My Werewolf System

Saiber's voice was loud and clear and travelled through the entire ship. His voice was demanding and commanding. It was strange because he wasn't using an amplified mask or anything like that, just hearing him shout, was what Gary imagined commanders needed to be like on the battlefield.

Due to Saiber's warning those that were on the top deck turned to the workers by their side. Some of them just moments ago they were talking pleasantly about their families or their trips and dreams they had.

In an instant that all changed and the Altered hunters pulled out their weapons without a second thought.

One charged in and shoved a spike ball into the centre of a worker, whose body started to transform.

The spikes ball activated and electrified the entire Werewolf's body. It still seemed strong and relatively resilient, but a split second was all that was needed for the Altered Hunters to attack.

Those with large swords stabbed the back of the Werewolf several times until the sword went right through their bodies causing them to fall to the floor.

All of the workers hearing the warning message were starting to transform but it was all a little too slow compared to how fast the Altered hunters had acted and were attacking.

One of the Werewolves had managed to leap on top of a hunter who had shoved his weapon directly in the mouth of the beast, to stop it from clamping down and biting its head off.

A large heavy club was used as it crashed against the back of the Werewolf's head the sound of its skull being crushed was heard, but the werewolf was still moving.

From across the other side an iron bolt was shot out going through the side of the Werewolves head finishing it off.

Finally there seemed to be some calm on the upper deck.

"Count!" One of the hunters shouted.

The hunters looked around them saying either 0 or 1 and then the hunter eventually answered.

"We lost…we lost two!" The hunter answered.

On the top of the deck there were six workers, which meant six Werewolves had attacked them.

Thankfully without hesitation the hunters had acted as soon as they heard Saiber's words. So it was almost as if the Altered Hunters were the one who had surprised attacked them.

They could only react so fast because on this mission some of the very best hunters were selected. They weren't just regular hunters and yet, despite them attacking first and being the very best they had still lost two hunters before even reaching the bitonic Garden.

"What about Siaber!" A hunter asked. "He went down to the lower deck right, he shouted earlier something must be up, we have to check it out!"

On the lower deck there were more workers present so one would think the Altered Hunters would have more trouble but that wasn't the case because Saiber was there.

Gary watched as he had gone head to head with a fully transformed Werewolf he avoided each strike and cut several parts with his two blades.

He was hitting the Werewolf twice to every one strike of the Werewolf. As much as Gary hated the guy he had to admit one thing the man was extremely talented.

After stabbing the werewolf from the top of the head which seemed to be his signature move, he quickly leapt from his position and landed on the back of another.

He stabbed both of his red blades into the back of the Werewolf and constantly did so before it would fall.

Gary didn't need to worry about him but he could see one werewolf had whacked a hunter and his back had smashed against the railing bending it and almost falling into the river.

a far distance away Gary ran up to one of the hunters that had just finished fighting and grabbed onto the hunters sword.

With all his strength and without transforming he hurled it in the air and the sword went right through the Werewolf.

From one side and out of the other, causing the werewolf to drop dead.

'I was in a rush and couldn't hold back my strength, I hope no one saw that.' Gary thought.

Thankfully though he could tell from the sounds and everything going on things had settled down, the fighting had stopped.

"133 go check the captains quarters and make sure were still on course I seem to remember you had some experience with ships right?" Saiber asked.

"Yes sir." The agent said running off.

Right after hunters could be seen running down the stairs in a panic.

"Count?" Saiber asked.

"2."

"In total that makes three." Saiber shook his head. "And we haven't even made it to the garden yet."

"How did this happen sir?" The agent asked. "They were part of the hunters association right. Don't we test to see if they are Altereds before joining, this shouldn't of happened."

"There's two answers to that either they became Altered after or they have a way to bypass our tests. We can't trust anyone but ourselves now." Saiber said.

The hunter turned his head and met eyes with Gary.

"What about him, he joined as blackjacks apprentice right and at the last second, so how are we meant to trust him."

The hunter started to move towards Gary And was close to drawing his weapon before Saiber stepped in and held his hand.

"He's on our side I can assure you of that." Saiber said, he could have said more how the situation would have been worse without the rookies help but instead he had something else on his mind.

Walking over to Gary Saiber looked at him.

"How did you know, how did you know they were all Altered."
