Chapter 4204 Taurus City
Chapter 4204 Taurus City
"Let's leave, people are watching," said Carter, and we moved.
A few minutes later, we were out of the destabilized space, and once again, Carter covered us in the sphere and surfed it across the space.
"You should be careful from now on. Three-line cult is quite vengeful," he advised.
"Every cult is," I replied. To that, he nodded somberly.
Yes, killing a member of a three-line cult was dangerous, but I couldn't let them get away after they tried to kill me. They deserved to be dead.
It's such a regret that I wasn't able to kill the woman, I might have if I had used the strings, but that wasn't an option with so many Primes around us.
If I had shown that, even Carter would have joined them to get me.
Once again, I sat down and brought out the puzzle as we moved. There is nothing else
to do, and I don't mind it; it is quite refreshing to focus on something fun.
Hours passed, and after a total of eight and a half hours of travel, we had our destination.
"Home sweet home," said Carter as we stopped.
In front of us is a massive city nestled in the mountains, with three artificial rings around it.
Taurus City.
It is also the name of the organization. It rose from humble roots in this city.
It is a city with a center ring occupied by the organization, while the other two rings behave as the city.
Soon, reached the central ring and flew toward the huge palace at the top of the tallest mountain, which was at the dead center of the city.
It is a palace of white marble with massive columns carved bountiful. The snow covering it adds another layer to its beauty.
Thud Thud!
We landed on the parvis in front of the magnificent palace, where three people were waiting for us.
The middle one is a grey Wolf Beastwoman. She looked to be in her early forties. On the left is a green-horned man who looked barely sixteen, while on the right is a burly bronze-skinned, four-armed man who looked to be in his mid-forties.
The woman is a High-Prime, while the teen-man is a Mid-Prime, and the armed man is an Initial Prime.
"Welcome back, Governor," greeted all three. The head of Taurus City is referred to as the Governor.
"Welcome to Taurus City, Prime Arys," they greeted me. "Happy to be welcomed," I replied, surprising them.
"It's good to be back. I just wish I had come back with the prize I had gone to get," he said with a sigh.
"Though, no worries. The trip wasn't without the benefits," he added, which brightened the mood of the three primes.
"We are happy to hear that, Governor," replied the woman in the middle.
He smiled before turning to me.
"Tomorrow will be a party; I hope you will attend it, Arys," he said. "Sure," I replied before flying away to the confusion of the three.
I have come in as a guest, but I am not staying in the organization.
I will be staying in the city.
Carter was quite opposed to it before agreeing, but now, after what happened with the three-line cult. I am sure he would be glad to project the distance between me and his organization.
It is a good arrangement for him and his organization.
My presence will help him, but the distance will also provide him with the excuse to ward off any trouble that I might bring on him.
It is also good for me too.
I, too, could claim a distance if any of their enemies attacked them. I am not going to throw myself into their battles. I have already made that clear to him.
I reached the middle circle and looked down at the city before I found what I was looking for.
Thud!
A few seconds later, I landed in front of the real estate office and walked inside.
The moment I did, a woman appeared in front of me.
She is an elf, tall with green hair and green eyes, quite beautiful but also powerful.
A Peak Earth Sovereign.
It is likely her company and a few seconds ago. She had received the order to take care of me for her best.
"Welcome to Kadson, dear customer. How can I help you?" she asked, with the brightest smile on her face.
"I would need a land. It should be around twenty thousand square feet," I stated, without going through the pleasantries.
"Of course, sir, many parcels of such land in prime areas of the city," she said and walked out of the city.
I could tell that she was itching to scan me. I had kept my aura vague. A prime would be able to recognize me as Prime, but an Earth Sovereign like her couldn't.
I wouldn't have done this, but showing Prime would have wasted time in unnecessary pleasantries.
I quickly want to find the land and get settled. There are a lot of things I want to do. As we got out of the office, we flew up before stopping at a distance from where we could see the whole middle circle of the city.
"We have over a hundred parcels of land that fit your requirements," she informed.
"Do you have any other requirements?" she asked. "Yes, Privacy, but it shouldn't be secluded," I replied.
I wanted privacy but didn't want to live in a seclusion. I want to see some life around
me.
"I would suggest. cloudily borough, leaf street, and blue mountain colony." "All three places preferred by Sky Sovereign; they offer privacy, but if got out of the house, you will be able to see the people," she informed.
"Sure, sir," she said and flew toward the place.
I flew beside her. She could have shown me, but there are formations that stop her
from seeing the places too clearly.
I did not feel such a restriction, but I decided to follow to check the places instead of
asking her to point at the place.
It's been a while since I did this, and I want to do it a proper way.
