Chapter 1: C1
I write this for fun!
----------------------
Kai sat slouched on his worn-out couch, staring at the credits of My Hero Academia scrolling across the screen. The finale had left him with a sour taste in his mouth, the unresolved subplots gnawing at him.
"That's it?" he muttered, running a hand through his disheveled black hair. "What was even the point of half that build-up?"
Glancing at the clock on his phone, Kai groaned. 7:38 AM. He had 22 minutes to get to work. "Crap, crap, crap!" Tossing the remote aside, he scrambled to pull on his McDonald's uniform shirt, still creased from being stuffed into the corner of his room. The reality of his job as a cleaner in a dingy fast-food chain didn't exactly mesh well with his dreams of heroism and adventure. But hey, bills didn't pay themselves.
Grabbing his keys, Kai bolted out the door, jumping into his beat-up Honda Civic. He sped down the suburban streets, weaving through traffic and silently cursing the slow-moving drivers who clearly didn't have somewhere important to be. His phone buzzed with a notification from his manager, but he didn't dare check it while driving. He already knew what it would say.
As he rounded a corner, a deafening horn blared to his left. His heart skipped a beat as he turned his head, just in time to see a massive delivery truck barreling toward him.
"NO!" he shouted, slamming on the brakes. The world spun in a cacophony of screeching tires and crunching metal. His body jolted violently, and everything went dark.
Kai opened his eyes, but he wasn't in his car anymore. The wreckage, the truck, even the sounds of the city were gone. He was surrounded by an endless white void, the kind that felt both vast and suffocating at once. His body felt oddly weightless, his aches and pains a distant memory.
"Am I... dead?" he murmured, his voice echoing in the nothingness.
A chuckle broke the silence. "Not quite."
Kai turned around sharply. An old man with a flowing white beard and a kind face stood before him, dressed in simple robes. He radiated an aura of calm authority, as if he'd seen the entirety of existence and found it mildly amusing.
"Who? What?" Kai stammered.
"I go by many names," the old man said with a twinkle in his eye. "But you can call me... God."
Kai blinked. "God. Like, the God?"
"The very same." God smiled gently. "Before you ask: yes, you were hit by a truck. No, it wasn't supposed to happen."
Kai frowned, struggling to process the information. "Wait, what do you mean, 'wasn't supposed to happen'? Trucks don't just accidentally hit people."
God coughed, suddenly looking sheepish. "Well, you see, I was adjusting some wind currents over your city, and, uh... I may have gotten a bit carried away."
Kai's jaw dropped. "You're telling me I'm dead because you messed up the weather?"
"Technically, yes," God said, clasping his hands together apologetically. "But! I'm here to make it right."
Kai crossed his arms. "Oh, great. Let me guess: I get a lifetime supply of Big Macs in heaven?"
God chuckled. "Not quite. I'm offering you another chance at life. But not in the way you might think."
With a wave of his hand, an image materialized in the air—a glowing, vibrant scene of the My Hero Academia universe. Familiar faces of heroes and villains played out before Kai like a live-action version of the anime. His breath caught in his throat.
"Wait," Kai whispered, stepping closer. "You're saying I can go there?"
"That's right," God said. "Since the accident was my fault, I'm giving you the opportunity to live again in a world of your choosing. And from the thoughts I pulled from your mind, this one seems... ideal."
Kai hesitated. "So I get to be a hero? Like, with quirks and everything?"
"Exactly." God's voice softened. "I'll even let you pick your quirk. But fair warning: life in that world won't be easy. Villains, challenges, sacrifices—you'll face it all. Are you ready for that?"
Kai's thoughts raced. He remembered his family: his sister's infectious laugh, his mother's warm hugs, his dad's proud smile. The idea of leaving them forever made his chest ache. But at the same time, the chance to step into a world of adventure, where he could be someone who mattered—it was too tempting to pass up.
"I'll do it," he said finally, determination hardening his voice. "Send me to MHA."
God smiled knowingly. "Very well. What quirk shall I bestow upon you?"
Kai grinned. "Give me something cool. Like... One For All! But not just that, make it stockpile only to me. Super strong."
"eh? A popular choice." God raised a hand, and a warm energy enveloped Kai. His body tingled as the quirk settled into him, feeling as natural as breathing.
"One last thing," God said. "Do good, Kai. Heroes aren't just born from quirks, they're made through their choices. Remember that."
Before Kai could respond, the white void dissolved around him. A rush of colors, sounds, and sensations overwhelmed his senses, and he found himself standing in a bustling city street.
"Alright, MHA world," he muttered, his grin widening. "Let's do this."

It took me an extremely long time for me to write this, trying to mix some sophisticated grammar while not trying to make it look ai. It's hard but I won't give up.
Let me know what you think of this fic give me stones and reviews and if this does well then we can get out an extra chapter...
20 = 1 extra chapter (I know ya'll won't reach it)
50 = 2 extra chapters
100 = 3 extra chapters
Keep in mind that this deal won't be around forever depending on how popular the fic gets then this goal could either go up or go down!
