Mi Marido Misterioso (My Mysterious Husband)

Chapter 57: Kieran's Interest

Chapter Fifty-Seven:

Reinhardt's Residence

"What's the news?" I immediately asked Iman after I am done with my duties.

"I still can't find any clue about the true identity of the King's daughter." He answered then added. "But I got some other news."

I look at him. "What is it?"

"Duke Haimon already has a woman he cherishes." He spoke. "And they are always seen at downtown together."

"Is that right?"

"Yes, indeed. And I have seen them together."

"That's interesting." I replied. "I wanted to see them with my own eyes." I decided.

"About my secret that no one knows."

I don't know but after I heard what she just said I feel so nervous. What secret does he want to tell me? I wanted to ask but I silently wait for her to speak but then suddenly we didn't expect the person that will disturb us.

"So, it is true. You are already dating."

"Prince Kieran?" I said as I look up to him. "What are you doing here?"

"Just passing by and I just decided to greet you when I saw you here with," he looks at to Siara. "May I know who you are, my Lady?"

I stand up and spoke. "This is not the right time--"

"Why?" Kieran cuts me off. "There's nothing wrong with meeting the woman you're dating, right?"

"Mon," suddenly Siara speaks up that made me look back to her but to my surprised there is something change about her but I couldn't say a word. "It's alright." She said before she stands up and greets Kieran. "I'm Liraz." She said her name but that wasn't her name, I wanted to speak but I don't know why I couldn't as if I am being cast into a spell that I don't even feel.

I just keep all my questions to myself and just simply and silently look at them as Kieran smiles at Siara.

"I'm glad to finally meet the woman that took the attention of Duke Haimon." He happily replied. "So, where do you come from? What kind of family do you come from?" he seriously asked and quickly added. "Sorry if I'm rude. But maybe somehow you know which family Duke Haimon belongs to, right?"

He was right, even though the Vampires are hidden from the people and only those chosen knows about us, the state that we have is known to everyone. And I being a Duke and Kieran as the Prince, everyone that sees us here in downtown are well known to everyone. But asking about Siara's status isn't right since he has no right.

"I don't think you should ask that to her." I finally said something.

"Oh, is that right?"

"Yes, indeed." I seriously answered. "And now that you know her name maybe you don't need to know anything else, right?"

"You're being rude." Iman suddenly came out at front to defend his Prince.

"Iman." But Kieran stopped him. "I'm fine." He said before he looks at me. "Well, sorry for disturbing. And," he looks at Siara. "I'm sorry too Lady Liraz. I hope you understand my excitement knowing that Duke Haimon already found someone."

"It's fine. I understand you."

"Thank you."

"My pleasure."

"Anyway, we have to leave." He spoke. "And it was really nice to finally meet you." He said before he leaves and I already knew he will investigate Siara once he leaves.

"What did just happen?" I asked Siara once we were alone and everything begins to back to normal. "Who was Liraz?"

"That is my secret that I wanted you to know." She replied as soon as we sat down.

"Alright," I take a deep breath before I answered. "Explain it all."

Meanwhile…

"Iman," I said. "Try to find out who was Liraz. Everything about her," I commanded.

"Yes, my Prince."

"I have a feeling that woman has a secret."

"But how about the Princess?"

"Put Liraz first because I'm sure it's easier to get information about her. Besides, it seems that the King has no intention of marrying his daughter to me because he is not taking any steps for us to meet."

"You were right, my Prince. But isn't that he can't ignore the matter? The elders won't just stay silent about it."

"Well, you were right but the elders also seem to have no intention of interfering in the matter. The reason why I won't stress myself about that matter and let the Princess do whatever she wants. I don't care at all because all I care today is the Lady that Duke Haimon meeting with. So, make sure to know everything about her no matter what it takes."

I couldn't believe what she just told me, the reason why she needs to pretend to be someone else is to be free. That she could freely do whatever he wanted to do without anyone knowing about her true identity. And because she was the daughter of a King, she really had to change her name to protect her father. Not also that, she also pretended to be a normal person and she only did that because of the ability she had.

Siara has the special ability to change and to quickly convince everyone around her without any questions to ask just simply bewitch by her silence spell just like what she did to me earlier. The reason why I couldn't say a word, not even to ask one question but as soon as she ends the cast that is the only time, I finally speak up my questions.

"And now that you already know,"

"Wait." I stopped her. "I do understand you?"

"Ha?" she looks at me with surprised.

"What?"

"You're not mad?"

"Of course not." I honestly replied. "Instead, I am so glad that you truly trust me. That makes my heart flutter more. And the more I fall in love with you." I said as I smiled and hold her hand. "Really, thank you. And I--"

"I love you so much Haimon."
