Last time on NTLHOS:

Koushiro observed the bustling activity around him. "Your settlement is impressive."

"Thank you," Naruto replied. "This is nothing wait till we move to Uzu."

Shi gestured to the training grounds. "Our people will contribute what they can."

"I'm looking forward to it," he said sincerely.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Now:

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the sprawling settlement that had become a beacon of hope for many. Naruto stood atop a cliff overlooking the area, the wind tousling his crimson hair. It had been Four years since he embarked on this ambitious journey, and the fruits of his labor were beginning to take shape.

In these years, Naruto had accomplished more than he ever imagined. He had built a vast spy network rivalling that of Jiraiya. Through a combination of sealing techniques and innovative communication methods, his network could transmit information instantaneously, outpacing even the most sophisticated systems. The use of seals allowed for secure and encrypted messages, ensuring that sensitive information remained confidential. He also had 24/7 clones on the Intelligence wing that dispels every hour and if there is some important news then asap.

Standing beside him, Karin adjusted her glasses, her eyes scanning a scroll. "Our latest reports indicate that trade revenues have increased by another five percent this quarter," she noted. "Your investments are paying off."

Naruto smiled faintly. "It's not the money. It's about building a foundation strong enough to support the system that we build for what's coming."

Karin glanced at him. "You've certainly taken Gato's shipping network to unseen heights. We are now controlling sixty percent of sea trade in the Hokubu Ocean, Baizoru sea and Kaijuu Ocean combined is no small feat."

"Agreed," he replied. "But we can't get complacent. There's still much to do."

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Naruto's primary focus had always been the rebuilding of Uzu—Uzushiogakure, the ancestral home of the Uzumaki clan. But he knew that to protect it, he needed more than just walls and seals; he needed provinces, resources, power and a strong economic foundation.

Over time, he began uniting neighboring lands into what his inner circle referred to as Minor Uzu or Neo Uzu. This conglomerate included the Lands of Demon, Woods, Valley and Neck, Swamp (also known as the Land of Marches), Honey, Key, Sky, Vegetables, Birds, Forests, and Wolf (also called the Land of Fangs).

The task was monumental. Each land had its own customs, leaders, and challenges. Yet, through diplomacy, strategic interventions, and sometimes covert operations, Naruto managed to bring them under a unified banner without attracting the attention of the major hidden villages.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

The geopolitical landscape worked in Naruto's favor. Following Orochimaru's invasion of Konoha, the five great nations were locked in a tense stalemate. Suna was mired in economic depression, struggling to recover from its losses. Meanwhile, Konoha, though militarily stronger than ever, had sustained significant casualties due to underestimating Deidara during a prior conflict. This, combined with escalating tensions with Kumo and internal clan disputes, had left the village stretched thin.

Kumo, on the other hand, was in no position to invade minor villages, having squandered a great deal of goodwill with its aggressive strategies and opportunistic attempts to expand influence.

Mizu remained paralyzed by its paranoia, endlessly searching for rebels who had seemingly vanished into thin air. The economic deuteriation and post the disappearance of rebels there huge rampant infighting within Kiri since they no longer anyone to satiate the bloodlust rendered it incapable of pursuing expansion, let alone mounting any substantial offensive against minor nations.

Let me know if you'd like any further adjustments!

"Have we heard anything new from Iwa?" Naruto asked, turning to Karin.

She shook her head. "They're as quiet as ever. It's almost... unnatural."

"Keep an eye on them," he instructed. "Their silence could mean they're planning something."

He knew that with the major villages preoccupied, he could operate more freely. However, one wildcard remained: Jiraiya of the Sannin.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Naruto's spies informed him that Jiraiya was on the move, having spotted a whiskered boy with a bokken staff—an accurate description of Sarutobi Konohamaru. The possibility of Jiraiya stumbling upon his operations was a risk he couldn't afford. Any other spy he could kill or fill the spy's head with false information, this was one man he couldn't confront, not till the time was right. So Naruto found a unique way out.

