Marvel Ultimate Gacha

Chapter 29: Against Avengers II

Thor flew into the air, swinging Mjolnir as he struck down multiple skeletons with bolts of lightning, but their numbers seemed endless. Captain America held his ground, using his shield to bash and block as the horde pressed on. Hawkeye loosed arrows rapidly, aiming for the critical joints of the undead, while Tony fired repulsor blasts to thin the crowd.

Meanwhile, Michael ascended higher into the air, avoiding the skirmish as he moved toward the top of Stark Tower, where Black Widow was working to shut down the machine and seal the portal. However, before he could reach her, a shadow flew toward him—Hulk, leaping with a massive punch aimed at Michael.

Michael dodged the strike, veering to the side with inhuman speed, while Hulk crashed into the side of the building. Undeterred, Michael refocused on Black Widow, who had thrust Loki's scepter into the machine, disrupting its power. The portal began to close slowly, its swirling energy dimming with each passing moment.

Michael, seeing the opportunity, focused on the missiles. He carefully adjusted their trajectory, timing it perfectly. One missile was sent through a portal while the other followed closely behind. The exit portal was positioned directly at the Chitauri command ship. As the portal closed, both missiles emerged simultaneously and collided with the ship, detonating in a massive explosion that obliterated it entirely.

Black Widow retrieved Loki's scepter as well as the Tesseract, clutching them tightly as she backed away cautiously from Michael. "We can talk," she said, her voice calm but wary.

Michael, however, raised his hand, and with a flick of his fingers and a surge of magical energy, he pulled both the scepter and the cube out of her grasp effortlessly.

"After I put them in a safe place," Michael said coldly. With another wave of his hand, the scepter and the Tesseract disappeared into his inventory, vanishing from sight.

"Now, let's talk," Michael said coldly as he suddenly appeared in front of Black Widow. Without hesitation, he delivered a precise punch to her gut, causing her to cough as the air was knocked out of her. The impact sent her flying into the wall, where she slumped to the floor, dazed.

"One down," Michael muttered as he turned and flew upward. Before he could move far, he dodged a blinding bolt of lightning aimed at him.

"Stay there!" Thor roared as he charged at Michael, his hammer glowing with divine power.

Michael raised his hands, and two massive stone fists emerged from the ground, striking Thor mid-flight. The god of thunder retaliated, swinging Mjolnir to shatter the stone fists, but as he did, Michael grinned.

"Impressive, but I'm still here," Michael said, swiftly using his magic to manipulate Thor's surroundings. The air became heavy as Thor's body began to falter, feeling an unnatural weight pulling him down.

Thor gasped, struggling to lift Mjolnir, but Michael didn't let up. "This is just the start," he said, as Thor spit out blood and glared defiantly at him.

"I guess it was enough to bleed a GOD," Michael said, smirking. When suddenly, Captain America appeared from the side and landed a powerful punch on Michael, forcing him to skid backward.

Michael wiped his mouth, glaring at Steve. "Well, that was unexpected," he said, but before he could respond, Hulk charged at him, roaring as he prepared to strike.

Michael waved his hand, creating a portal that sent Hulk high into the air. As Hulk began to fall from that height, the other Avengers arrived and looked at Michael—Hawkeye, Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man—all set to face him.

Michael stood tall, his sinister black suit gleaming in the chaos, the jagged teeth on his mask forming a chilling grin. His cape fluttered in the wind, and his energy blades hummed menacingly in his hands, crackling with dark magic.

"Alright, Avengers," Michael said, his voice echoing with power. "Let's see if you're worth the hype."

Thor wasted no time, charging with Mjolnir in hand, lightning crackling around him. Michael met his charge head-on, clashing his energy blades against the enchanted hammer. The impact sent shockwaves rippling through the area, scattering debris and forcing the others to shield their eyes.

Thor gritted his teeth as Michael's strength pushed him back slightly. "You little tricks won't work on me, Midgardian Sorcerer" Thor growled.

Michael smirked beneath his mask. "Tricks? Oh, Thor, let me show you the real thing."

With a gesture, Michael summoned a swirling vortex of black flames that engulfed Thor. The God of Thunder spun Mjolnir rapidly, creating a windstorm to dissipate the flames, but Michael used the moment to strike. He vanished into a shadow and reappeared behind Thor, slashing his blade across Thor's side. The cut wasn't deep, but it was enough to send Thor stumbling forward.

"Pathetic for a god," Michael taunted.

Hawkeye fired an explosive arrow, aiming directly at Michael's exposed back. Without turning, Michael raised a hand, forming a barrier of dark energy that absorbed the explosion. He twisted his hand, and the energy shot back at Hawkeye, forcing him to dive for cover.

Tony swooped in next, his suit glowing as he unleashed a barrage of missiles and repulsor beams. Michael's symbiote extended from his suit, forming a barrier that deflected the projectiles. The symbiote's tendrils lashed out, grabbing one of Tony's legs and slamming him into the ground.

"Jarvis, I need a countermeasure!" Tony yelled as he tried to regain control, but Michael didn't give him the chance. The Anti-Venom symbiote swarmed over Tony's armor, disrupting its systems.

"You rely too much on your toys, Stark," Michael sneered, lifting Tony into the air and throwing him into a nearby car.

Suddenly, Hulk roared and leapt into the fray, aiming a massive punch at Michael. This time, Michael didn't dodge. Instead, he braced himself, his symbiote coating his arms as he caught Hulk's fist mid-swing. The ground beneath them cracked from the sheer force, but Michael held firm.

"Big, green, and stupid," Michael said, before his symbiote expanded, forming spikes that stabbed into Hulk's arm. Hulk howled in pain, and Michael used the distraction to summon a gravity spell, slamming the Hulk into the ground with immense force.

Captain America saw his chance and charged in, shield raised. Michael turned just in time to block the strike with one of his energy blades.
