Marvel: I am Wanda's Apprentice.

Chapter fifty six:

Being away for a few days is exactly what we all needed. By the time we left dad looked a lot better much to my relief. It was good we had a few days to get Luna settled in before school resumed. The kids took it in turns to get up early and walk her in the morning and feed her. They were really stepping up. All the other adults pitched in too. I think Bucky Barnes loved her the most he would sit talking on the bench to her until the late hours. It was probably one of the best ideas I've ever had.

Things were back to normal with Wanda Maximoff which was such a relief. I hated fighting with Wanda it was just the worst and trying not to kiss her or touch her was even more impossible. It was Peter Parker's and Mary Jane Watson's first day of work they were both very nervous. Mary Jane Watson was going to cover math. Bruce Banner would stay with science and I handled english. The rest of the subjects we would divide up between us. Peter Parker was helping with stamina and strength taking some of the weight off of Bucky and Sam. Carol Danvers was helping Wanda with powers. Valkyrie helped out with a lot of admin and accounts stuff turns out when she's sober she's pretty responsible.

By the time lunch came around Peter Parker looked exhausted while Mary Jane Watson took it all in her stride.

"You ok Peter?" I said.

"I'm exhausted there's just so many of them." Replied Peter Parker.

"Get some lunch in you. I hope Bucky and Sam aren't giving you all of their work." I said.

"They are. I've been watching them." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"You're not those annoying assholes anymore that used to bully Peter. You're adults start acting like them. You've got a 14 year old who's mature, respectful and smart maybe try acting like her. And Bucky try acting like the uncle you are to Tommy, Billy and Pietro. It's his first day be nice." I said.

"Sorry Peter." They both replied.

The rest of the day was pretty ordinary. It was like we'd never been away. Luna came and sat in my class for the afternoon she was so well behaved. The kids loved her too.

When we got to the end of the day all of us were exhausted so I decided to order all of us a takeout. Luna sat next to Wanda Maximoff's chair while we had our pizza.

"Are you two ok now?" Said Carol Danvers.

"Yeah we are. We've been married 13 years now and I think that may have been our only major fight so I don't think that's too bad going. I mean I think that argument was long overdue. I love Wanda and I always will do that's all that matters." I replied.

Wanda Maximoff then kissed me gently on the lips. "I love you Travis." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Yep they're definitely good they're back to doing their disgusting PDA." Replied Sam Wilson.

"Come on that's not PDA. If we really wanted to do PDA you wouldn't be able to handle it." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"She's right." Replied Carol Danvers.

We sit talking about nonsense until a subject is brought up I'm not too comfortable with.

"Have you thought anymore about Storm breaker?" Said Valkyrie.

"A little. I have no idea what's holding me back but as I said to Wanda the only thing I want to be worthy of is love from my family and friends. There's a big part of me that doesn't want the responsibility lifting that holds. I'm just happy being me having you all around me." I replied.

"You're such a softly." Said Bucky Barnes.

"Yeah as long as the bad guys don't know that then it's absolutely fine. And if they do I know Wanda can kick all of their asses and look flawless doing it." I replied.

"How's the nursery coming along Peter?" Said Wanda Maximoff.

"It's coming along slowly but surely." Replied Peter Parker.

"You know if you need help I'm here right. The penthouse I built by hand with a few bits of red chaos magic here and there." I said.

"He won't ask for it but I will." Replied Mary Jane Watson.

"The boys are pretty at putting things together too we can come and help you one evening." I said.

"Thank you." Replied Peter Parker.

We have a early night as we were all exhausted from our first day back. Wanda Maximoff had something on her mind I could tell because she kept watching me.

"Babe I thought we said we'd talk about things come on tell me what's on your mind." I said.

"I want to start living everyday to the fullest. How about we make a bucket list every year of 3 things we want to do or achieve by the end of the year?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"You're really worried about time Wanda aren't you?" I said.

"Seeing your dad like that Travis it was scary and gave me the kick I needed to appreciate you and everyday more. I think it would be a good idea to sit the kids down and each pick 3 things we want to do or then there is one for every month." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"I think that's a good idea. Do you have any idea of what your's would be?" I said.

"Well my first one is to play our song on guitar that's all I have so far. What would yours be?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"This is going to sound crazy but I think I want to write a song or record music just for myself and you." I said.

"It's not crazy. You know I love to hear you sing Travis. We should build a recording studio or something." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"You're always so. I love you so much Wanda." I said.

"I love you too Travis." Replied Wanda Maximoff.