Flashback

"Jiraiya is heading towards Wave Country," reported Suigetsu, leaning casually against a tree. "From there, he might make his way to the Land of Wolf."

Naruto's eyes narrowed. "We can't let that happen."

Suigetsu smirked. "What do you propose? He's not exactly someone we can confront directly."

Naruto considered his options. The Akatsuki was dangerous, but their goals aligned temporarily. They sought the jinchūriki, and Jiraiya had one.

"Employ the Akatsuki," Naruto decided. "They'll keep Jiraiya occupied."

Karin looked uneasy. "Are you sure that's wise? They're not exactly good people."

"I know," he acknowledged. "But we share a common interest in keeping Jiraiya away from these lands."

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Through discreet channels, Naruto communicated with the Akatsuki, arranging for two of their teams to be near Kirigakure to deter Jiraiya's approach.

It worked.

Twice over the past two years, Jiraiya altered his course, opting to investigate disturbances elsewhere. Naruto knew he couldn't underestimate the Sannin, but for now, the threat was mitigated. There was no confrontation since even Akatsuki knew better than to go on full-fledged battle with the toad Sannin.

Flashback End

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------Back in the heart of Neo Uzu, trade flourished. The Land of Vegetables had become one of the largest food producers, rivalling the Lands of Fire and Rice Paddies. The burning of fields in the Land of Rice Paddies by Konoha had led to food shortages, and Naruto seized the opportunity with both hands.

Iwa and Kumo, seeking alternatives to the Land of Fire's resources, eagerly accepted trade agreements. This displeased the Fire Court, but their hands were tied.

At a council meeting, Mei Terumī reviewed the latest economic reports. "Our exports have increased significantly," she noted. "But we should be cautious. The Fire Daimyō won't sit idly by."

Naruto leaned forward, his gaze steady. "We're not provoking them directly. As long as we operate within the bounds of trade, they can't justify action without drawing unwanted attention."

Ao nodded in agreement. "Still, we should bolster our defenses."

"Already in motion," Naruto assured. "And you forget we are a company not village in the eye of the world."

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

One of the most significant accomplishments was the transformation of the Land of Woods. Ravaged during the Second Shinobi War by Konoha, it had become a shadow of its former self.

Naruto saw potential where others saw ruin.

Over the years, remnants of its people had turned to rebellion and isurgency against Konoha forces or to be precise danzo's forces, their anger fuelled by Konoha's past atrocities. But Naruto extended a hand and employed them in smuggling goods but that was not enough. Seeing an opportunity, Naruto extended an offer of renewal.

Naruto orchestrated a meticulous plan to reshape the region's leadership. He dispatched Zabuza to eliminate the daimyo who was a creature of Danzo through and through, whose reign had only deepened the suffering of Land of Woods. In his place, Naruto installed the daimyo's brother, a man loyal to Naruto's vision and ideals. To further destabilize Konoha's influence, Naruto implicated Danzo in the assassination by ensuring one of the daimyo's guards was revealed as a Root operative and it was the same guard who assonated the daimyo.

This strategy was same as Naruto's earlier successes in Kumo, where he had exposed Root's covert actions. While the fallout from Kumo incident had deterred overt accusations against Konoha, whispers of Danzo's involvement in the Land of Woods spread like wildfire. Resentment toward Konoha grew silently since this time it was not the veil kumo who accused but a minor village. It became common knowledge that Konoha was responsible for the systematic destruction of villages across the Land of Woods,.

This decisive action not only secured the loyalty of the Land of Woods but also also the access to woods.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Under the cover of darkness, Pakura led a team comprising Zabuza, Anko, and Ameyuri Ringo. Their mission: purge land of woods of all of Danzo's drones.

In the aftermath, public outrage erupted. Citizens took to the streets, demanding justice. Rakero rallied the people, channelling their anger toward change.

