My Love Debts Are Everywhere!

Chapter 324: A Mysterious Black Shadow and the Emergence of the Great Sword of Chaos on the Battlefield

*Boom!*

A deafening explosion echoed from above as ominous black clouds spiraled together, forming a massive vortex in the sky.

Sinister red lightning flashed incessantly, casting a terrifying scene as if the world itself were on the brink of destruction.

The sheer horror of the spectacle froze everyone in place—human soldiers and demon soldiers alike, gripped by fear.

"What's happening? Is this the end of the world?"

"I don't know, but it sure looks like it's the end of the world!"

"Damn it! We need to get out of here!"

Fear surged through the ranks of humanity's army at the sight of the catastrophic phenomenon. Many soldiers considered fleeing, but none dared to take the first step. To flee would mean abandoning their honor—a disgrace no soldier could bear.

In the end, they chose to stand firm, even if it meant sacrificing their lives.

On the demon army's side, the worry was just as palpable. Though many were tempted to retreat, none made a move. Subconsciously, all eyes turned to Kaelen at the forefront, waiting for his decision.

"Kaelen, what should we do? Should we retreat?" One of the demon soldiers asked, his eyes fixed on the darkening sky.

A wave of dread suddenly washed over him, and he quickly averted his gaze, afraid to look any longer.

Upon hearing the soldier's question, Kaelen paused, his expression serious.

His gaze shifted to Leon, who was being overwhelmed by the three human heroes, and concern flickered in his eyes.

Taking a deep breath, Kaelen shook his head and answered firmly, "We're not retreating. Stay in your positions."

His response shocked the demon soldiers, leaving them momentarily speechless.

They exchanged uncertain looks, but after a moment, their expressions hardened, and they nodded resolutely.

"Very well, Kaelen. We'll follow your lead," one of the soldiers said.

"Yes, we'll stay by your side. If we die, we'll die honorably," another soldier added.

Kaelen exhaled in relief, his gaze softening as he looked at them.

"Thank you," he said quietly.

...

"Hm~"

Fiona lay on the bed, her eyes closed, but she couldn't fall asleep.

She tossed and turned, frustrated by her restlessness.

"I can't sleep,"

she whispered softly, slowly opening her wide, round eyes.

With an adorable pout, she gazed up at the dark ceiling before quickly sitting up.

Her eyes moved first to the left, where Charlotte was sleeping soundly, then to the right, where Iris lay on her back, peaceful and still.

Seeing her two sisters asleep made Fiona feel a pang of jealousy.

"Humph! I knew this would happen. I can't sleep without Daddy by my side,"

Fiona murmured sadly.

Tears welled up in her eyes at the thought of not seeing her father for over a month.

"Wuuu! Daddy, you're so cruel,"

she whimpered, her lips pursed in frustration.

Ever since her daddy entered her life, everything seemed brighter, and she couldn't bear the thought of being apart from him.

Even just a day without him felt like torture—how could she stand more than a month?

After crying for a good ten minutes, Fiona finally stopped, too exhausted to continue.

Just then, a brilliant idea popped into her head, and a joyful smile spread across her tear-streaked face.

"Hehehe! Just because I can't sleep in my room doesn't mean I can't sleep in Daddy's room,"

she whispered to herself, giggling.

In her daddy's room, his scent lingered on the blankets, pillows, and sheets, which would make her feel as if he were right beside her.

Proud of her cleverness, Fiona puffed out her small chest with a sense of accomplishment.

"Humph! Who said I'm not as smart as my older sisters? Clearly, I'm the smartest little girl among us,"

she muttered, beaming with pride.

Quietly, Fiona slid off the bed, careful not to wake her two sisters. She grabbed her Teddy Bear from the nightstand and tiptoed out of the room.

As she walked down the hallway toward her father's room, she glanced around cautiously, ensuring there were no maids or guards on patrol.

"

Phew!

The palace is so quiet at this hour," Fiona whispered, feeling relieved.

She continued her way until she finally stood before her daddy's door.

"Wow! I can't wait!" Fiona giggled with excitement, taking a pink key from her pocket and inserting it into the keyhole.

She turned the key, hearing a satisfying

"clack,"

then gently pushed the door open.

As it creaked open, the sight of the room inside made her eyes sparkle with delight.

"Hehehe! I'm here!" She laughed, rushing toward the bed on her tiny legs and jumping onto it.

She rolled around happily, the familiar scent of her daddy lingering in the sheets, making her giggle with joy.

"Daddy, I missed you~" Fiona murmured softly as she hugged the bolster beside her.

She clutched it tightly, as though it were Leon, and sleepiness quickly overtook her.

"Fiona…"

Just as she was about to drift off, her eyes snapped open, and she sat up quickly, her gaze turning to the balcony with a blank expression.

