Marvel : Strongest Siblings

Chapter 69: Marvel 69

Max motioned to his crew as they began moving the Celestial Dragons onto the ship. Sengoku frowned deeply. "What are you doing now?"

"I'm sailing, heading back out to sea. Or do you expect me to sit here for three days waiting?" Max replied casually, glancing over his shoulder at Sengoku and the gathered forces.

"But—"

"No buts," Max interrupted sharply. "Either they leave this island alive, or they die here. Your choice." His words left Sengoku momentarily speechless. Turning to the CP0 captain, Sengoku sought guidance.

The CP0 captain looked to Tsuru, who nodded solemnly.

"Fine," Sengoku conceded, his voice tight with frustration. "But you'll need to come to an island of our choosing in the New World for the exchange."

Max smirked as he continued onto his ship. "Fair enough. You can have your way, but don't expect me to hurry. We might spend some time relaxing on Fishman Island first." With a mocking wave, he leapt onto the deck of his ship.

Sengoku gritted his teeth in frustration. "Alright, then. We'll contact you the moment you leave this island," he growled, his voice betraying his irritation. There was little he could do with the Celestial Dragons in Max's hands.

As Max went to his ship, Sengoku couldn't help but feel a deep frustration. It wasn't every day that a pirate dictated terms to the Marines and the World Government, but with the Celestial Dragons as hostages, they were left powerless to act. For now.

"You have three days," Max said flatly. "Fail to deliver, and the consequences will be… entertaining."

The tension hung in the air as Max turned his back on the Marines and World Government forces, walking back toward his crew. The unspoken challenge in his departure left his enemies paralyzed, uncertain of their next move.

As Max boarded his ship, his crew cheered, their confidence unwavering. Gwen leaned against the railing, smirking. "You think they'll actually deliver?" she asked.

Max chuckled. "They don't have a choice. Let them scramble. Either way, we win."

The Night Monarch's ship set sail, leaving the stunned forces at Sabaody in their wake, the world watching every moment unfold.

"Interesting bunch," Rayleigh muttered to himself as he watched the events unfold from his hidden vantage point. The former Pirate King's right-hand man observed the boldness of Max and his crew with a mix of amusement and curiosity.

"But he's too premature if he believes the World Government will simply exchange the Celestial Dragons," Rayleigh said, shaking his head. Despite the crew's confidence, he knew the government would never submit so easily.

Still, their strength intrigued him. "They do seem powerful," he mused, weighing the idea of stepping in to lend a hand. Ultimately, he decided against it.

"Anyway, what could an old man like me even do?" Rayleigh thought with a smile as he turned away, choosing instead to wait and watch how this unpredictable situation would unfold.

The Sabaody Archipelago remained a scene of chaos, with the Marines and World Government forces scrambling to formulate a response. The news of Max's ultimatum spread like wildfire, with Morgans ensuring every corner of the world was tuned in.

Marineford War Room

Sengoku sat at the head of the table, surrounded by the highest-ranking officers and government officials. His face was etched with tension as he reviewed the situation.

"One hundred Devil Fruits for each Celestial Dragon?" Tsuru echoed, her expression grim. "That's an impossible demand, even for us."

"It's not just the demand," Sengoku said, slamming his hand on the table. "It's the humiliation. The world is watching us bargain for the lives of the so-called Gods. This is a direct assault on the World Government's authority."

Admiral Kizaru, now fully recovered but still wearing a bandage on his shoulder, leaned back lazily in his chair. "Yo~ It's not like we have a lot of options. Max isn't bluffing. He'll actually auction them off if we don't meet his demands. Imagine a Celestial Dragon becoming a pirate's pet."

Akainu, his new prosthetic arm gleaming, growled. "We should wipe him out. Deploy everything we have and crush him. This kind of insolence can't be tolerated!"

"And risk losing the Celestial Dragons entirely?" Tsuru countered. "The repercussions would be catastrophic. The Gorosei won't stand for it."

A heavy silence fell over the room, broken only by the steady tapping of Garp's fingers on the table. "You're all overthinking it," he said, his voice calm but firm. "The kid's playing the long game. He doesn't care about the Celestial Dragons. He's testing us, seeing how far we'll go to protect them."

"What do you suggest, Garp?" Sengoku asked, exasperated. "We can't just ignore this."

Garp sighed, leaning back in his chair. "We buy time. Give him some Devil Fruits, maybe not the full hundred. Stall him long enough to regroup and strike when he's least expecting it."

"And if he retaliates before we're ready?" Tsuru asked.

Garp smirked. "Then we'll see if the Night Monarch is as invincible as he claims."

Night Monarch's Ship

The crew lounged on the deck, the atmosphere lively. Gwen was tinkering with her new skills , a mischievous grin on her face. "So, what do you think they'll do?" she asked, glancing at Max.

Max was leaning against the railing, staring out at the sea. "They'll try to stall. Maybe offer a fraction of what I asked for. But that's fine. The longer they hesitate, the more the world loses faith in their so-called justice."

Bullet chuckled, cracking his knuckles. "And if they try something stupid?"

"Then we remind them why the Night Monarch is feared," Max replied, his eyes glinting with a dangerous light.

World appeared from below deck, a glass of wine in hand. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?" he laughed.

"Of course," Max said with a smirk. "This isn't just about power. It's about breaking the illusion. The Marines, the World Government, the Celestial Dragons—they all cling to this idea that they're untouchable. I'm here to shatter that."

Leo, perched on the mast, called down, "So, what's the next step? We've got the world's attention. Might as well make the most of it."

Max nodded. "We head to Fish-Man Island. Let's see how the World Government reacts when they realize their 'Gods' are going underwater kingdom where they are hated the most"