"Konoha did this to us!" he shouted to the crowds. "But we will not be pawns any longer!"

Naruto observed from the sidelines, satisfaction evident. The Land of Woods began its transformation, becoming a hub for trade, natural resources essential to Uzu's rebuilding efforts.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Some alliances required less subterfuge. In the Land of Demons, Priestess Miroku welcomed Naruto openly.

"The Land of Demons belongs to you," she said gracefully. "Our fates are intertwined."

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

In the Lands of Valley and Neck, tribal communities revered Naruto as a spiritual leader. His ability to summon and communicate with deities resonated with their beliefs.

A tribal elder approached him after a ceremonial gathering. "You are the bridge between worlds, we have seen, what happen to the spirits after the destruction of Uzu, never again" she proclaimed. "We will follow you."

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

However, not all territories were as welcoming. The Land of Sky harboured remnants of the plan to establish a flying village. Rogue shinobi sought to make the Zero-Tails, a malevolent entity made from negative chakra that is derived from negative emotion.

Naruto knew he had to act.

He personally journeyed to the ruins of the Sky Village, confronting the insurgents. They attacked without hesitation, launching aerial assaults with chakra-powered machines.

"Futile," Naruto muttered, his voice calm yet laced with a dangerous edge as his hands blurred through a rapid series of seals. "Storm Release: Wrath of the Storm God! (Ranton: Arashin no Ikari!)"

A surge of energy erupted around him, the air crackling with power as the very atmosphere seemed to bend to his will. Lightning surged from the skies, spiraling into a massive vortex of destructive chakra. The winds howled with an almost sentient fury, and water from the surrounding clouds condensed into streams of liquid destruction, weaving into the maelstrom.

This was no ordinary technique. A crimson, plasma-infused typhoon emerged from the heavens, descending with an ominous grace. This was the pinnacle of Naruto's mastery over his Storm Release—a true Kekkei Tōta years in the making. Wrath of the Storm God wasn't just a jutsu; it was a force of nature incarnate, a testament to Naruto's relentless drive to surpass all limitations.

Above, the Land of Sky's flying warship—an awe-inspiring construct powered by forbidden technology—hovered arrogantly, its cannons charging to fire. But as Naruto's jutsu activated, the sky itself seemed to rebel.

A massive bolt of lightning, brighter than a hundred suns, followed by the crimson plasma typhoon, descended from the heavens and struck the ship's core. The impact shattered its energy shield, and the jutsu's roaring winds tore into the hull with surgical precision. The once-mighty vessel groaned under the assault, its metal plating screeching as it was wrenched away like paper caught in a hurricane.

Streams of water, infused with electrical charge, surged into the warship's exposed cracks, destabilizing its volatile energy reserves. With a deafening explosion, the ship erupted into a blinding inferno, pieces of burning wreckage raining down like meteors onto the battlefield below.

Naruto stood unmoving, his silhouette framed against the chaos he had unleashed. His eyes, sharp and unyielding, followed the remnants of the ship as they plummeted to the earth, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. The land beneath the wreckage crackled and hissed, the scorched earth a testament to the devastating power of his jutsu.

"This is the power of a storm god," Naruto murmured to himself, his tone devoid of arrogance but filled with cold certainty.

He would not have unleashed his most powerful technique, a high SS-rank jutsu, the Wrath of the Storm God ( Ranton: Arashin no Ikari), if the situation had not been dire—and even then, it had not been at its full power. The entity at the heart of the Land of Sky's warship was no ordinary threat; even its mere presence posed a danger to the spiritual realm, its corrupting influence capable of twisting everything it touched.

For Naruto, the very conception of such a monstrosity was an abomination. Its existence was intolerable, an affront to the balance he sought to preserve. And so, he had obliterated it, ensuring it would never rise again.

This was the fundamental property of any Kekkei Tōta—either destruction or creation. Storm Release (Ranton) firmly belonged to the former. Much like Particle Release (Jinton), which dismantled matter to its fundamental components, Storm Release pulverized anything it made contact with, rendering it into nothingness. Its power was absolute, a manifestation of nature's wrath channelled through Naruto's will.

