Chapter 30: Persuasion
Tap! Tap!
Heavy and powerful footsteps suddenly sounded.
Looking at the black robed man that was coming near him, McGrady's eyes were filled with a rare sense of fear.
He had seen Ken's battle, and that terrible fighting style left a deep impression on him.
Among all the legends, he was most afraid of No. 7 and No.1 Lion.
No. 7 was mysterious, cruel, and powerful.
"Are you interested in cooperation?"
Hearing Ken's deep voice, McGrady subconsciously curled his lips.
He didn't trust this guy who always hid his face under a black robe.
However, in the next second, McGrady's face became stiff, and he immediately gulped.
Looking at the black robed man who was close at hand, his face changed a little.
"Don't you want to make up for your quirk's shortcomings?"
Without paying attention to how Ken knew his quirk's shortcomings, McGrady took a deep look at Ken and said in a deep voice, "This is not a place to talk."
Soon, in an abandoned warehouse, McGrady looked at the small black figure squatting on some stacked abandoned cars.
His face was slightly cold, and he shouted, "What do you know?"
"What do you mean? Like you are an orphan, who grew up in an orphanage. You occasionally incarnate as the No. 6 metal master, but more often, you are still a humble ordinary person in the eyes of others."
"Have you investigated me?" The cold voice echoed in the warehouse.
McGrady's hands moved, and there was a loud bang, and the abandoned cars around Ken slowly climbed into the sky.
His undisguised killing intent spread around the area.
"No wonder, you brought me to this abandoned warehouse. You have spent a lot of time establishing a link with most of the metals here." Ken slowly stood up and said affirmatively.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The cars crashed into the ground one after another.
McGrady helplessly sighed, "You really know the shortcomings of my quirk. What is the cooperation about? And how can I make up for the shortcomings of my quirk?"
"The point is how to make your quirk stronger, right?" Ken laughed lowly.
The answer to him was a cold snort of disdain.
Looking at the fair-haired young man squatting on the dilapidated junk car, Ken bluntly said, "Some time ago, the rampaging quirk serial incident was my hand."
McGrady was always sensitive and suspicious, otherwise he would not have become a legend in the quirk arena.
And he also would not spend his time in the abandoned warehouse even when he had a lot of money.
For such a person, Ken thought it was better to speak openly.
"Is that so?"
A very flat reaction, but Ken keenly noticed the shock that flashed in McGrady's eyes.
Obviously, McGrady was a little surprised by the news.
"I can enhance your quirk and make up for your shortcomings." Ken licked the corners of his mouth and took the lead again.
"Really?"
A touch of excitement flashed across McGrady's face, but he seemed to think of something.
His face changed slightly, and he said coldly, "Will I be like those who lose all reason, whom you experimented on?"
Ken shook his head again and again, "No, no, with the help those experimental products, I can increase the success rate of enhancing quirks so that I can be confident of success."
"Do you want me to believe in you? I have seen the guys that you experimented on be defeated by the professional Heroes. It looks like they are not that strong."
Looking at McGrady, whose tone was a little excited, Ken knew that McGrady was moved.
As long as he cared about it, both his expression and tone would reveal something.
Obviously, McGrady still couldn't calmly accept that his quirk had a slight hope of being stronger.
"Do you know that mud monster? He was an utter waste, but had a clear mind."
"Mud monster?" McGrady was stunned, obviously aware of the meaning of Ken's words.
Thinking of striking while the iron was hot, Ken continued, "There is your acquaintance as well, catgirl. Her quirk was also very good."
With Ken's voice falling, the abandoned warehouse suddenly became quiet.
"What happened?" Ken frowned as he looked at McGrady, who was stiff.
But at this moment, a roar full of anger suddenly echoed.
"I was wondering why that catgirl suddenly become so much stronger. It turned out to be because of you, bastard."
Before long, in the abandoned warehouse, Ken looked at McGrady, who was waiting for him to enhance his quirk in front of him, and he couldn't help being stunned.
"Did you make the catgirl stronger?"
"I fought her for three days and three nights." However, the voice became smaller and smaller.
Fnally, Ken vaguely heard an inaudible complaint, "It's hard, just thinking of..."
Shaking his head, Ken realized that this McGrady was quite fun.
He really hoped that he would not fail to enhance this guy's quirk and that this guy wouldn't become an idiot.
