Mi Marido Misterioso (My Mysterious Husband)

Chapter 54: I Finally Introduce Siara

Chapter Fifty-Four:

Del Gazini's Residence

"Where are you going again?"

I look and found out that Norward was already here at my house and he seems serious this time making me feel a bit worry.

"I have a date." I honestly answered.

"Why don't you introduce her to us? There's nothing wrong with meeting her, is there?"

"Uhm," I smile a little bit. "I'll ask her first."

"Why? Are you hiding something from me about that woman?"

"Of course not!" I immediately answered. "I just don't want to just bring her here without even asking her if it's okay for her to introduce her to you especially since we haven't dated that long." I justified my replied.

"Haimon, you just going to introduce her to be formal, maybe there's nothing wrong with that right?"

He was right maybe I can ask Siara to meet my one and only family that was left behind. So, I will ask her today and I hope it will be fine.

"Alright, I will tell her." I positively answered.

Deep into the Mountains

"You want me to meet your Uncle?" she replied to my question and I feel kind of anxious because she might say 'no' to it but I hope not. "Alright, let me meet your Uncle."

"It's fine even if it's—what did you just said?" I quickly cut off myself and asked her as soon as I clearly understand what she just replied.

She smiled. "I said let me meet your Uncle." She answered. "Then it would be better for me to meet the only family you have so I am ready to meet your Uncle. Just tell when and I'll be there with you." She sincerely added.

"Siara!" I couldn't help but hug her tightly after I heard clearly what she said and that was because of the sheer pleasure I felt. I'm really just simply happy that she agreed to meet my family. Although there is a problem and it worries me so I push her a bit to look at her face. "But, there's one problem?"

"What?"

"Your last name."

"No worries, I won't tell."

"Promise?"

"Yes."

I smile and hug her once again. I know, hiding her true identity will not last long because any secret will soon reveal when the right time comes.

The next day…

Saturday

I cannot relax because I feel so nervous even if it shouldn't but still, I cannot stop not to feel a bit anxious.

"Hey! Haimon!" suddenly Siara called out my attention.

"Yes?"

"Can you please relax?" she said.

"Oh, sorry. I just can't help but be nervous."

"You beat me while I should be the one feeling nervous. So please, stop it will you."

I force a smile and hold her hand. "Alright, I will." I spoke. "So, let's go?"

"Are you really ready?"

I laugh with her replied. "Really! I am fine and so much ready! So, let's go?"

"Fine! And you don't have to ask. I have been ready for a long time."

Sage's Residence

"Here we are." I simply said while we stand at the front of the gate of my Uncle's house. "Let's get in."

"Alright," she answered as she nodded.

As we silently went in, I'll admit I could hardly breathe properly but I did everything I could so Siara wouldn't notice that. When we got to the door of Norward's house I knocked first and we waited for the door to open. Only be surprised when Norward was the one open the door and greeted us.

"I'm glad to finally see the woman that took my nephew's attention." He said with a smile. "Anyway, come in first and let me know you inside."

I look at Siara. "Let's go." I said that she just nodded and smiled.

Inside I couldn't stop not to feel a bit awkward it is because I don't know how to start a conversation.

"So, you are?" Norward asked Siara as soon as we sit down and settled ourselves.

"Uncle!" I immediately rebuked him.

"Why? Is it wrong to ask what her name is?"

"But--"

"Haimon," Siara cuts me off. "It's fine." She spoke.

I look at her and I saw her smiling that made me feel at ease. "Alright," I said and look back to my Uncle. "You may ask her."

"Good!" Norward happily answered. "So, you are?"

"Siara." She answered.

"Siara…" he replied and I already knew he was thinking if he ever met her and that worries me more.

What if he learned that Siara came from the Manu Clan and worse if he knew whose daughter she was? That even though we had already discussed what we would do by the time I introduced her I still couldn't help but worry that Norward might insist on finding out Siara's last name.

"So, what is your--"

"Uncle," I cut him off. "Why don't we eat first? Since it is almost lunch time," I added and hoping he will forget to ask Siara's last name.

"You were right," he agreed. "Fine, let's have lunch first."

After lunch…

"Haimon," Norward called my attention.

"Yes, Uncle?"

"Can I talk to you for a while?"

I look at Siara first.

"Go," she said. "I'll wait you here."

We were at the garden and decided to walk around there after our lunch.

"Alright, I'll be quick."

Afterwards…

"Why do you want to talk to me alone?" I asked as soon as we entered his office room.

"Tell me the truth," he begins. "Who she really is?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Haimon, I know you that much. Ever since your parents died, since then I have raised you. So, I know you very well. So, tell me the truth. Because I know you are hiding something from me."

I don't know what to say but will I able to hide the whole truth from him?

"I'll tell you." Suddenly I heard Siara's voice and look at the door.

"Siara!"

She smiled at me before she faces Norward. "I'm Siara Meinir." She introduced.