Emerging from the depths, Naruto found the remaining insurgents kneeling. "We have nothing left, are you god?" one admitted. "Our ambitions have led to ruin."

"I am not a god, but you can join me," Naruto offered. "Channel your skills toward rebuilding, not destruction."

Some accepted, and the Land of Sky began its journey toward redemption.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

The Lands of Birds, Forests, and Vegetables had become increasingly dependent on Naruto's trade networks. When he proposed formal annexation, their leaders readily agreed, eager to partake in the prosperity they had witnessed flourishing in neighboring lands. At the same time, they were wary of sharing the fate of the Land of Woods, whose growing economy had made it a target. None of them wanted Danzo or people like him turning his attention toward their territories, and aligning with Naruto offered both protection and opportunity.

In the Land of Honey, an old Uzumaki outpost, Naruto found remnants of his clan's influence, the leaders of Land of Honey was Old Uzumaki loyalist. The locals welcomed him as their lord, offering resources like marble and limestone which was crucial for Uzu's reconstruction.

The Land of Swamps, or Marches was already his.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Perhaps the most intriguing addition was the Land of Keys, home to Jōmae Village—a tribe of shinobi specializing in espionage and mind-related techniques.

Naruto stood before their council, observing the austere expressions of the elders. "I understand you've fallen on hard times," he began.

An elder named Haru eyed him skeptically. "Why should we trust an outsider?"

"Because I offer not just aid, but purpose," Naruto replied. "Your skills are invaluable."

They were a proud people, valuing honour above all else. Their willingness to commit seppuku rather than be captured spoke volumes of their discipline.

Over time, as Naruto improved their living conditions and provided opportunities, their scepticism faded. They displayed a fierce loyalty akin to that of the Okamihane Clan.

One day, Naruto confided in Karin. "Their devotion is remarkable. It's almost... unsettling."

She adjusted her glasses. "They value debt repayment above everything. You've given them a new lease on life."

"Perhaps," he mused. "But still, its humbling."

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Uniting eleven minor nations into a cohesive province was no small feat. Neo Uzu now spanned a territory rivalling any of the great nations, rich in resources and diversity.

At a grand assembly, representatives from each land gathered. The air buzzed with anticipation.

Naruto addressed the crowd from a raised platform. "We stand at the cusp of a new era," he declared. "Individually, you were vulnerable. Together, under the banner of Uzu we are invincible."

Cheers erupted, echoing across the assembly hall.

Mei stepped forward, her gaze sweeping over the audience. "We have overcome adversity and emerged stronger. Let us continue to build on this foundation."

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Late one night, Naruto stood alone atop the place in Neo-Uzu's capital in the old land of marches, the rebuilt structures standing as a testament to his efforts.

The stars shimmered above, and the sea's gentle waves provided a soothing backdrop.

"It's been quite the journey," came a voice behind him.

He turned to see Pakura approaching, a serene smile on her face.

"It has," Naruto acknowledged, his gaze fixed on the horizon. "But there's still so much left to do."

Pakura stepped up beside him, her presence steady and calm. "Do you ever rest?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.

Naruto chuckled softly, a faint smile touching his lips. "Rest is a luxury I can't afford," he said, his tone light yet resolute.

Pakura studied him thoughtfully. "You've given so many people hope, Naruto. But don't forget to take care of yourself. Even you have limits."

"All the more reason to keep moving forward," Naruto replied. His expression softened as he continued, almost as if speaking to himself. "One day, when my task is complete—when my master finally welcomes me back to the forest—I'll vanish. Like I was never here, like I was never part of this world."

Pakura blinked, taken aback by the solemnity in his words. "What?" she asked, her tone a mix of confusion and bit alarmed.

