Chapter sixty six:

Today was the last day of term. The kids had sat their exams and done really well. 5 of the older students were moving to the Avengers headquarters to train in September and become Avengers. We held a little graduation ceremony for them and their families. Thor came and spoke as it making all the mother's in the audience swoon. Today we were having an end of year all day party thing. We'd got a funfair for during the day and then this evening we were having a disco. Wanda Maximoff was coping well now everyday was becoming easier. We went to see my parents every month and they came here sometimes too.

Wanda Maximoff was up early running around like a headless chicken trying to get everything sorted so the day was perfect for the kids. I headed outside to entice her to come back inside and eat something.

"Babe." I said trying to get her attention.

Wanda Maximoff then turned around to face me.

"What are you doing up? The fair isn't until 11." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"It's 7:30 of course I'm up besides I came out here to try to get you to come back inside and eat something." I said.

"Shit have I really been out here for 2 and a half hours? It's ok doesn't it?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"It looks great babe. Come on inside you need to eat and maybe take a shower." I said.

Wanda Maximoff then spinned me around before kissing me long and passionately on the lips.

"What was that for?" I replied.

"I would love to but the kids are already up so I'm going to make them some breakfast." I replied.

"Don't worry we have the penthouse to ourselves tonight. So just don't tire yourself out too much today ok?" I said.

Wanda came downstairs half way through breakfast and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.

"So guys how does it feel to be your last day of terms?" I said.

"It sucks. I really love school. I don't want Joseph to come home." Replied Billy Maximoff.

"I'm excited for our holiday but I will miss school." Said Natasha.

"You four are such nerds now. You've gone from hating school to loving it." I replied.

"Being a nerd is a good thing. Your dad is one too. He's always the smartest person in the room and look at what he achieved." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Pietro's who's your date for tonight?" I replied.

"I don't have one. I don't think girls are interested in me like that." Said Pietro.

"Maria told me that Kelly has a crush on you." Replied Natasha.

"Really?" Said Pietro.

"Where did we go wrong? We're raising play boys. No I'm kidding you guys just be a gentleman ok? I don't want to be a grandmother in my 30's and don't take your uncle Bucky's advice he's awful with women." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"She's right about the last bit if you want advice go to your mom, she's a romantic and she's got all the men in the world falling at her feet." I said.

"Do you think I should ask her to the dance?" Replied Pietro

"She would definitely say yes. She's been waiting for you to ask her all week." Said Natasha.

"Take a long shower before the fair and don't use your after shave it's grim. Ask Peter if you could use his he always smells nice. Put on plenty of deodorant. And brush your teeth. No one wants to kiss someone with bad breath." I replied.

"Thanks dad." Said Pietro.

"Do you think we should send him to a convention camp? Or just send him to with Jordan and Carol for the summer?" I replied.

Wanda Maximoff then gave me a death glare.

"It's a joke babe. Relax. So Natasha what do you want to get Maria for her birthday?" I said.

"Actually I found this necklace online I've been saving up for it." Replied Natasha.

"Let's give you something towards it. I don't want you spending all your money." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Let's go half and half." I replied.

Natasha thanked the both of us before giving us a hug. I then gave her $25 dollars.

"I'm glad that she gets her selfish side from you." I said before kissing Wanda gently on the lips.

"Will you go on all the rides with me to embarrass our kids?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Of course you know that's one of my favorite things to do." I said.

"What's your favorite?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"You'll see this evening." I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

The fair was so much fun. I think Carol and Wanda enjoyed it more than the kids. They went on every ride countless times.

"We're married to complete idiots aren't we?" Replied Jordan.

"Yes but I we wouldn't change them for the world." I said.

Wanda Maximoff got off the ride and ran over to us.

"That was fun." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Are you ready to eat? Cause once you eat or won't be able to go on the rides for a hour or so." I said.

Wanda Maximoff then nodded her head. We sat down and ordered burgers and chips.

"This is why we only had one kid because I'm married to one." Replied Jordan.

"Thanks babe." Said Carol Danvers.

"What are you two doing over the summer?" I replied.

"I think we'll be in the Hampton's for a bit. We'll be back before school starts." Said Carol Danvers.

"We're going to miss you too. I think Natasha will miss you the most even though you do tease her a lot." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

That night we got ready for the dance and Wanda looked beautiful in a blue dress. She looked really hot so keeping my hands off her while we were at the dance was going to be hard.

"You look handsome Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff she kissed me gently on the lips.

"You look beautiful Wanda. Though if I'm going to keep my hands to myself until I get home tonight I'm going to need a better kiss than that." I replied.

The dance is beautiful and it was really sweet seeing Pietro with his date. Pietro requested Wanda's and my song do we could slow dance together. As soon as the dance finished we got back to the penthouse and threw the kids their bags trying to make them leave as soon as possible.

When the door closed Wanda locked it with her red chaos magic and carried me up the stairs.

"Someone's eager." I said.

"I mean we could take our time if that's what you want to do Travis." Replied Wanda Maximoff.
