After 15 minutes, Team Orca kept killing spiders, but at last, their numbers started to dwindle.

Finally, Hayate realized Ikki's intentions. They focused on wiping out all the other spiders. Based on their mother's command, they all focused on the others. In the mother spider's view, Ikki was only her prey. She didn't realize that the person she was dealing with was no ordinary person. She didn't even manage to make a scratch on Ikki. Ikki dodged or parried all of her attacks.

Ikki checked his surroundings.

Ikki got serious. Chikako and Hinari were taking care of the remaining spiders. Hayate was already done with his side of the work and was observing all of the kids.

The air around Ikki changed.

Ikki: "Let's end this."

Hayate, seeing this, realized how serious Ikki could get. Even the mother spider realized she had messed up.

Ikki performed Seishuku Shunshin no Jutsu (Still Body Flicker Technique). In the eyes of Hayate and the mother spider, Ikki was still standing there. But in the next moment, the mother spider split into eight pieces.

Ikki: "Yatagarasu."

For the first time, Hayate realized how correct his decision was to pass this team without continuing the exam. He got lucky; otherwise, that exam could have gotten quite troublesome. This sword technique had just opened his eyes to how elegant and powerful sword techniques could be. Sighing, Hayate started helping the team flush out the other spiders.

After 15 minutes, they had wiped out all the spiders.

Ikki: "It took more time than I anticipated."

Chikako: "Don't gloat."

Hinari: "Don't get arrogant."

Hayate, seeing this, chuckled.

Ikki: "Hayate-sensei, do we need to take anything for the completion of the mission?"

Hayate: "No need. I already witnessed the mission. I will report this to Hokage. This mission is in the range of a high C-rank."

Ikki: "Okay, we will get a nice reward for this. Okay, Orcas, to the next mission."

Hayate stumbled, listening to this, and they proceeded to the next mission.

Over the next 3 weeks, they continued to travel.

First: The Village of Hot Steam. There they found a hyena attacking the village. They dealt with it quite easily. It was just a mad dog.

Second: They traveled to the Village of Honey, where they dealt with a boar.

Chikako: "That boar was quite delicious."

Hayate already knew Ikki was vegetarian, so he didn't have any reaction to this.

Third: They visited the area around the borders of the Land of Fire and Wind. There they found a crab. A huge crab. Calling it a king crab would be a joke. It was around the size of a full-grown rhino.

Ikki: "Okay, guys, before we start, let's formulate the plan. First—"

Before Ikki could finish, Hinari, with unbelievable speed, attacked the crab with a Knuckle Point Gentle Fist strike to its head. This sent the crab to heaven quite easily.

Ikki: "When women are hungry, they are scary."

Chikako | Hayate: "Agreed."

They had a feast that night too.

Chikako: "The pattern of us encountering edible animals—why do I think the next and last one will also be a fish?"

Ikki: "The last one is in the forest, so I don't agree with it. And don't instigate Hinari. I am scared of her now."

After traveling for about 3 more days, they reached the Village of Green Stones. After meeting the village chief, they found a unique situation.

Village Chief: "We have captured that monster."

Ikki: "Ehhh. But you sent a request for dealing with it."

Village Chief: "Actually, it was destroying people's things. So we sent a request to deal with it. But coincidentally, one village boy started to feed the monster, and it attached to that boy. The boy kept feeding it, so it stopped destroying things."

Chikako: "What is this monster?"

Village Chief: "A monkey."

Ikki: "Normal monkeys are intelligent, so it's normal for this one to be as well. How large is it?"

Village Chief: "1 foot."

Chikako: "Are you confusing it with a normal monkey?"

Village Chief: "Normally, you would think that, but it has two tails."

Ikki: "Can we see it?"

Village Chief: "Let's go."