Naruto shook his head and smiled faintly, dismissing her concern with an ease that seemed almost practiced. "Nothing to worry about," he said, his voice lighter now. "Just the ramblings of a sleepy man."

Pakura frowned, unconvinced but unwilling to press further.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

In another time, on a secluded island...The sun cast a golden hue over the vast ocean, its rays illuminating an island that had remained hidden from the world for nearly five decades. Rising majestically from the center of the island was an impressive city, its architecture a blend of ancient craftsmanship and modern ingenuity. At the heart of the city stood the tallest tower—the Palace of the Uzukage.

Atop the palace, overlooking the city he had helped preserve, stood Rashirom Uzumaki, also known as "The Lone Eye." The wind rustled his cloak, revealing a face etched with the lines of countless battles. His singular eye, sharp and piercing, surveyed the horizon with nostalgia and a hint of anticipation.

Rashirom was no ordinary shinobi. At ninety years old, he carried the vigor and presence of a man decades younger—a testament to his pure Uzumaki heritage. A veteran jonin who had served under the esteemed Ashina Uzumaki, Rashirom had dedicated his life to safeguarding his clan. For years, he had roamed the world as a bounty hunter, to gather and protect scattered Uzumaki.

He had only one eye, yet few could claim to match his skill in a sword fight. The Akebino boy's arrogance had been swiftly dealt with on his first day among them. He had strutted in, boldly proclaiming himself the senior-most member of the Seven Swordsmen—or something equally absurd title.

These children, the man mused with a smirk, what do they truly know of swordsmanship? Of real combat?

To him, sword fighting wasn't about showmanship or boasting—it was survival, a deadly dance where a single misstep meant death. And so, he had put the boy in his place, ensuring that his first lesson he will never forget.

He sighed softly, recalling the countless times he had tried to reach Princess Kushina, only to be thwarted by constant surveillance. But now, news had reached him of the last of the main line—Naruto Uzumaki—roaming the world alone. A spark of hope ignited within him.

"Prince Arashi..." he whispered, memories flooding back. The resemblance between Naruto and His Grance Ashina's son- Arashi was uncanny—the same determined gaze, the same regal aura. Rashirom felt a surge of something. His years of labour, gathering and protecting the remnants of the Uzumaki, were about to bear fruit.

Behind him, footsteps approached. Turning, he saw a group of Uzumaki he had rescued over the years. fifteen in total, each carrying the blood of their clan. At the forefront stood Lord Suifu Uzumaki, an ancient yet formidable man. Once one of the five commanders of Uzu's forces under His Grace Ashina, Suifu was the Lord Grand Marshel of Uzu's force now 140 years old. Time had aged him, but his spirit remained unbroken.

Among the group was a old woman of 110 years, the esteemed head of the archives and mistress of barrier seals. The others varied in age, from energetic youths in their twenties to seasoned warriors in their forties and fifties. To Rashirom, they were all like children.

Flashback

The Land of Marches was a place of quiet beauty, with its marshlands shimmering under the afternoon sun. Naruto walked along a winding path, accompanied by Jinin. They were heading to an orphanage.

"How many children are there now?" Naruto asked, his eyes softening at the thought.

"Nearly fifty," Jinin replied. "All receiving education and training, just as you envisioned."

Naruto smiled. "Good."

Suddenly, a hooded figure leaped from the shadows, landing gracefully in their path. Jinin's hand instinctively went to his sword, while Naruto's senses went on high alert. He had felt two presences tailing them but had dismissed it. Now, he realized his error.

"Who are you?" Naruto demanded.

The hooded man chuckled softly. "An old acquaintance," he replied cryptically.

Ignoring the evasive answer, Naruto probed further. "How did you bypass our sensors and barriers? Not even Jiraiya's spies can infiltrate unnoticed."

The man tilted his head. "There are weaknesses in the Mind's Eye technique if not properly honed. As for your barriers, let's just say our seal mistress took control of them four hours ago."

Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief. "Impossible," he muttered. Naruto was dumbfounded—they had been without access to the barrier for four bloody hours, and no one had realized it. The sheer negligence... Reaching out with his chakra, he scanned the entire village, his energy swirling like a brewing storm. The sheer force of his chakra sent ripples through the air, causing leaves to rustle and distant villagers to pause in unease.

"Stand down, young prince," came a calm voice from behind the first figure. The second hooded figure smacked the first lightly on the back of the head, his voice low but firm. "Don't rile the prince up. Trust me, you don't want to be on the receiving end of his Storm Release—I learned that the hard way after a pranks."

The newcomer pulled back his hood, revealing an ancient face framed by long, white hair. His eyes held a depth of wisdom and experience that spoke of a life well-lived.

Jinin's eyes widened in shock. "It can't be," he whispered. "Rashirom... The Lone Eye? And that medallion... Lord Grand Marshal Suifu?"

He offered a slight smile. "It's been a long time since I've been recognized so quickly."

Naruto glanced between his companions and the newcomers. "You know these men?" he asked Jinin.

Jinin nodded slowly. "They are legends. Rashirom is one of the greatest sword masters to ever live. And Lord Suifu was a one of the five commander under His Grace Ashina Uzumaki himself."

Before Naruto could respond, a contingent of guards arrived. At the forefront was Kammado. His steps were measured, his sharp eyes scanning the scene.

The moment his gaze landed on the intruders, however, his composure faltered. Shock flickered across his face.

"Commander Rashirom? Lord Grand Marshal Suifu?" Kammado bowed deeply. "We thought you were lost to us."

Rashirom studied him for a moment. "Ah, the young boy of the Sura clan. You've grown."

Kammado flushed slightly. "It's an honor to see you again."

Suifu squinted at him. "Sura... I remember a Sayado Sura. Who are you?"

Kammado straightened. "My father, my lord. He served under you."

A flicker of recognition crossed Suifu's face. "Sayado's boy? He was a good man. Strong as an ox and twice as stubborn as a mule."

Naruto cleared his throat, bringing the focus back. "I appreciate the reunion, but I'd like some answers. Where have you been all these years? And how did you manage to fool my senses?"

They moved to a secluded clearing surrounded by towering trees. The late afternoon sun cast dappled shadows across the ground, creating an atmosphere of serenity amidst the tension.

Naruto sat opposite Rashirom and Suifu, with Jinin, Kammado, and Karin—who had arrived upon sensing Naruto's chakra surge—standing by.

Suifu began. "After the fall of Uzu, many of us scattered. It was His Graces Ashina's command that we protect ourselves and preserve the clan's knowledge. Rashirom here took it upon himself to pick my bloodied and unconscious self from battle field and deprive me of the honour of dyeing for Uzu."

Rashirom continued, his tone steady yet edged with a hint of pride. "We remained hidden, biding our time. Among us, we have Mithrusha Bachan—also known as Mithrusha Uzumaki, or 'The Repository.' She is 110 years old and was once the head of the Uzumaki archives, as well as a renowned seal mistress specializing in barriers.

It's thanks to her expertise that we were able to bypass your barriers and sensors. Our seal mistress is exceptionally skilled," he added, his words carrying a note of respect.

Rashirom's eye softened. "When I first saw you, I thought I was looking at Prince Arashi—the spitting image. His grace would be proud."

Karin stepped forward. "But you infiltrated our village, took control of our barriers. That could be seen as an act of aggression."

Suifu chuckled. "A test, my dear. And a lesson. There are always weaknesses to be found. Better that you learn this now."

Naruto considered their words. "Very well. I welcome you. Family is family and I can sense you people to the core. Bring the rest also into the fold."

Rashirom and Suifu exchanged a glance before both stood. In unison, they knelt before Naruto, their heads bowed.

"Prince Naruto Uzumaki," Suifu declared, "we pledge our loyalty to you. May our combined strength restore the glory of the Uzumaki clan."

