Chapter 106: The Holy Place Battle Is Over! Cybertron Changes!

_____

So far, Dormammu had exhausted all the dark dimension power he had accumulated in Midgard over the years. He used it to reverse the attack, draining every last bit of his resources. As a result, his dark dimension projection couldn't sustain itself and began to collapse.

But in his final moments, Dormammu glared at Stephen with his massive eye, full of frustration. He scanned the land of Hong Kong for something, but after another futile attempt, his presence vanished, leaving only a lingering sense of reluctance. The Eye of Dormammu disappeared.

At the same time, the rainbow channel on the other side faded away as it collapsed.

Finally, the sky above the Hong Kong Sanctum began to clear. The darkness dissipated, and the rainbow vanished. Everything returned to normal, except for the dilapidated sanctum, a solemn reminder of the fierce battle that had taken place.

"Plop~!"

Stephen, completely exhausted, collapsed onto the ground. After a few moments, the remaining sorcerers from the sanctum hurried over and helped him to his feet.

So, was it really over?

Lorien pondered for a moment. It seemed like the battle had indeed concluded. What began as the Battle of the New York Sanctum had shifted to the Hong Kong Sanctum. But it wasn't just the location that had changed—the timing had also been moved up. Stephen didn't even have the Cloak of Levitation yet, which confirmed the battle had occurred ahead of schedule.

Yet, despite the alterations in time and place, the sacred timeline still followed its intended course. The end result hadn't changed. Dormammu had been forced to retreat, and Stephen Strange would soon rise to become the Sorcerer Supreme. The sequence of events remained intact.

"Interesting," Lorien mused, a small smile playing on his lips. Observing the timeline unfold from a bystander's perspective was intriguing. It made him feel almost like a cosmic observer.

As Lorien stood there, Hela clung to his leg, her voice muffled as she spoke from below. "So, the old man got sent back just like that?"

Gwen and Wanda both nodded in unison. "Yep."

Hela leaped up in excitement. "Does that mean he's dead or not?!"

Lorien glanced down at her, amused by her question. "You're really something, Hela."

"It's probably not instant," Lorien said, rubbing his chin. "When Dormammu used all his power to reverse the attack, it also weakened the remaining force in the process. If those attacks had hit Odin directly at full strength, he wouldn't have just been blasted back."

Hearing that, Hela immediately looked disappointed. "Ah, that's too bad."

Her eagerness was almost comical, bordering on "filial piety" in a twisted sense. Lorien shook his head at her reaction.

Now that the battle was over and there wasn't much left to do, Lorien decided it was time to leave. "Let's head out."

But Wanda, looking slightly regretful, chimed in. "Lorien, I was so close to mastering the teleportation spell... And the Ancient One left me a letter. She told me to open it after she left, so I need to go back."

Lorien nodded understandingly. "That's fine." He gave Wanda a hug. "You'll pick it up quickly."

"Yeah!" Wanda agreed with a determined smile.

In the end, Wanda still needed to return to Kamar-Taj for more study, while Lorien took Gwen and little Hela home.

*Snap~*

Lorien snapped his fingers, and in the next instant, they appeared in a room in the northern building.

"Oh~!" Little Hela cheered as she bounced around. She gleefully ran to the game console, exclaiming, "Great, Odin's going to die~"

Watching Hela jump around excitedly, Gwen suddenly remembered something. She turned to Lorien and said, "We haven't checked on the Martian Cybertron for a while. Let's go and see how things have developed there."

Ah yes.

After Gwen's reminder, Lorien, who had been too relaxed to remember, suddenly recalled the matter.

"Then let's go."

*Snap!*

Lorien clapped his hands, and he and Gwen immediately set off for Mars to take a look.

Meanwhile, back in the room, as soon as Hela saw that Lorien had left, she plopped down by the French window, staring in the direction of Asgard and Bifrost. She frowned, deep in thought, but after a moment, decided to head back to her game.

On the other side, after arriving on Mars, which they hadn't visited in several days...

"Wow~!" Gwen exclaimed in awe as soon as they arrived.

Lorien raised an eyebrow, intrigued by what he saw. It had only been a few days, but already, the surface of Mars had undergone a massive transformation. Half of the planet had been developed, with the Cybertronians completing 50% of the projects Lorien had instructed them to build.

They had divided Mars into a grid system. Grids with underground mines were designated as industrial zones, divided further into areas for construction, technology, and manufacturing. Grids without mines were classified as natural zones.

As a result, the entire surface of Mars was now filled with a dense array of various structures, mostly production-related. In some areas, Lorien even noticed patches of green.

Gwen, noticing it too, pointed excitedly. "Is that a plant?!"

Lorien wasn't sure yet, but he could get answers quickly. "Seniors, report all regional building model data."

[Received, Creator.]

Lorien opened the energy panel, and in an instant, detailed information about the various areas the elders had created was uploaded.

[Weapons of War: Designed to prepare for the extraction of resources from other planets and to repel any opposition that might arise.]

[Metal Smelting: To ensure optimal results in the refinement of metal minerals.]

[Mining Equipment: For greater efficiency in extracting minerals from veins.]

[Natural Ecology: In line with 50% of the Creator's instructions, the current phase involves simulating ecological conditions to build a sustainable atmosphere.]

"Wow~~~!" Gwen was mesmerized as she looked at the individual modules displayed on the panel.

It became clear that each elder had their own unique approach to the development of Mars. Some focused on preparing for potential enemies or resistance, while others prioritized more efficient resource extraction. In short, each elder had their own distinct specialty, almost like different branches of a larger collective.

You could also see each elder's personality reflected in their work. For example, the elder who worked on the ecological module clearly had a more laid-back, nature-loving personality.

"Let's go check out the ecology section," Gwen suggested.

*Snap!*

With a flick of Lorien's fingers, they teleported to the ecological module.

Sure enough, the Cybertronian elder in charge of this section was drastically different from the others. While many of the other elders had bodies covered in molten metal or were bristling with war-ready weapons, this one was adorned with flowers and plants! There was even a whole forest growing on top of its giant, single-eyed head!

"Ha ha ha~~~!" Gwen burst out laughing when she saw the elder. "Why is this one so unique?"

Lorien couldn't help but agree as he glanced around. Among the 1,000 Cybertronian elders, this one definitely stood out the most.

The elder, noticing Lorien's arrival, shifted slightly and respectfully addressed him, "Greetings, Creator."

Considering the elder's massive 10,000-meter body and the abundance of flora in the surrounding ecological zone, even a slight movement caused a whirlwind. Realizing this, Lorien raised his hand, signaling for the elder to remain still.

Then he spoke. "Introduce your ecological module."

The Cybertronian elder hesitated for a moment, then beamed with pride.

"It would be my honor!"
