Chapter 11: Chapter Seven: Welp, Here I Go Killing Again

Chapter Seven Part Two: It's Not A Crime The First Time

Before Doug left the room Doug double-checked the woman's mouth only to find her tongue mangled but it did indeed look like it had a tattoo.

Calmly walking out the door if one looked into his interrogation room they might see the messily cleaned-up blood stains surrounding "Doug's body" in his previous spot of imprisonment. "His body" now had its face wrapped with the extra wrap not used to cover the body's chest, arm, and leg.

Hopefully, it might confuse his captures long enough to get his revenge.

The now taller "root ninja" left the cell with a slight slouch and crouch to help cover the biggest failure of his disguise his toes hanging over the edges of his new shoes. Luckily they were open-toed candles or people would notice the fact he would be forced to walk barefoot.

Now would escape? Moving through the halls of the base as if he belonged, no one stopped the silent ninja injured walking with a limp and smelling of blood as that was a common occurrence for the root.

Doug knew from all his time on military bases the more you acted like you belonged and had something to do the less people would question you.

Walking confidently down the hall Doug tracked the pipe on the exposed ceiling following the downward inclination of the pipes to where the waste was dumped into the main.

This meant he quickly made it to the main stairwell. This room was covered in hidden seals meant to detect the chakra of trespassers and sound an alarm but Doug was oblivious.

Getting to the stairwell Doug had the choice to head up am possible freedom as the stone implied an underground structure or go down.

So went down. He wasn't looking to escape but to make his captors pay. Upon moving down the stairwell passing ninjas Doug was so glad the root had long black cloaks or the ninjas would most certainly notice his footwear when passing them on his way down.

Making it to the bottom he noted the lack of vent in that stairwell. Surprisingly earth developed a similar set of building procedures in case of fire. Approaching the door of the basement Doug noted the dust on the floor and prayed that the building styles stayed similar and this would be the maintenance room.

This is what Doug's whole revenge plan was built off. Grabbing the usually locked door in most builds he twisted the handle to hear its latch disengage.

"Huff"

With a sizeable exhale Doug's predictions on the uselessness of lock-on doors in a secret ninja base came true. Entering the hot uncomfortable room filled with old pipes and humming HVAC machines a manic grin grew across his face.

Walking around checking overhead Doug scoured the ceiling for where pipes entered from the floor above. This would allow them to build up a floor plan of the next floor's plumbing. Finding a large collection of smaller pipes right next to a line of thicker pipes Doug found the laundry room.

After finding his target Doug decided to hurry up a floor and down that hall to the suspected laundry room before he could forget the layout.

Inspecting the room Doug quickly snagged a different set of clothes that fit his frame and well as looked for any additional doors in the room. Spotting it exactly where the plumbing implied Doug found the janitor's closet.

Quickly searching through the chemical Doug grabbed all the ones with a pungent odor chances were that they were Asidic-based. Setting them aside Doug filled quickly grabbed a clothes hamper and filled the basket. After checking its weight he could carry more he didn't want to be a Two Trip Bitch so grabbing as much of the soap near the dirty white uniforms and finished filling the basket the best he could.

Straddle stepped out of the room with a laundry basket with the top covered in clean robes a manic grin grew across his face.

As he made it to the bottom of the steps once more he heard a loud noise likely an alarm kick on.

With little to no time, Doug quickly threw a handful of talismans around the room as he struggled to get his basket to the main HVAC system feeding the underground base clean air. Popping open the maintenance door Doug started piking open bottles of chemicals into the shaft.

Hopefully, the random paper tags throughout the room to give pause to any pursues hoping to fix war crime level sabotage.

Before the chlorine gas could destroy his lungs Doug shot out of the room and underneath the last flight of steps. After two minutes a dozen ninjas ran down to the bottom floor.

Half the ninjas just yeeted themself into the obviously talisman-trapped room spreading poisonous gas throughout the compound. While the other six ninjas shot up the stairs likely to get reinforcement or more probability due to their brainwashing to warn Danzo.

Doug exited his hiding place and posted next to the door as a sentry. If the ninjas escaped in two minutes he planned to catch them off guard with a kunai to the throat.

After a 120 count, Doug crawled back under the stairs and cracked open his composition notebook. Before writing his last will and testament in the form logs. Leaving behind anything to prove himself in this world is better than nothing. After 45 minutes of frenzied writing, Doug's free hand rose to slap his neck.

It was bitten by a bug. Upon slapping it Doug's face paled realizing what it meant. Scratching into his book one last dying message Doug snapped the tip of his pencil one last time. Instead of sharpening it once more with a kunai he placed his book to the side and closed his eyes waiting for death.

After getting to this Naruto world he will never have a chance to go to sleep and wake up on his own terms. At least this final nap will be one he was ready for even if it was his last one.

A lone tear dropped down his cheek as he waited for the poison from the Aburame clan to kill him. Upon waiting for nearly a minute with no pain Doug cracked open an eye to double-check if he was still alive or if a miracle happened and he was back home.

Looking around Doug cracked a small smile until he heard a clackling of metal on metal to the final climb of metal on the stone when he saw a glass canister roll in front of him.

Watching the bomb in the middle of the room begin billowing a green cloud of smoke.
