Naruto: Creating Immortal Techniques at Six, Shocking Uncle Snake

Chapter 158: Chapter 153: The Sage of Six Paths’ Intentions!

Chapter 153: The Sage of Six Paths' Intentions!

After Ishihara developed the Tailed Beast Training Method, his eyes unexpectedly transformed into the Rinnegan!

This left Ishihara stunned. It seemed this wasn't merely a Tailed Beast Training Method, but a method of cultivating for eternal life using chakra!

It contained not only the power of the Tailed Beasts but also the power of all chakras. However, the chakra within appeared to lack a small portion, likely due to the God Tree's influence dispersing it too extensively.

This reminded Ishihara of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.

That woman, known as the progenitor of chakra, was a force to be reckoned with. If he could somehow subdue her, he might uncover the secrets of immortality through her.

This would far surpass his current situation, where his lifespan could only reach a maximum of 100,000 years.

While 100,000 years was neither too short nor too long, Ishihara knew it wasn't enough.

Just as Ishihara was deep into his research, Uchiha Madara abruptly interrupted his train of thought.

"Damn it! You don't seriously think you're still a match for me, do you? I now possess the power of the Sage of Six Paths!" Madara boasted arrogantly, his strength having reached unprecedented levels, inflating his confidence.

However, Ishihara ignored him entirely, turning his attention back to exploring the powers of his newly acquired Rinnegan.

His Rinnegan had appeared out of nowhere, and he was eager to understand its abilities. Surely, it wouldn't take long to find out.

Meanwhile, in another location...

Inside a grand palace:

"That guy actually broke through my seal and caused such a commotion in the Ninja World.

Ashura and Indra failed to deal with him. It seems I made a mistake in my assessment..." the Sage of Six Paths said helplessly.

He had initially believed that his hidden manipulations would be sufficient to eliminate Ishihara. Who would've thought that not only did the man survive, but he also grew even stronger, surpassing even the Sage himself in death transformation speed!

If this continued, it was only a matter of time before his mother, Lady Kaguya, was captured.

The Sage of Six Paths dreaded Kaguya's revival more than anything. Her power was unfathomable, and even though most of his being had undergone death transformation, she still filled him with fear.

Thus, he decided to intervene once more from the shadows.

This time, he would significantly enhance the powers of the two children of destiny while preparing to confront Ishihara.

Ishihara would inevitably find and confront him. Their clash was unavoidable.

Without hesitation, the Sage of Six Paths, in his spiritual form, approached Naruto and Sasuke...

Naruto had collapsed unconscious after having the Nine-Tails extracted from him. Sasuke lay unconscious nearby as well.

As Naruto thought his end was near, the Sage of Six Paths appeared.

Before him was a blank, white expanse. Naruto felt utterly lost.

It was said that a Jinchūriki would die after having their Tailed Beast extracted. Was this true?

Had he already died?

Was this the world after death?

Kurama! I'm sorry I couldn't save you!

Naruto clenched his fists in regret. If only he had tried harder, perhaps these tragedies could have been avoided.

He should have listened to Kurama from the start—training diligently, growing stronger to protect his comrades and fight for them!

"...Naruto... Naruto... Naruto..."

As Naruto wallowed in regret, a voice echoed repeatedly in his mind.

Who was calling him? Naruto looked around in confusion but saw no one.

As he squinted, wondering if it was a hallucination, an elderly figure appeared before him—sporting two horns, brown hair, a white robe, and nine Truth-Seeking Balls floating behind him.

Naruto stared at the old man in bewilderment, not knowing who he was.

"Old man, who are you? Have you come to take me to the afterlife?" Naruto asked naively.

The man shook his head and replied, "Naruto, do you want revenge?"

"Revenge?" Naruto was taken aback.

What revenge? He only wanted to save the Nine-Tails and prevent more harm to everyone.

Naruto's thoughts mirrored those of Hashirama Senju—he simply wanted peace in the Ninja World.

The Sage of Six Paths looked at Naruto with satisfaction and nodded. Naruto's ideals aligned with his own—or rather, with his need for someone like Naruto to maintain stability in the Ninja World.

Ideally, the Ninja World would forever remain at its current level without further development.

One strong figure—himself—was enough.

The Sage decided to pass his power to Naruto and Sasuke, ensuring they could join forces to defeat Uchiha Madara and Ishihara.

At worst, Naruto could destroy the Ten-Tails, scattering and reassembling its chakra, delaying Kaguya's revival.

As for Ishihara?

So long as the Sage of Six Paths lived, he would ensure that Ishihara could never enter the afterlife!

After transferring his powers, the Sage began preparing seals to block both the living and the dead from accessing the afterlife.

It could be said that the Sage of Six Paths was becoming increasingly deranged in his pursuit of consolidating his dominance.