"What's going on? Why do I feel like something's calling me?" Fiona blinked in confusion.

She had heard a faint voice calling her, and it seemed to be coming from the balcony.

"Am I hallucinating?" Fiona scratched her head, uncertain.

"Fiona…"

The voice came again, clearer this time, and Fiona's eyes widened in surprise.

"That's right! I'm not hallucinating!" Fiona pouted, furrowing her brows.

She stared at the balcony for a moment, then decided to investigate. Her curiosity got the better of her—who could be calling her name so persistently?

Quickly, she hopped off the bed and walked toward the balcony. But when she reached it, there was no one in sight.

"Why is no one here?" Fiona looked around, peering left and right, but found nothing.

Just as confusion gripped her, a black shadow in the shape of a man suddenly appeared in front of her, startling Fiona.

"Who are you? Are you a ghost?" Fiona inquired, her voice trembling as she staggered backward in fear.

The shadow remained silent, his cold gaze fixed on her.

"The Fated One's Seed... must die," the shadow muttered indifferently, extending a hand toward her.

Fiona tried to run, but a force locked her in place, and tears began to stream down her cheeks.

"

Wuuu~

Don't touch me!" Fiona sobbed desperately.

But the shadow ignored her pleas, and just as his hand was about to reach her, something unexpected happened.

The star-shaped necklace around her neck suddenly emitted a bright gray light.

The light caused the shadow's eyes to widen in horror.

"What is that...?" he began, but before he could finish, the gray light engulfed him, shattering his body into pieces and leaving nothing behind.

It all happened so quickly that Fiona barely registered what had occurred.

When she cautiously opened her eyes, the terrifying black shadow was gone.

"Huh? What happened? Why did the shadow disappear?" Fiona wondered inwardly, confused, as she wiped the remaining tears from her eyes.

She blinked several times to confirm if she was dreaming. But when the scene in front of her remained unchanged, she became convinced that this was no dream.

"Maybe I was just hallucinating," Fiona muttered, scratching her small head.

Suddenly, a wave of sleepiness washed over her. She decided not to dwell on it and returned to Leon's room to sleep.

What Fiona didn't notice was that, as she left, a handsome, white-haired middle-aged man with a blindfold materialized in the spot where she had been standing.

He stared indifferently at the spot where the mysterious shadow had been shattered and sighed softly.

"I didn't expect them to move so quickly. It seems my interference accelerated a timeline that wasn't meant to unfold yet," the middle-aged man murmured calmly.

"Still, this small shift won't disrupt my plans. With the necklaces I gave them, the girls should be safe—even if those damned gods descend upon this world, they won't be able to reach them," he added, a faint smile tugging at his lips.

His gaze drifted into the distance, towards the Desert of Chaos, and a soft chuckle escaped his lips.

"The Great Sword of Chaos and the Three Holy Weapons, fragments of the true Holy Sword of Zenith, are now gathered in one place. I'm certain that damned evil god has sensed it, and there's no way he'll stay silent. Before too long, he will undoubtedly make his move," he whispered, then continued, "Once that happens, your battle with him will truly begin, Leon Kruger. I hope you can see it through to the end without leaving any regrets."

After speaking, he turned his gaze to the sleeping Fiona in the room, offering a gentle smile before his figure dissolved into a shard of light and vanished.

...

The black clouds above the sky continued to swirl, accompanied by the deafening crack of red lightning that occasionally struck down.

At the sight, Jim and Guren were overcome with dread, especially Jim. His body felt as though it had been hit by an overwhelming force, leaving him breathless.

"What's happening? What is this phenomenon?"

Jim wondered inwardly, his heart pounding in fear.

Meanwhile, Valen and Luna, who were about to complete their hero techniques, immediately halted and retreated several hundred meters away from Leon, joining Jim and Guren.

"Valen, do you feel it?" Luna asked cautiously.

"Yes, I feel it," Valen replied grimly, his eyes narrowing as he focused on Leon, who was slowly regaining control of his body.

Leon smiled coldly at them, raising his right hand high.

A moment later, a black point of light appeared at the center of the swirling dark clouds and descended at an astonishing speed.

As the black light appeared, a crushing pressure descended upon the entire Demon army, the human army, and even Jim, Guren, Valen, and Luna.

The three holy weapons—the Holy Spear of Soaring Dragon, the Holy Bow of Celestial Frost, and the Holy Sword of Zenith—gripped tightly by Luna, Valen, and Guren, trembled violently, as if confronted by an overwhelmingly powerful force.

The black light stopped abruptly in Leon's hand, transforming into an exquisite black sword.

Leon gently ran his fingers along the blade, then swung it forward, aiming it toward Jim, Guren, Valen, and Luna.

"Then, let's end this," he said coldly.
