and his closest allies had gathered to discuss the future of the kingdom.]

The grand hall doors creaked open, and as Ares entered, a hush fell over the room. Meiji, Yuusei, and the others turned to face him, rising in unison, bowing solemnly in recognition of Ares' presence.

Ares nodded, his gaze steady. "Meiji, everyone... it's time for me to continue my journey. It has been an honor to share this time with all of you."

Meiji's voice trembled as he spoke, "Lord Asura… I knew this day would come, but... I can't help but wish it hadn't."

Ares offered a small, reassuring smile. "You've done well, Meiji. The city is thriving again. The people are finding their way. Now, it's time for me to move forward."

Meiji lifted his gaze, with determination and gratitude. "I'll give everything I have to make this place even greater, Lord Asura. When you return, you'll see it flourishing beyond what you've imagined."

Ares nodded, his gaze steady and filled with quiet pride. "I trust you all," he said, his voice carrying weight. "I have no doubt this city will even thrive more."

The room fell into a heavy silence, each person absorbing his words. One by one, they nodded, and trembling and sobbing.

With a final look around, Ares turned toward the door. He paused, glancing back over his shoulder. "Take care of this city, Meiji, everyone," he said, his tone firm but filled with care. "Ensure it never forgets how it rose from the ashes."