Suifu added, "It is an honor to serve once more under the main line."

Naruto quickly moved to help him up. "Please, there's no need for that. You are esteemed elders; your guidance is invaluable."

Flashback End

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

It had been a year and a half since Rashirom had stepped foot in Uzu again, and in that time, he had watched the land transform into something that could only be described as ethereal. From atop the battlements of the Uzukage Palace, he gazed out over the city sprawled below, a vision of brilliance and purpose, every detail meticulously planned.

The Uzukage Palace itself was a marvel of architectural ingenuity. Built from gleaming white and crimson stone, the structure shimmered under the light as though the very material had been plucked from the heavens. Its spires rose defiantly into the sky, visible from any corner of Uzu, a proud testament to the Uzumaki Clan's rebirth. Carved seals adorned the walls, their ancient script humming with power.

The city surrounding the palace was equally breathtaking, its layout a reflection of the prince's vision for a new order and world. Divided into three grand zones primarily—each a world unto itself spans hundreds of acres on end.

Closest to the humongous city's borders lay the Common Zone or known as the outer ring, the beating heart of Uzu's population. Rows of homes, their exteriors crafted from polished marble and limestone, shimmered in the light like pearls. Streets paved with rough granite wove through neighbourhoods where life thrived—children laughing in the parks, vendors calling out from bustling marketplaces, and families gathering around communal fountains that glittered like jewels. This was where the people of Uzu the loyal once found their place.

Further inward lay the Trade Zone, a hive of commerce and creativity. This district was alive with activity—merchants showcasing wares from across the Elemental Nations, craftsmen hammering out intricate pieces of art and weaponry, and traders haggling over the price of goods under the vibrant banners of their stalls. The polished streets gleamed with activity, a living testament to Uzu's growing economic power. But this zone was not fully functional since Uzu was not open to the world yet.

But it was the Noble Zone that truly took Rashirom's breath away. Encircled by formidable walls and accessible through four grand gates, this district housed the clans and shinobi who had pledged their allegiance to the Uzumaki Clan and its Grace. Each compound was a work of art, blending security and culture with unparalleled grace.

The Yuki Clan's quarter resembled a frozen paradise, its crystalline ice structures catching the sunlight and refracting it into dazzling displays of colour. Nearby, the Roku Clan's enclave emanated a quiet warmth, their homes built from dark lava stone that glowed faintly in the moonlight, a silent reminder of their formidable Lava Release. The Okamihane Clan's quarters, by contrast, embraced naturalistic beauty, with motifs of wolves and wings carved into their buildings, blending elegance with primal strength.

Rashirom's gaze lingered on the shinobi hospital, a newly constructed jewel of the Noble Zone. There are many similar once in the other zones, not this big though. Overseen by Nono and the Rinha Clan, its seamless blend of advanced medical design and calming aesthetics was a marvel even by Uzu's elevated standards. Healing seals glowed softly on the walls, filling the air with a tranquil energy that seemed to radiate wellness.

Not far from the hospital stood the police headquarters, an imposing structure now under the stewardship of the Chinoike Clan. Once hunted and nearly exterminated, they had found refuge in the Prince's vision. Their Ketsuryūgan, a bloodline trait capable of manipulating iron-rich fluids, which made them a formidable force. Karin, with her unmatched sensory abilities aka a walking lie detector, served as their commander, ensuring the force operated under the Uzumaki. The ranks included members of the Chinoike , Okamihane and Kamizuru Clans, their keen senses and surveillance skills adding depth to the unit. These were the major contributor, others like individuals shinobi and other clans also joined the police force.

Even from his elevated position, Rashirom could see the roads of the city glinting like rivers of rough granite stone. Paved with rough granite and lined with luminescent markers, they guided the flow of people and goods through a city that seemed alive. Beneath the streets ran sewage systems and waterworks so sophisticated that they seemed decades ahead of the Elemental Nations. Fountains dotted the city, their crystal-clear streams catching the light and sending it dancing across the marble facades.

