Chapter seventy one:

Today was the last full day of our holiday and none of us wanted to go home. The last year or so has been a rollercoaster, taking the kids out of school, creating our own school and fighting the government. This holiday is just what needed, escapism. Going home wasn't going to be so bad either we had so much to look forward to. Natasha's birthday, the school expanding and the birth of Mary Jane Watson's baby. Through all of it I knew everything was going to be ok because I had Wanda by my side loving me and supporting me.

Wanda Maximoff started to wake up in my arms.

"Can we just stay here forever Travis?" Said Wanda Maximoff.

"You and I both know we'd get bored quick besides it we keep Natasha away from Maria any longer she may turn on us." I replied.

"You're right but it's been nice hasn't it just relaxing and having fun." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"It really has. Seeing you in a bikini all the time is just a very hot added bonus." I replied.

"You're incorrigible Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"As if you haven't spent the past two weeks talking about my arms." I replied.

"Yeah ok you've got me there. Do you think other couples are still in love with each other after how long we've been together?" Said Wanda Maximoff.

"I don't know. We've always been different Wanda. I don't know whether that's our powers or just our love for each other. There's a connection between us beyond any physical or emotional explanation. You know sometimes I go back in my head to that first year together. At first I was really scared to let myself love you cause I knew if you broke me I'd remain that way forever but I'm so glad I took that leap of faith." I replied.

"I love you so much Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff before she kissed me gently on the lips.

We got ready and went down to breakfast with the kids.

"So what do we want to do today?" I replied.

"Can we just go to the beach and swim and surf?" Said Tommy Maximoff.

"Natasha is that what you want to do?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Yes please but can we go to a souvenir shop so I can get a gift for Maria?" Said Natasha.

"Of course. Let's finish up here and I'll take you to the shop while the boys and your mom goes and saves us a space on the beach." I replied.

Wanda Maximoff looked at me confused as why I didn't want to head to the beach and she goes with Natasha.

"Well I know that you're worried about that instructor being all over you Wanda but I know that you would never cheat on me." I said.

Wanda Maximoff smiled at me before winking. Wanda Maximoff and the boys then went down to the beach.

"What sort of souvenir are we looking for Natasha?" I replied.

"I'm not sure but I'll know it when I see it." Said Natasha.

"I think I might get something for Bucky for looking after Luna. Do you think I should get something for Jordan and Carol? Or your grandma and grandpa?" I replied.

"I think you should get something for Jordan and Carol but I'm not sure about grandma and grandpa it might make them feel sad." Said Natasha.

"How about I buy them all something and we'll work it out when we get home whether to give it to them or not?" I replied.

"Good idea dad." Said Natasha.

I buy Bucky a surfboard bottle opener, Jordan and Carol Danvers a shot glass like we do every time we go away and I got my parents a nice magnet for the fridge. There was a beautiful heart necklace that would match Wanda's eyes perfectly.

"Hey Natasha. How much do you reckon your mom would kill me if I brought her that necklace?" I replied.

"Only a little I think she'd really like it actually." Said Natasha.

I buy the necklace and Natasha gets Maria's present too. We head to the beach to find Wanda and the boys as we got there I can already see the boys out on the water surfing. I then walked up behind Wanda Maximoff.

"Babe close your eyes." I replied.

"Oh god just tell me how many bags there are?" Said Wanda Maximoff.

"There's only a small one just please close your eyes." I replied.

Wanda Maximoff closed her eyes and I put the necklace on her before giving her a quick kiss on the lips.

"It's beautiful but you shouldn't have gotten me anything." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Hey let me spoil my wife if I want to." I replied.

"Fine. I got the boys a surf lesson while you were gone. It was half price so I took them up on it." Said Wanda Maximoff.

We spent the day surfing and swimming and just enjoying ourselves making the most of every second. Then we headed back to the hotel to get ready for our last night there. Wanda Maximoff put on a beautiful red dress that made my heart skip a beat.

"After all this time Wanda you in red makes me swoon." I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

"I'm glad I still have that effect on you Travis." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"You'll always have that effect on me Wanda. Even when we are old and wrinkly I'll still be completely in love with you." I said.

Wanda Maximoff then began to blush. We go down to dinner and we're all pretty quiet no one wanted the holiday to end.

"Listen I know we're all sad about leaving but we've got to enjoy our last night ok? Think about all we've got to look forward to when we get back Natasha's birthday, the school expanding, MJ and Peter having a baby. Let's just enjoy ourselves." I replied.

"Do you think we could go to the karaoke thing in the function room after dinner? I kind of what to sing?" Said Natasha.

"You do?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Yeah. Maria has been teaching me guitar and I've been singing a lot so I wanted to try it in front of a audience." Said Natasha.

"Well I can't wait to hear you." I replied.

"Thanks dad." Said Natasha.

We finished our dinner before heading to the karaoke bar and Natasha signed up. The waiter that hit on Wanda Maximoff approach the bar and ran the other way leaving the woman to serve me.

"So you're the husband that terrified him." She replied.

"You know he flirted with a lot of married women and a lot of men have threatened him but you're the one that really got to him. What can I get you?" She said.

"Two red wines and four cokes please." I replied.

I tried to pay for the drinks but she refused to take the money.

I then brought them to Wanda and the kids.

"Are you not singing tonight Travis?" Said Wanda Maximoff.

"No it's Natasha's turn not mine." I replied.

Natasha then began to sing and everyone cheered.

"That was amazing Natasha." I said before hugging her tightly.

"He's right and it pains me to say it." Replied Billy Maximoff.

We enjoy our evening before going to bed. Wanda Maximoff then climbed into bed next to me.

"You know I'm not going to miss sound proofing the walls." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"I do miss our bed though." I replied.

"That's the one thing that's awful about being married to you Travis. You only have to think about baggage people think about checking our suitcases." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"They'd probably look at me and think he's one lucky guy." I replied.

Wanda Maximoff then climbed on top of me before french kissing me hard and ferociously.

"It's a good thing we can sleep on the plane." Said Wanda Maximoff.
