Naruto: Hatake Zoro

One of the five great Ninja villages, remains victor in 3 great Ninja war, Producer of talents like Sannin whose names given by a legendary shinobi, Hanzo of the Salamander. 'White Fang' Hatake Sakumo, 'Yellow Flash' Namikaze Minato,.. there are still many great Ninjas. And Ones the ninja world feared person 'God of Shinobi' Senju Hashirama and his rival Madara Uchiha from two great clans are the one that created this 'Konoha' ninja Village that have this many reputations. This village is symbol of peace and hope for many people.

Now, this great 'Konoha', nothing more that aftermath of a Rampaged big fox beast. Ones the street that is followed with happy laughs now becomes quiet. Ones a happy family house, is became wasteland with a big foot print on it. Ones the happy child or recently pregnant woman or elderly couple, now lost their dear ones. Konoha was crying, wailing, cursing, finally becomes sad, guilt, regret, and just...tired.

Morning

The familiar sound of birds, playing children, market vendors, gossipy old ladies,... nothing can be heard across the Konoha. Konoha is quiet, dead quiet. But everyone wearing black clothes and head towards cemetery where the Konoha heroes were lays. Set of Ninjas already relayed village wide the information, first thing in the morning.

Soon, everyone gathered around the said area, Third Hokage and top level people are standing in the front of big crowd. Sombre mode is going on around the crowd. After all the murmur died down, Third Hokage starts his speech.

Here's an attempt at a speech by the Third Hokage to the villagers of Konoha after the Nine-Tails' attack, focusing on the sacrifice of the Fourth Hokage and aiming for easy understanding:

"My friends, my neighbors, my fellow villagers… We have suffered a terrible loss. The Nine-Tails… it brought unimaginable destruction. Many of you have lost loved ones, homes, and the very ground beneath your feet. Grief and anger are heavy burdens to bear."

Hiruzen waited for sometimes, then continued

"But let us not forget the courage shown by our brave ninjas. They fought valiantly, even in the face of overwhelming odds. And… our beloved Fourth Hokage… he sacrificed himself to seal the monster. He gave his life to protect us all."

Hiruzen took a pause, some villagers suddenly began to cry and murmur continued. After some times. He continued

"His and all those brave sacrifices… it reminds us that even in the darkest of times, there is still good in this world. There is still strength in our unity. We must not let this tragedy break us. We must rebuild, not just our homes, but our spirits.

We must support each other. Help those who are in hurt. Remember the kindness of those we've lost. And let their memory inspire us to be stronger, kinder, and more united than ever before."

Most faces became slight bright and hope can be found in their thoughts.

"Konoha will rise again. We will overcome this. We will honor the memory of the Fourth Hokage by living lives worthy of his sacrifice.

And I, Sarutobi Hiruzen, will protect Konoha and its people until my last breath."others

There is no applause or cheers, this is not normal event. As this is a sad things, everyone just acknowledged third hokage speech.

"Kakashi-nii, who is that geezer. What is he saying." Zoro asked slowly to Kakashi. "He is our Third Hokage, He is saying that Fourth Hokage is sacrificed himself to save the Village" Kakashi said after sometimes with sad voice. "Who is 4th Hokage?" Zoro continued. "His name is Namikaze Minato, He was incredibly fast, like a flash of yellow! He could teleport anywhere in an instant. But he wasn't just super strong, he was also really kind and believe in those in doubt.. and in me.." Kakashi said last sentence to himself.

As they paid their respect and moved towards their temporary home which is an apartment that didn't damaged in Kyuubi wrath, "Nii-chan... when will grandma wake up." Zoro asked with some sadness in his eyes. Kakashi memories moved to yesterday.

...Kakashi was leaning in the shelter's wall, while zoro sleeping on his laps. yuri (iryo-nin) exited the tent with some exhaustion over her. Kakashi took a small pillow like a magician and place it under zoro's head. Then he walked towards yuri. "Is she okay?" he asked. "Yes, we treated her body injuries. She is now resting..." yuri said uncertainly. "Is there something wrong?" Kakashi asked.

"Its that, she is currently in coma, we tried to induce her to wake up. But our chunnin strength can't break into her mind. We can only wait for yamanaka Jonin. But they can't be reached for now. We can only know tomorrow." Iryo-nin finished saying. Kakashi became sad when hearing this, but still he have some hope for tomorrow.

"Soon, Zoro..." Kakashi replied zoro. After reaching the apartment. "Zoro, wait here. There is food in the kitchen, eat lunch. I have to go now." Kakashi said, "Okay.." Zoro replied absentmindedly without listening. Kakashi left zoro in the apartment and went outside.

'Nii-chan said grandma will wake up soon. If she wakes up, I will definitely won't pester her about onigiri. I will make her the shio-sake onigiri myself daily that can heal her and make her happy like it is doing to me. And.. And I will listen to her daily. Won't make her mad.." *whimper**sobs**sobs* Zoro cried alone in the hall.

'She protected me.. that's why she is not waking up. I heard big sister saying to nii-san in the morning. She said it will be diff.. diffic..difficult for her to wake up. That means she can't wake up right? She can only sleep, right? This is because of me. I saw how the huge purple ball destroyed the cave-like thing quickly. I know.. she protected me by hugging. It is all because of me', Zoro continuously blamed himself. *sobs**sobs* and cried a lot.

Kakashi now checked his friends, see if they are okay. and done some missions within the village, as the village is dire situation. After evening, He sees a vendor stall that sell onigiri, "Give me shio-sake onigiri, to go please" Kakashi said to the vendor.

After buying, he soon reached apartment. "I am home" kakashi said while removing his footwear. Suddenly he sees zoro sleeping on the hall. He can see the zoro's tears trail in his face while sleeping peacefully. Seeing this Kakashi heart suddenly had some guilt, then he carries zoro into the room and tucked him into the bed.

Kakashi, then walked towards balcony as the apartment is in the 1st floor. All over Konoha there is construction happening here and there. Few people can be seen walking down the street, and few food vendors who would sell their products loudly, just standing there in silence while some people buying from them quietly. Apart from construction sound, there is not much sound can be heard.

'Susuna-san, I hoped Zoro will grow up normally until his ninja career. But, now it is difficult to reach that goal.' Kakashi slowly remembered what happens in the hospital.

Kakashi along with zoro moved to the hospital in early morning from the shelter. Zoro who was still sleeping, slowly laid him in a bench while Kakashi waited patiently for the result. Soon middle aged woman who seems like Jonin came outside the operation theater. "What happened?, Sora-san, is she alright?" Kakashi asked. *sigh* "Kakashi-san, I tried my best, but susuna-san can't come outside from her protective shell. She also not allowing anyone near that shell, I forced to enter but it back lashed. It will be difficult for her to wake up." while saying Sora asked to follows her into the operation theater.

"Now we can only hope for her to wake up herself. And Kakashi-san.. she can only live for 6 months maximum. She forced herself to use chakra even when she had no chakra. It affected her life force. Even with everything we could, we can't prolong her more than that. Stay strong." after saying this she exited the room leaving only Kakashi and susuna.

'Susuna-san, I know you loved zoro very much. But you didn't show it openly. Don't worry, I will protect him in your stead.' Kakashi thought and looked at the distance sun that hides in the back of hokage faces mountain. Then he looked at the Fourth hokage image, "Sensei... You didn't say goodbye.." Kakashi mumbled to himself, while having some tears in his eyes.