Lord Suifu had taken over the Uzumaki forces, and it was like a storm had hit the camp—though, honestly, a storm might've been gentler. The aged grand marshal who had difficulty in walking pulled recruits from every allied clan under Uzu's banner and got straight to work breaking them down in ways that made Kammado and Pakura's training look like a spa retreat.

The rookies were the first to crumble, their confidence evaporating faster than mist in the midday sun. Veterans didn't fare much better; some were even caught whispering that they'd rather take their chances against a wild tailed beast than another day under Suifu.

Kammado, watching from the sidelines, felt an unexpected pang of sympathy as the once-proud troops buckled under his drills looked about to die. He'd always considered himself a hard man, but Suifu's training made his own regimen look like storytime with milk and cookies.

The real kicker came when Suifu turned his attention to Kammado himself. First morning after observing the training that kammado put the force though, the old warhorse cornered him and went off like a cannon, pointing out flaws in the chain of command, inefficiencies in the training protocols, and holes in the system big enough to march an entire army through.

"You call this a military force?" Lord Suifu barked, his single eye blazing with contempt. "This is a daycare for oversized children!"

Kammado opened his mouth to defend himself but was immediately silenced with a glare that could've curdled milk.

"Boy, Meet me on the training grounds at sunrise " The grand Marshal growled. "I'll show you how it's done, I will show how I put your father through the phases."

The next morning, Kammado stood on the field, ram rod straight since he now had a superior, only to watch in horror as Lord Suifu put the troops through a routine that could only be described as a war crime in progress. The Grand Marshal didn't just drill them; he annihilated them. By noon, the rookies were begging for water, the veterans looked like they'd aged a decade, and Kammado—poor, broken Kammado—was seeing his younger self in all those recruits he used to complain about.

So this is what karma felt like.

"I get it now," Kammado muttered under his breath as Lord Suifu barked orders that had the troops scrambling. "I've become the whiny old man complaining about the good old days to younger chaps, and here's the ancient bastard who has seen the bloody warring clan era and now telling me how soft I've gotten." Last but not least, Kammado now have huge respect for his old man.

The difference, of course, was that Lord Suifu wasn't just talking. The old man had decades of battlefield experience and centuries of Uzumaki military tradition backing him up from the warring clan era. He spotted weaknesses that Kammado hadn't even known existed, the kind of flaws that only show up when you've either failed spectacularly or lived long enough to see every possible mistake firsthand.

By the time Lord Suifu was done restructuring the forces, Kammado was convinced of one thing: the Uzumaki forces weren't just soldiers anymore—they were survivors. Survivors of Suifu's boot camp, that is. And if they could handle that, the Elemental Nations didn't stand a chance.

Rashirom took command of the newly formed ANBU (Special Assassination and Tactical Squad) of Uzu, bringing his extensive experience and high-ranking background from his time in ANBU to its restructuring. Having served at the upper echelons of the force before leaving, he was well-equipped to refine its structure and operations.

While the foundation laid by Zabuza had been practical and effective, Rashirom's expertise elevated the unit to an entirely new level. Drawing from Zabuza's ruthless yet efficient methods, Rashirom seamlessly incorporated innovative strategies and techniques. He also integrated the Prince's invaluable insights gained during his time in Konoha's ANBU.

The result was a squad that embodied the best of both worlds—a synthesis of the disciplined traditions of old Uzu and the adaptive innovations of the new era. This restructured ANBU was not only a highly efficient and lethal force but one perfectly tailored to meet the unique challenges facing Uzu.

As his gaze swept from the huge whirlpools surrounding the islands, back to the Uzukage Palace, Rashirom allowed himself a moment of pride. This was no mere city. It was a legacy, legacy of his clan the Uzumaki. From the marble streets to the glowing palace spires, Uzu was more than a home. It was a promise to the world that the Uzumaki Clan had returned, stronger and tougher than ever before.
