My accidental isekai life as a Plunderer

Smashing the final head of a magma serpent, Shea ended the trial and landed back at one of the stone pillars.

"Haa… it's finally over," Shea said, slightly relaxed after not finding any serpent nearby, letting her guard down slightly. She then looked in Shizuku's direction.

Shizuku also finished cutting down one of the last serpents' heads and sat down on one of the pillars, exhausted. The large amount of magic she had been using had drained her quite a bit.

Shea saw her fine and was about to look in Yue and Tio's direction.

Suddenly, a blinding flash of light appeared in the air where Hajime was fighting, followed by a roar.

"Haaaa!" 

Looking in that direction, she saw Hajime being attacked by a white dragon that carried the demon Rihito had warned everyone about.

Hajime defended himself with his shield while being pushed back.

Shea saw Hajime getting pushed back like this and was surprised. For as long as she knew him, she had never seen him struggle. So, seeing Hajime struggle was quite a surprise.

"Hajime!"

"Master!"

Shea then heard Yue and Tio calling him as both of them flew to him.

While that happened, she noticed Shizuku coming to her location.

"Shea, should we help," Shizuku asked, worried for Hajime's safety. She knows he is strong, but seeing him push back like this worried her.

"No," Shea shook her head.

"Let Yue and Tio handle it. In our current state, instead of helping, we might hinder them. So, we should focus on the trial," Shea made the judgement. 

Shizuku understood what Shea meant and looked in Hajime's direction, then focused on the place where the magma dome was.

Shizuku noticing something strange pointed. "Hey look at that. The dome, it's collapsing," Shizuku pointed, seeing the bizarre phenomenon.

Shea turned her head and looked in the direction where the magma dome lay.

The magma dome that covered the small island-like pedestal slowly flows down, revealing what lies beneath it.

It was a large, black, cube-like structure, it is likely the thing that held ancient magic.

Shea seeing the black box structure started to walk towards it, wanting to inspect it. 

Shizuku saw her and started to follow.

Jumping from one stone pillar to another, Shea and Shizuku got to the closest pillar, only a jump away from reaching their target.

Suddenly, their instincts screamed at them, warning of danger. Shizuku and Shea looked up and saw a white, laser-like dragon breath heading straight for them. Shizuku and Shea attempted to jump out of the way, but the breath attacks were too fast. Unable to escape, both used their weapons as shields to protect themselves.

Just when the attack was about to hit them, a blur appeared before them, blocking the breath attack.

Booom!!

The explosion spread a flashing light that forced the girls to close their eyes. As the eyes settled both of the girls saw the person that stopped the attack and it was…

"Tohru," Shizuku called out.

Seeing the blond dragon girl suddenly appearing and saving them they were thankful. But more than that…

Looking at Tohru, both Shea's and Shizuku's eyes lit up. Tohru was here, so that means…

Shizuku and Shea looked towards the place where Hajime and others were fighting. Both girl's eyes darted around in search of him, and then they saw him. There he was standing in the air facing the demon.

""Rihito…"" both of them called out. 

Shea and Shizuku both were happy. But soon they noticed something off with Rihito.

[Rihito? Is he angry?] Both of them thought.

After sending Tohru to assist Shea and Shizuku, Rihito observed Hajime, Yue, and Tio as they defended against the sudden attack from the white dragon.

Freid with Uranos suddenly teleported in front of them blocking their way and then directly attacking them with a breath attack, diverting their attention. 

Yue and Tio seeing the incoming attack both simultaneously used 'Hallowed Ground' the strongest defensive magic.

Booom!!!

'Hallowed Ground' with the combined casting of Yue and Tio easily blocked the attack creating another flash of light.

Rihito taking advantage of the light, appeared right behind Freid and gazed coldly at him. He had clearly seen Freid ordering the wyverns to attack Shea and Shizuku, which could have led to serious injuries or, in the worst-case scenario, their deaths.

The mere thought of losing one of them sparked a fit of blazing anger throughout his body. At that moment he wanted to shred Freid limb by limb. His anger was so great even when he was hiding his presence, aura, and intent it was still somehow able to make the atmosphere chill.

[How dare he attack them. I will kill them. Kill them all…] Thoughts like this started to appear in his mind. [How dare he, how dare you. I will Kill, Kill, Kill, Kill, Kill…]

While in a strange trance, Rihito activated the and pulled out Muramasa Hilt. As he grasped the hilt, a strange jolt ran through his body, snapping him out of his state of anger.

[Huh? What was that?] 

Rihito snapped out of that state, momentarily confused about what had just happened. He had almost lost control. How was that possible? From the moment he began his training, Rihito focused on mastering his emotions in every situation. He was well aware of the original Rihito's weakness; whenever that version unleashed his full power, he would lose control. With this in mind, Rihito trained diligently until he achieved almost perfect control over his emotions.

And then that jolt. What was that? Rihito looked at Muramasa in his hand.

He shook his head and decided to put his thoughts aside for the moment. For now, getting information from Freid was more important. Although Rihito still felt anger, it was not as intense as before. He was now in complete control, watching Freid like a hawk.

Rihito stopped using his to reveal himself.

Freid suddenly sensed an unknown presence behind him. He instantly, without hesitation, pulled out the sword hanging near his waist and swung backwards, aiming for the enemy's neck.

Rihito saw the sword slowly advancing toward his neck. In response, he exhaled his breath targeting the sword, using . The blast of wind collided with Freid's blade, causing the sword to fly out of his hand.

Clang! 

Freid seeing the absurd scene, was baffled. [What the hell was that?] 

Freid didn't understand what he just witnessed. The human who suddenly appeared behind blew away his sword swing with his breath.

What absurdity is this…

Freid was so startled that he wasn't able to balance himself, so he fell from Uranos's back.

"Rooaa!!"

Uranos roared seeing his master fall and tried to fly after him.

DOPANn!!

Uranos sensing danger curled its wings to dive and dodge the bullet. But there too he was blocked.

"Huff… oh how the tables have turned," Tio said blocking Uranos's way to his master.

"Rooaa!!" Uranos roared trying to intimidate Tio, but to his frustration, Tio was not affected.

"Huff… you think that just because you look like a dragon, you can scare me. Let me show you what a real dragon is really like." Saying this, she transformed into her dragon form.

"Gaarrah!!!"
